An Excellent Choice

The Arlo Pro 5S 2K solo cam is an excellent choice for your security needs. I already had an older Arlo system setup, so adding this camera to the existing eco system was fairly easy. If you're just starting out, you would need to download the Arlo app and create an account. After that, it's very straight forward. September of 2022, I had a two sport quads stolen out of my garage, so I've been looking for a solution for monitoring my garage which is detached from my house. The Arlo 5S Pro has excellent wireless range. I have this in my garage and it's about 60 feet from my WIFI router, and a brick wall is in between that. The camera has a excellent video quality. The light is also fairly bright. Not floodlight bright, but it will definitely illuminate the area enough to be able to see. Another benefit of the light is that it will help the camera switch out of night mode and go back into standard mode to help pick up more details of what may be happening, like possibly telling what color clothes the perpetrator is wearing. You can also select what zones in the viewing area are to be detecting. For example, you can have it so it will ignore a tree that constantly blows in the wind. It also has has some sort of AI. It will notify you if it detects an animal or person.
There's not much to dislike about this camera, but I did find a few things I wish ware different. First, this camera uses a proprietary charging cord, which is included, but if you lose it, you'll have to buy a new one before you can recharge your camera. Also, all you get is the cord, no charging block. Another issue I have is that setting up geofencing in the app was not as simple as it was before. I had to update my app in order to add this camera. after the update, everything changed. I had to re-learn the app in order to use it. There is definitely a learning curve. Once you figure it out, it gets easier, but at first, it can be frustrating. I gave up on it at first because I didn't understand how to set up geofencing. It's not an obvious choice. Before you could just select the geofencing and setup your zone. Now you have to go into the app and it's barried in the "automation" area of the app. Even after you figure out where it's at, you still have to un-select a bunch of options to get it to work like the previous version of the app. For example, each mode has the other modes selected in the geofencing option. I had to go into each mode and de-select other other modes except the mode I was in to get it to work right. Seems like they over complicated it, or maybe it's just me. Once I figured everything out, I was happy with the overall performance of the camera.

Gamepad = Phenomenal, Steering Wheel... Meh

The Thrustmaster ESWAP X R Pro gamepad is an excellent controller. This Forza themed gamepad is fantastic for playing any game. I mostly play racing games, and have most recently been playing a lot of the new The Crew Motorfest. This controller has excellent mini-sticks. They are very precise and have just enough tension to them. Some mini-sticks can be stiff, and some are loose. These are in the Goldilocks zone, just right. The button presses are instant and you can feel it. The included steering wheel is fun to use, but to be honest, if you are serious about racing, and use a gamepad, you will find it very hard to use this wheel. It's not ergonomic in any way you swap it in. I found it very difficult to use the triggers for gas and brake, the shoulder buttons for shifting gears, and trying to use the wheel to steer. I ended up going back to the mini-stick because of the difficulty. I can see that if you are playing a game that you don't need all that, it would be lots of fun. I will say that the wheel was very accurate, and I enjoyed using it, but I could not get comfortable using it in any configuration. Hats off to Thrustmaster for trying something different and thinking outside of the box. The support software, ThrustmappperX, allows you to fine tune this controller. You can re-assign buttons, dial in dead zones on the mini-sticks, and more. The onboard sound is also very good. I have a nice pair of wired earbuds, and they sound amazing when plugged into the ESWAP XR Pro.
While this controller is top notch, there are a few things I have issues with. First, the graphics on the buttons are painted on, the A,B,X, and Y buttons. The triggers are also painted, as well as the D-pad. The reason I take issue with this is that the graphics and paint all wore off shortly after getting it with my previous Thrustmaster Xswap Pro controller. Another issues is the lack of texture on the gamepad. It has none. It would be nice to have a little bit at least. My last issue is that the connection on the gamepad is Micro-USB, as opposed to the norm of USB-C. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to be able to disconnect the controller and be able to plug in my phone or other devices. Budget Gaming Powerhouse

The Gigabyte G5 KF5 gaming laptop is a budget powerhouse. For the price, you get an i7 processor, RTX 4060 mobile, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD, and 15" 144hz screen. Out of the box it was easy to setup. After all the update where applied, I set off playing a brand new game, The Crew Motorfest. This laptop automatically applied all high settings, and play this game flawlessly. Next up Monster Hunter Rise, highest settings, and set max frames to 144, again this game ran flawlessly too. The Crew 2 maxes out at 60FPS, but at ultra settings, it ran perfectly.
The laptop speakers have a decent sound, but I wouldn't recommend them for anything other than browsing YouTube or Facebook. Where the sound really shines is that Gigabyte included DTS with this laptop. It is truly a game changer in terms of sound quality while playing games or watching movies. It's so dramatic to me, that I instantly know that it's off if I happen to change headsets, or connect wired headphones.
The G5 KF5 is also very stylish to me, visually appealing. I know this is subjective, but I really like it. It's also compact and lightweight, which for a gaming laptop of this performance level is quite amazing. You could easily put this laptop into a backpack and barely know that it was there.

Removing the back to swap out RAM or add an extra SSD is simple enough. You already have 16GB (8GBx2) DDR5 4800 RAM which is excellent as is, but you have the option to upgrade. You also get one extra M.2 slot, so adding an extra drive will be easy. Just note that you will need to source an M.2 screw, because it does not have one in the spot, and did not come with the laptop accessories.
There are only two issues I have with this laptop, and they are that the G5 KF5 gets very loud when playing games. So loud that my wife came into the room and asked what the heck is that noise. The other is that the screen is just ok. It gets the jobn done, but it lacks color. It seems a tad washed out. It would be nice to be able to tweak the color a bit to add some vibrance, but there are no options for that currently.

Fast, portable, large capacity

The Crucial X9 2TB portable SSD drive is an excellent solution for storing lots of information, large files, and taking it with you. Transfers are extremely fast. The best thing is that you can easily put this in your pocket, or even attach it to your keys. It's about 3/4's the length of a credit card, and only 3/8" thick. Initially, I wanted to use this with my home security system, but for some reason the home base won't recognize it. But now I use it to store all the current PC games I play, and can take them from PC to PC at my house, and to my property up north. So I only have to download the game once, and then direct the game client to the Crucial X9 drive, and it finds all the games I have. This comes in really handy on my laptop due to limited space, and I haven't upgraded the OEM drive yet. I've also downloaded a bunch of movies to the drive and bring them with me up north too. This really comes in handy because there is not any internet companies that are in the area, and the cell phone signal is hit or miss up there. Planning ahead, and being able to fit a lot of movie options on this drive is a game changer for me. The only complaint I have is that it only comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. It would be nice to have a USB-A to USB-C cable as well. Luckily I had one, and was able to make it work for the situation I have. If you looking for an extremely portable external hard drive with 2TB capacity, look no further. This is the drive you are looking for.

Phenomenal Soundbar

The Bose Smart Ultra soundbar packs quite a punch. It has phenomenal sound in a package of this size. It's very low profile so it should fit under most TV's. The initial setup is very easy to do through the Bose app. You can also enable Alexa and Chromacast to control the soundbar and your TV. The soundbar sounds amazing right out of the box, but once you run the calibration setup, it takes this soundbar to the next level. After I ran the calibration, I started watching some movies. The first one I watched was Elvis, and I kept looking over my shoulder because it literally sounded like there were noises and people talking next to and behind me. I've had other dolby atmos soundbars, but this is the first one that me looking around and thinking how in the heck is that coming from that direction. The supporting Bose app is easy to use and navigate. What I really like about the app is it gives you the ability to customize/EQ the sound. So many other manufacturers don't give you an option to tailor the sound, so I really appreciate that Bose allows this. If you're looking for an all in one solution and don't have room for a powered subwoofer, this is an excellent option. It has plenty of bass, but I will say that the only thing that could make this soundbar better is a powered sub in my opinion.

Enjoyable to use

The Amazon Echo Show 5 is a fantastic smart device. For me, it makes for an amazing alarm clock. You can also easily check your security camera's, doorbell, etc. You also get Amazon order notifications. Heck, you can even watch movies on it if you really wanted to. The Echo show 5 is basically an Echo with a tablet screen. It even has a camera, so you can make video calls if that's your thing. I personally like that it has an option to disable the camera right on top of the Echo Show 5. Initial setup was fairly easy. I had a minor issue which required me to reset and re-run initial setup. The Echo Show 5 has surprisingly good sound for such a small device/speaker. One thing I didn't care for is all the "tips" and "recommendations" it was continuously pushing. I wanted to use this mainly as a clock, but all tips and recommendations minimize the clock into the upper left corner making it hard to see. Plus most of the recommendations were irrelevant in my case. I had to dig into the setting and disable just about everything except local news, and weather. It is very nice having Alexa available to me in this format. Once you get everything set to how you like it, it is definitely enjoyable to have and use.

Built to go where other e-bikes can't. Even when you aren't riding this e-bike you can take it where others can't go thanks to its easy foldability. Durable, shock absorbing off-road fat-tires can take on any sort of bike path or trail you can think of. Be sure to make use of the rear storage rack so you can take more than what's in your backpack.

Now I get the E-bike hype

I now understand the electric bike hype now. I rode this bike over 14 miles in one outing without even breaking a sweat using Level 1 assist, which cruises around at 11-12 mph as long as you're peddling. From what I can tell, everything seems great quality, but I have noticed lots of creaks and rattling. At first I though it was the fenders because of the sound, but upon further inspection, it appears to be coming from the both brake assemblies. From what I can tell, the brake pads are very loose inside the calipers. It's the worst around 10-11 MPH. I also had to straighten out the handlebars out of the box. They were slightly off, and my OCD kicked in. The Front shocks aren't the best, but I'm 6'2", 220 lbs. So maybe they're not designed for someone my size. I was able to make them better by maxing out the pre-load on the forks. This made a noticeable improvement. I appreciate the wider seat the Z4 Pro comes with, but is still uncomfortable after about 5 miles. I will be swapping this out with a memory foam/gel seat that I have on an older bike. I love that the Z4 Pro folds up. It makes storing and transporting it easier. I bet it could easily fit into the trunk of a car when folded. The bike was packed very well. Lots of foam padding to protect the paint during shipment. Instructions were easy to read and understand. The bike comes mostly assembled, so after a few minutes, you'll be up and running, granted the battery has some sort of a charge. The Z4 Pro also comes with tool kit for assembly, so no worries there. It also has a backlit LCD screen and a front light for traveling at night, but there is no rear brake light.

A solid choice, but...

I was expecting a bit more. The Razer Wolverine 2 Pro is a great wireless controller, but it lacks features found on much less expensive controllers. For starters, no haptic feedback. They claim that for a professional controller, most pros don't use rumble/haptic, and it adds weight. I feel that for the price tag of this controller, it should be included, and a switch to enable or disable it be included. The triggers are also not adaptive like your standard PS5 controller. The buttons on the Wolverine 2 Pro can be reassigned, but you have to download an app on your smartphone to make any changes to the button and RGB lighting. The onboard sound is actually very good, but I did have an issue with the left and right channels being swapped. After a quick google search for a firmware update, I found what I was looking for. The firmware corrected the issue. The controller itself is very enjoyable to play with. It fits very well in my large hands and is ergonomic and comfortable. The analog sticks are very accurate and responsive. The button presses are instant, giving you immediate feedback of your actions, which can making playing shooters and other high action games much more enjoyable. While using the controller I've noticed no difference between wired(charging) or wireless mode, so you should expect a lag free wireless experience if you're considering this controller.

Fantastic earbuds, pleasurable experience

These Sony WF-C700N earbuds have been a very pleasurable experience the past few days. Music, podacsts, movies, and games all sound fantastic on these earbuds. Setup was very easy. When pulling the earbuds out of the charging case, my S22 Ultra automatically asked if I wanted to pair with them. I then downloaded the Sony Headphone app, performed a firmware update, and I was off and running. In the app you have to ability to customize sound and buttons to your liking. So far I haven't messed with the EQ at all. These earbuds have a great snappy sound out of the box. They also have excellent noise canceling. One of the best at it that I have tried lately. I work at an automotive production plant, and it's very noisy, so noise canceling is very important to me. The WF-C700N's are also very light and comfortable in my ears. I wear them all day at work with no fatigue. I have fairly large ear holes, and with the large tips, they fit my big ear very well. Battery last all day at work. I generally get two 8 hour work days out these earbuds before I have to charge them. I have noticed that the left earbud has a small bump/petrussion on the top to easily identify the bud from the right side without having to look. I have a lot of earbuds, but these are my current dailies. I'm very happy with them.

Powerful and Versatile

This Dyson V11 vacuum is very powerful and extremely versatile. It's very easy to setup out of the box. There is no manual in the box, but if you download the Dyson app and register your vacuum, you can get the online version of the manual. It also has some tips for you to check out. It is highly recommended that you fully charge the battery before your first use. After everything is ready to go, I was impressed with how well it actually vacuums. My experience with pole type vacuums like this is that they generally only work on bare floors. This is not the case with the V11. It has a very powerful suction, and the brush puts a nice nap on the carpet, so you definitely have confidence it's working. You can also tell by the collection bin just how well the V11 is working. I have roughly 750sqft of carpet, and I was able to get through all of it with plenty of charge to do it over again using the MED setting. You have three power modes: ECO, MED, and BOOST. Generally, you get about 30 minutes runtime on MED, and half that on BOOST. ECO gives you almost an hour runtime, but would only recommend using it on that mode on bare floors. You also get some attachments that are for more specialized cleaning. What I really like about the V11 is how versatile it is. You can remove the pole and attach the crevice or brush tool and easily clean your car or other hard to reach and awkward spots. Doing this basically turns the V11 into a dust buster on steroids. One thing that I really like about the V11 is just how easy it is to empty the collection bin. It is very clever, and very easy to do.

Unfortunately, no. It has an integrated Intel HD 520 with no dedicated video RAM. If your looking for a laptop to play those titles, look for one that come with at least and Nvidia GTX 940M. I believe to upgraded version of this laptop comes with that option.
