Incredibly Comfortable

First, I want to clarify that I have never owned a Bose device that I was totally dissatisfied with quality and sound. That is not to say that all are perfect. Second, I never liked ANY in-ear headphone that I tried before, including all the ones from Bose, not because of sound quality but because my ears are way too sensitive and they hurt, itch and feel too much pressure being exerted on them every single time I use this type of headphones. Also, they always fall off too easily. Thus, my expectation about sound quality was high and about comfort in my ears was very low.
As to sound quality the Soundsport Pulse is not bad at all. Base is above average and I haven't noticed any static or other issues common with other Bluetooth headphones that I have owned and tested with iPhones and iPads. Range is very good too. However, it is difficult to be totally immersed when listening to music since you hear most sounds around you unless you set the volume very high. That is not necessarily a bad thing since they were designed for outdoors use but it is disappointing when you're home or working out on a treadmill for example. Still, you feel much safer working out everyplace else since you can hear cars and bikes coming towards you. If you're a parent with young kids, being able to hear them while you're enjoying your songs can be extremely useful too. I wish though there was an option to turn off external noise as needed/wanted.
Of course, there is no noise canceling as this is supposed to ensure you hear the outside world while you work out. But if you set the volume too high, there is no warranty you will hear anything else around you. Therefore, you can force an immersion but not the one I would recommend despite the fact that you would be defeating the purpose of this headphone.
A great feature is the builtin heart monitor which detects your pulse fast and is fairly accurate although I would not trust my life on it but it is useful and always on while the headphones are in your ears. Even my wife who is a healthcare provider loves that feature. Fortunately, it works with other apps since the one that Bose provides for IOS is very very basic not to say disappointing.
Battery is supposed to last 5 hours with continuous use but I believe it depends on how high the volume is as I once reached 5 hours and 12 minutes and it still had 17% of power. If you listen an hour or two a day it can last 3 or more days without needing to be charged again. You will hear updated information about power which is good despite the rude disruption. It would be great if instead of using a USB cable, you could charge it wireless but that would probably add weight to this incredibly light device. Most control buttons are on the light weight cord that connects both sides of the headphone. My only complaint about it is that there is enough space to add buttons to go forward or back but while there are dedicated + and - buttons for volume, there is only one for pause, back and forward. One push to pause/play, 2 to go forward and 3 to go back. Once you get used to it, you can live with it though.
Now to what really impressed and surprised me. The reason why I would recommend this product over any other sports headphones out there. I can use this one for hours without any discomfort in my ears, neither around them since nothing goes over them nor inside as the pressure is almost non-existent. I could hardly believe that it fits my ears so perfectly and does not fall off while I'm running or eating. No itching either. As I mentioned before, it is very light. Also, sweat seems to be no problem for it. I would have rated it 4.5 stars, taking half a point due to the lack of option to mute outside noise but since it is not an option, I'm giving it a full 5.
Summary: if you need a sports headphone that is light, comfortable, above average sound quality and with a good heart monitor, while still being able to hear outside noise for your or other's safety, this is the one for you. You won't regret it and may rather use it for long hours than noise canceling ones just because of the comfort. But if all you want is to listen to music and forget about the world around you and you're not concerned about being run over by a vehicle in the process, this is not your headphone. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

Excellent on Tiles and Wood

First off, my review is based in part on my wife's feedback. We have a 2600 sq ft house with eramic tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms, hard wood in the living room and carpet in the bedrooms. Be it because she's naturally more pessimistic than I am or because she's had bad experience with this type of product before, my wife was very skeptical that this would do a good job. However, after trying it she called me very excited to tell me that she had never seen the kitchen tiles so clean since the house was built in 2007. I could hardly believe she was actually excited about it but when I saw it I was also impressed. The result on the hardwood floor was also very similar. Her only complaint was that she had to replace the water in the dirty water tank more often than expected. There is a line on the tank that shows how much dirty water it can hold before it needs to be emptied but it actually forces you to do it before it reaches that line. It is very light - that's my wife's words again and I don't hear that very often. So far everything was mostly perfect but then she tried to clean the rug. It did not feel as light anymore despite the fact that she had waited until she was full of energy to try it. It was not extremely heavy but suction on the rug required more muscles from her arms. No big deal though. She was not unhappy with the result although she emphasized that it was ok for carpets and rugs, as long as you don't expect professional cleaning from it. She was a bit concerned that the rug felt somewhat wet but she noticed that it was not too bad. She is genuily happy with what it does.
Pros: Great on ceramic tiles, very good on hardwood floors and ok on rugs. Mostly very light.
Cons: Need to empty dirty tank more than expected. A bit heavy on rugs and carpet. Cleaning solution may go very fast but not necessarily to be blamed on the Bissel Crosswave
Summary: A must have for most jobs if you don't expect professional cleaning results on carpets/rugs that are not cleaned frequently.

Once You Go SSD...

I've built my own computers for almost over 25 years. One thing that I would always prioritize was RAM: the more the better. The main reason for that was to help the performance of applications by using less of the swap memory on the hard drive. With this SSD drive, a lot of RAM is not as important anymore. Also, no matter how much RAM you have, the operating system will always take a long time to start with regular hard drives. Not with this SandDisk. I've had other SSD drives but this one is by far the fastest for both reading AND writing. I haven't experienced any issues with it so far and with a 3-year warranty I feel confident about its reliability and longevity.

While many charge docks of this kind are too light and easy to tip over with the weight of the phone or are made of cheap material, this one is well made, sturdy, charges fast and looks good. The magnet is not as strong as I would prefer but it does its job fairly well. The phone will fit even in a case thanks to its adjustable lightning connector. I would not recommend to use it to charge iPads, especially big ones but it is perfect for iPhones/Apple Watch. I used an iPhone 6 Plus and it never tipped over or felt like it would. Very satisfied.

Good but Not VERY Good

Although it feels plasticky at the back and with 1.3Ghz processing power being able to take you only so far especially with just 1GB of RAM, this tablet is a lot better than any other budget tablet that I have ever owned. Most budget tablets should go straight to the trash can - at least that is how I feel based on my own experience. But not this Acer. Screen resolution is acceptable though not great and it handles casual games and apps without a problem. Jerks are clear while watching videos but it is not completely frustrating as long as it is not used for action movies. The screen size is perfect for videos though. Camera is not excelent but is better than many tablets out there. Some interesting functions such as screen splitting using EZ Snap is great although it is not very smooth if you have more than two apps running in the background. Still, I would recommend it for anybody on a budget and who does not expect incredible performance while running multiple apps; and is ok with a somewhat low screen resolution.

Superb Wi-Fi Extender

Along the years, I’ve had many Wi-Fi extenders. Most of them would extend the signal fairly well. But signal alone does not mean much and I was never happy because although the signal would be strong, the actual throughput was rarely higher than 20% of what I would get closer to my AP (Wi-Fi router) and drop outs were common. But this MaxStream RE7000-AC1900 seems to connect to the main AP in a much more efficient way. Not only do I get a much better signal, 4 to 5 bars anywhere in the house now but the throughput is about 70% as when closer and connected to the original signal.
I now can stream 4K Netflix to the TV in my bedroom upstairs with no lags and there are no more dead spots in my house and even in my yard which is not very small. This is connecting the Extender to my old AP.
I just got a new high end 802.11ac Wi-Fi router and paired it with the the MaxStream Extender which I had to move its location even farther away from the original spot. Now I can stay connected to my network even from a neighbor two houses down the street. It is almost a problem but I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended!

- Works as a repeater for your existing SSIDs or creates new ones if you prefer.
- Fast and easy setup. If you don’t create a new SSID and your router supports WPS, it takes 2 to 4 minutes or less to be up and running without the need of a computer.
- It can be moved anywhere in the house after initial setup

This is it! Nothing short of Amazing

This router impressed me immediately by its size, look and number of ports but being a geek for a living and not gullible when it comes to technology, I had to test it first. Setting it up was very easy. Connected my iPad, used a web browser, followed the wizard and in a couple of minutes it was up and running. Antennas were already installed, just had to set them up.
A Surface Pro 3 which supports 802.11ac 2x2 MIMO connected at a sustained rate of 866.5 Mbps in my office where the router is. Moving to a corner on the second floor - where signal from my previous router used to be one bar and unusable - decreased the speed to 417 Mpbs and signal to 4 bars. I was so amazed that I decided to use Fluke OneTouch AT tool to measure it more accurately. My draw dropped as it connected at 877 Mbps at that spot and 1.3Gbps in the office. Using the Surface, it took about 4 minutes to download a 4.7Gb image over wireless from a dedicated NAS device and a little over 2 minutes from a drive directly connected to the U.S. 3.0 port on the Linksys EA9500. Both wireless and storage performance impressed me as it was faster than my wired NAS which I own because I quit connecting a drive to my previous routers due to poor performance
An Amazon Fire TV stick which used to constantly pause to buffer now performs flawlessly with no more buffering even when all other members of the family are using their devices to stream videos at the same time. I only had to drag and drop it to the Media Prioritization box. It feels as if the router improved not only the local network but also the internet. 19+ other devices feel like they have their own private connection. I still have no 4x4 MIMO devices to test the Wave II speed (2.6+ Gbps) but I am awed by what it can do with all I have.
Parent Control option is limited but very easy. You either block or allow full access to the internet but you can set up specific times and devices. I can finally force my 7-year to put her iPad away at bed time. Web filtering is available through a separate app but I did not test it.
The geek inside of me looked for flaws, especially in performance and stability but none has been found so far. Only a cosmetic issue with the troubleshooting function which shows an Apple Watch, 2 iPhone 6 plus and an iPad as connected via LAN instead of Wireless. Not really an issue.
I highly recommend this Linksys EA9500 Max-Stream AC5400 router so far.

I was surprised by the photo quality. It is also relatively fast for something this small. My only disappointment is that the caddy is not as small as the printer itself. Of course the limitation is due to the size of the photo paper. That's why I'm giving 4 starts but maybe I'm being mean. Easy to setup and easy to print from iPhone, iPad or computer. All wireless. So far no complaints.

If I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, why do I say it is the best in its class? Well, it is a great product and I don't think there is anything better yet. Even the other manufacturer that has a slight better product - if pet hair is your main issue - cannot compete overall with Roomba 880. However, it is not perfect. It cannot vacuum stairs or couches and you need to remove some things off the floor if you want it to do a good job, just as you would if you were using a Dyson or Shark. But it goes around anything it finds on its way and is not afraid of going under couches, tables and beds and doesn't get stuck easily while doing a good job. I will only give 5 stars to a product like this when they invent Rosie but this Roomba is second only to her. Great product. My wife is very happy with it and that says a lot!!!

Since this was on sale, I purchased it and like it so far. There is another model that has a lot more features and looks more masculine but I am still waiting for a more mature model. Smartwatches only now are starting to be more useful. So this one will do for now and I will think about purchasing a better one next year.

Yes, it can. Open NVIDIA Control Panel, under Display click Change resolution, ignore the 1080p (native) under Ultra HD SD and scroll down to PC 1920x1080, click on it and change the Refresh rate to 144Hz.

No not yet but I believe it will soon. As far as I know, for now it only supports Nest, SmartThings, Philips Hue and IFTTT.
