Really good thriller game. Not just a shoot-em-up but a survival game. Well written story unfolds along the way with endearing characters. Well deserving of its Game of the Year honors.

Best Radiohead in a long while

I'm liking this album more than Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, and In Rainbows. I'm not sure this album has any highs as high as those have, but there aren't any lows - no track that I dislike so much that I'm constantly skipping over it like I did with those albums. Happy to hear less of the techno beat that has been so prevalent (and in some cases ruined tracks) on the last few albums. Present Tense, while not a great track in my opinion, does remind me of some of Ok Computer's eeiry melodies and that's a good thing. Fans of old, 1990s-era Radiohead should be pleased.

Kind of a mess

Story is hard to follow at times, questionable casting (particularly Jesse Eisenburg as Lex Luthor), and almost the entire film seems to take place underground or at night, straining the eyes to see what's happening. Dawn of Justice really does not stand up well compared to the Marvel superhero movies, which show much more polish. Fine movie at a discount but a disappointment at full price.

Marginally better than original; not worth cost

Certainly looks better and appears to have more intelligent AI so your teammates dont run out into a hail of bullets or kryll and get themselves killed, but otherwise little is new. Probably would have been better if it included all three of the original Xbox 360 games becuase the first episode alone is both too short (<10 hours) and too recent (<10 years) to really have warranted a standalone remake.
Recommend skipping this one, and just playing the Xbox360 version in backwards compatible mode, either by buying a used copy or getting download codes free with Gears of War: Judgment or the newer Gears of War 4. Microsoft has given away the first Gears of War game so many times now that buying it is wasteful.

Nice looking figure, limited usefulness

Ganondorf is one of the more detailed Amiibo figurines. He provides better than average returns in Hyrule Warriors (Wii U or 3DS versions) thanks to his ability to use two different weapons, and is somewhat usable in Twilight Princess's extra dungeon. However, he remains a bad guy and so his future usefulness is likely limited. It is unknown whether this Amiibo will or won't be supported in Breath of the Wild.

Zelda makes a great figure to go with the Hyrule Warirors games (either Wii U or 3DS) due to her variety of in-game weapons. She has the widest selection beside Link so her Amiibo naturally provides the second best value.

Good but not the greatest

Good movie overall, but plot is too similar to original Star Wars (A New Hope). Was expecting something a lot more original from director J.J. Abrams and lead writer Lawrence Kasdan. The MiIlenium Falcon chase scene was excellent though, so hats off to the digital artists. Also a nice nod the original with the alien cantina scene. Daisy Ridley shines as the lead.
A little too long though and purists will find things to grumble about that break continuity from originals. For example, Han Solo warns against the dangers of random hyperspace jumping in A New Hope, bouncing too close to close to a supernova or some such, but apparently that's no trouble in Force Awakens, as he advises just gunning it right through the bulkhead of another ship.) Overall quite enjoyable and perhaps a better "movie" that the original, but not the best "story".
And a personal aggrevation with the movie, this is the second time J.J. Abrams has destroyed a planet (or planets in this case) in one of his movies and made such an event visible from another solar system. He obviously did not heed the ridicule he took for the ridiculousness of this in Star Trek to not do it again in Force Awakens. Rather glad he's not directing episodes 8 or 9: he's a great director but a terrible astronomer. Suspension of belief for things like hyperspace travel and the Force are fine, but humans just can't look up in the sky and see planets exploding light years away. We can't even do that with telescopes let alone bare eyes. This and the hyperjump through a bulkhead were genuine eye-rolling moments that spoil an otherwise very good movie.

Faithful reproduction of Wii U original
on April 24, 2016

A good reproduction of the Wii U original with some nice new features, and a few minor drawbacks.
Contains the entire story presented in the original, and expands it with new two new Legends gameplay tales: Linkle's Tale, featuring a crossbow-wielding, green tunic wearing heroine, and a Wind Waker epilogue introducing Tetra and the King of Red Lions. The new characters are transferable to the Wii U version with an included eShop code.
Adventure mode has been reworked to better balance the introduction of new characters and not give you all the level 3 weapons so early: level 2 weapons have moved to the new Great Sea adventure mode map, which can't be started until you've completed the normal Legend mode play and completed the first scenario of the new Wind Waker epilogue and unlocked Tetra. Level 3 weapons have moved to the Master Quest map, which can't be unlocked until the Great Sea map is cleared. Thus you spend a lot more time with your lower level weapons than before.
New features include My Fairy, a customizable add-on that allows you collect fairies as allies and use their magic to wipe out a large number of enemies (or enable other effects) at the cost of your magic meter. This gives you a good way to clear a keep when you badly need to save it or move on to rescuing someone in need, though its addition completely ruins KO competition adventure mode scenarios, as your fairy can wipe out hundreds of enemies at once, giving you an unbeatable jump in your KO count. Also new is the ability to switch characters in a scenario, assuming that character is part of the story for that stage. This fixes the poor ally AI present in the original, in which you'd occasionally have to drop what you were doing and race across the board to rescue them, often ruining chances at completing a scenario in time to earn an A rank. It also allows you to position allies in key positions and switch between them while one runs from one keep to another so you can do more in less time, making those A ranks easier to obtain.
Drawbacks are a noticible reduction in rendered character polygons, which is to be expected, but colors have been reduced as well - as if the game is playing at 256 colors. Some blur effects have also been removed, making the flames of the Fire Rod or Naginata appear very basic and artificial. Enemy AI has also suffered, as many will just march right past you and go straight for their target keep while in the original they'd recognize you as a threat and stop to fight you. This causes a lot of situations where you have to constantly chase an enemy, getting in a few hits before its out of range again.
Overall though, if you loved the Wii U original or you're a Zelda fan that never got it, this if for you. It has exceptionally high replay value, too: its tough to get bored of it after a few weeks like most games, because its got so many new challenges and scenarios waiting in adventure mode. I'd completed the original two years ago and have had this version a month and still play it daily.

Had a very similar Case Logic model for many years and bought this one as it was the nearest copy. My old one had a faux-leather cover and its rings were smaller 2.5" instead of 3") while this one is nylon and thicker. It does the job well though and side by side you can tell they are made by the same company.

Good game, attractive Amiibo

This game was "good" on GameCube and Wii, but great on Wii U. Graphics are obviously much improved with higher detail on characters, enemies, and textures although some environments like the canyon still have too many unnaturally sharp angles and the camera can still get into an angle that causes clipping. Control is much improved with the touchscreen, particularly switching between wolf and human forms which you have to do often and wasn't as easily accomplished in the original version. Many of the treasure chests have been replaced with Miiverse stamps, balancing the game a little bit (too many rupees in original) and providing a new challenge to treasure hunting perfectionists. The Wolf Link and Midna Amiibo is highly detailed and a nice throw-in - it lets you access a new, special dungeon, but otherwise doesn't offer much. Plus it's huge for an Amiibo - about twice the size of most.

What is the difference between UN46D6003SF and the UN46D6000SF?

Basically nothing. Samsung changes the last digit of the model number for certain large customers, but there is nothing internally different. Its primarily a deterrent for price-matching, in which most stores require an exact product number match.

What is Hz? and what level of Hz gives the smoothest motion?

Hertz (Hz) is a measure of frequency, particuarly the numbrof times something occurs per second. The human eye can resolve movement at around 30 frames per second (or 30Hz). Most LED TVs display at (minimum) 60Hz to disguise movement and appear less jagged or blurry. Higher end TVs will increase the refresh rate to even higher levels, but divisible by 60Hz for hardware and singal simplicity. The higher the level, the better the picture should be, but its only apparent in really fast moving pictures (action films, etc.)

How come my TV shows 1080/480p but we bought TV at 1080/120?

Doesnt sound like the same thing. 1080p, 1080i, 720p, and 480i are resolutions (vertical number of pixels followed by an i for interlaced or p for progessive mode)

120 probably refers to refresh rate of 120Hz, meaning 120 frames are displayed per second. The faster the refresh rate, the less blurry movement on screen appears.

Most likely, you've bought a 1080p TV (which probably also supports 720p and 480i, as most do) that has a refresh rate of 120Hz. TV might simply be saying that it's displaying HD content at 1080p and regular definition content at a psuedo-480p (a 480i singal that is rendered across two frames due to the "double rate" of 120Hz over the normal 60Hz rate)

I use a mobile hotspot through my Verizon Wireless Droid for my laptop internet connection. Can I use the same for my smart TV?

Presumably yes. The TV should act just like any other IPv4 (or IPv6) internet-capable device with DHCP. But note that videos are heavy bandwidth consumers and will can drain a mobile plan dry after just a few movies. A standard unlimited bandwidth internet service provider is a better fit for Smart TVs.

better sound without audio jacks from TV?

I have a 46" LCD Samsung TV that does not have audio out jacks on the back of it.I have u-verse TV with a DVR that has audio out jacks. Can I hook up a sound bar through my DVR for better sound?
You should be able to connect the audio out from your uverse box to a soundbar, but "better" is subjective. A good quality TV (like Samsung) may have better sounding audio in its built-in speakers than a low quality soundbar (though probably wont be as powerful as a soundbar, as TV speakers are usually in the 5-20 watt range)

smart tv

i have internet already ,do i have to pay extra i a buy a smart tv?
No. There should be no extra cost to use a Smart TV than any other internet connected device on your home network (like laptops, tablets, and smartphones.) Generally speaking, you'll need a wireless router though as its not always possible to run a hardwire line to the TV (assuming the TV even supports wired mode)

how do you surf the net on a smart tv with out a key board

how do you surf the net with a smart tv with no key board
There will be an onscreen keyboard that is controlled by the remote, where you move the caret left and right and up and down using the remote. Pressing another button on the remote will select that character. Exactly how it works depends on the brand.
Newer TVs are coming with remotes that give fine enough control to function like a mouse and while they use the same on screen keyboard, it simplifies the action to point and click.

Samsung 55' 6000

Just bought this and not sure why it says 1280x720p/60p when I turn on the TV. Thought it was 1080p. Can someone help me figure this out. Thanks.
Samsung TVs identify the resolution from source input signal. You need to change the output signal resolution on your cable/satellite box. Note that alot of set top boxes only support 720p or 1080i (and usually 480i as well for standard definition.) To take advantage of 1080p you often need a BluRay player, a regular DVD player than can upscale content to 1080p, a modern video game system that supports 1080p, or some other device that can present content at 1080p.
