Not sure why.] Christian Bale continues making Batman and Bruce Wayne his, and as good as he is and as good as Jack Nicholson's Joker was, Heath Ledger steals the show, and he only gets better with repeated viewings. The magic trick, the jail scene, the chase through the streets of Gotham (Chicago) and the hospital visit are unbeatable entertainment tied together with great characters in a great story. Fantastic!
