Cool But Lots of Problems

I took a chance buying this for my family, as most refurbished products like this are returned for a reason. Here's what I found out about the product:
First, Windows would not activate because it was "already activated". I had to go through the troubleshooting and call Microsoft to get it activated.
Second, there were several hardware and software issues. For example, the touchscreen would go nuts and lock up like someone was touching it all over. It can be fixed with a reboot but it has happened again since.
The software is terribly configured. All of the VAIO software crashes and many of the Windows updates fail. A few days after I used it the whole computer would no longer reboot. I used the utility to re-install Windows. Then I deleted all of the VAIO software (at least a dozen programs). Then I installed all the updates for Windows and upgraded to Windows 8.1 (it is one of the updates). Afterwards, the computer worked better but realized it couldn't play flash (like youtube videos). Everytime I tried, the graphics driver crashed. I went to Intel's website and downloaded an older version, (yes older) and it fixed the problem for now.
I am watching this computer closely and if any of the problems resurface in the next few weeks I am going to return it. If the problems are solved, it would still make a good home PC.

Make Sure You Set These Up Properly

I bought these headphones because I workout every day and wanted some headphones that would stay on while I worked out.
These headphones come with three different size earpieces. When I started using them with the factory installed size, the sound was absolutely horrible. I could only hear treble and the sound was very tinny. A few days later I remembered to try the larger earpieces and it made a world of difference. When properly adjusted, the sound quality is what I would expect from a set of headphones in this price range.
