First 4K monitor, very impressed

I picked this up on a Black Friday sale, so for the value it was a great deal to get an early 4K monitor. The monitor is beautiful, preforms flawless. No pixel issue so far. Multiple input options, but be sure to note what input you are using for higher refresh rates. For this resolution level, pretty much expect to use Display Port cables and connectors. Should also be matched up with a better video card. Also, this monitor works better with AMD cards (as I didn't check until after purchase) as it uses AMD's open standard sync version and not Nvidia. (And for the first time in years I chose a Nvidia 980 card on sale for this build...oops.)
Most of the issues that I've had are more related to Windows. Luckily this purchase was part of a new build/upgrade, so went to Windows 10, which handles screen sizing and ultra high resolutions much better. Still takes time getting use to windows changing sizes as I move from screen to screen.
Another screen that I've recently found interesting is the UpStar 4K that goes on promo code at Frys for a very decent deal for this class of monitor. I've been surprised at some of the good reviews of this off-brand monitor. Even at my black Friday sale price, it is still less than my Samsung. However, I still recommend the Samsung, especially if you have a AMD video card.

I had been waiting for larger microSD cards and this 128 GB card fits the bill. While other stores tend to have better pricing and sales on memory cards, this one popped up on their Black Friday offer and I snatched it up. The card works flawlessly in my Nikon D5200, and holds a boat load of pictures and video. I have yet come close to filling it up between downloads. Recommend as a purchase, but only on discounted sales, or until the premium pricing for this size declines.

What else is there to say, it was a great Disney movie with a stellar Robin Williams performance. Too bad there were issues between Williams and Disney that caused him to keep them from using any additional content. However, there was a nice tribute to Williams on this this edition, well worth watching. The film itself stands the test of time and the blu-ray edition increases the video and audio quality to superb levels. Well worth a purchase (especially on sale) and a very happy addition to the movie library.

Not what I expected, but still good

I'm torn on giving a 4 or 5 star rating as the movie was not anywhere what I expected from a story line, and while it was still good, it fell a little short in that department. The video quality and surround sound were both excellent. Acting was good, with generally interesting characters, and a couple of surprises. I would recommend buying it and was happy to add it to my movie library, although would not recommend buying it unless on sale.

My wife saw this before me and said that the non-stop action was so over the top that this movie really rates in the comedy section as much as an action/adventure. I must agree, and the blu-ray version has excellent quality video and the sound track matches the non-stop action. Don't know how may times I will re-watch it, but as it was on sale it was well worth adding to the library.

I was looking for another set of speakers for my wife's computer, as her old ones finally died. I have several sets of Logitech speakers including a couple of high-end THX series. In general these are good average speakers at a moderate price level. I bought them on sale, and would recommend waiting for a sale, as the list price for this level is a little high. The sub is smaller, and while performance suffers as one would expect, it is easier to place versus my other units that have enormous subs.

I purchased this unit several years ago during a kitchen remodel and bought the installation bracket to inset the unit into the island. The bracket cost almost as much as the unit, but both much cheaper than a drawer unit. I bought this second one as a backup recently as we are having problems with the door button. When closing, the sensor is not always set so cannot turn on. Occasionally, have to reopen and close harder to get it to work. Other than that, the unit works great, looks great installed, and I would buy it again.
It is powerful, and the inverter concept works very well. Reheats very quickly. Defrosting and melting work great with the controlled low power setting. It took a while to get use to not having a key pad, but the knob approach did not take long to get use to, and sometimes I now find it easier for most cases.

Got is because I got a free skin

Had received a free skin (for controller and stand) when bought the latest Batman game, and then found out that it was for a standalone stand. So started looking around and found it. The stand works OK, and there is a hidden compartment in it where you can store the earbuds that come with the main system. (It is good to have a place to keep them out of the way as we never use them, but just in case you need them, you know where they are.) I normally wait till something goes on sale to purchase, especially marginal items. Should have waited here.
Overall, if it weren't for the free skin, I would not have purchased. But, it does look good and is useful to set the controller in when not charging or in use. While I checked that I would not recommend to a friend, if you are looking to display your controller when not charging, it works very well. And, with the skin, it does look pretty cool as a set.

Still great for individual play

First off, I don't like MMORPG games, especially those that have monthly fees. And I generally prefer D&D style RPGs, so was looking forward to the next in the line of Elder Scrolls, since Skyrim was such a big hit. I became disinterested in ESO when found out that it was originally planned as a monthly pay MMO. Now that they have changed it to a single purchase for the base game, and I got it on sale, I said why not. While you can still buy in game upgrades, I don't go that route. The game is still great, and very playable. The graphics (on PS4) are very good, although a step down from Skyrim. The quest contents are very extensive, and you could probably play for a year and still not complete everything. You have 3 completely different story lines depending on the your alliance. One note is that there really isn't any pause in this game as it is a MMO. There are areas where you are safe, but once you are out and about, going to a menu does not prevent you from being attacked or dying... There are a number of other differences in the game play that I had to get use too.
While it is good to be able to play as a single player, note that this is a MMO and you will see everyone else playing at the same time. This can be very distractive, comical, and sometimes helpful. Also, by default, you are added to the group voice channel every time you start, so if you forget to turn it off, you can be startled when all of a sudden you have this loud voice from no where (and language can be a problem from time to time). I have also grouped a couple of times with my daughter's boyfriend (male bonding moments), and that has worked out very well. And having a separate voice channel for that was surpurb. After 50-60 hrs of gaming, I can say that so far I am very happy overall.

Bought this as a secondary unit (used by daughter in room) and it is a simple but very functional unit. Does all the standard functions, and the +30 button is nice instead of +1min, since many times I want to do 2 1/2 min instead of 3. Popcorn button is always nice. Overall looks are nice (have black version). Size is good both for external dimensions to fit in location and internal to fit larger plates. I would give it an overall 4 1/2 stars if available (or even a 5 for the general category size).

Yes, it is plug and play. You can load a custom driver from Logitech to get more functionality, but the mouse if fully usable on the initial plug in.
