The story of Eggs, a human boy adopted and raised by Box Trolls, who has to learn enough of the ways of humans in a hurry in order to save his box troll friends from being wiped out by a social climbing exterminator. Watched it with my 7th and 8th grade daughters and we all enjoyed it.
From the producers of supernatural classics Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, the first season of Grimm follows Nick Buckhardt (David Giuntoli), a Portland homicide detective, as he adjusts to the discovery of his fantastical heritage. Descended from a long line of "Grimms", Buckhardt is responsible to help balance humanity from the creatures of myth and monsters of the ancient society by using his newfound powers to sense evil lurking in the human world.

There are too many good shows on these days and I just added another one to my list. I like the shows that demand a bit of a leap of faith and then deliver an interesting mythology - the hero is from a line of individuals that can 'see' the demons and other non-humans that live among us - to go with good characters. Looks like I'll be moving along to Season 2 when I finish.

I'm basically a big kid that still enjoys good kid movies. This one starts with a fairly basic misunderstood/outsider story with the twist being he sees dead people but of course no one believes him. Enjoyable, some good messages, not too scary and a couple of curve-balls thrown in as well.

This was a more aggressive rock experience than I expected - always a good thing, although I find it fits certain moods in particular really well and at other times it can be a bit much.

The title track is my favorite Bad Company tune, and I also like the oddball Happy Wanderer even though it's more of a toss-in. The rest is fairly average, I think.

I tried to stay away but finally had to break down for a reunion with 3 or 4 of the songs from this one, which makes it all worthwhile. Nostalgic for me, and still good music.

This is the soundtrack for a quirky movie and I really like the alternate (original?) version of Cat People, even though the Stevie Ray Vaughan version on Let's Dance still takes the prize. The rest is fairly standard soundtrack fare that I listen to at work - good stuff.
