A wonderful, wonderful true-life story

I must say that I did not know much about the story going in, despite this happening in my lifetime. So I did not know the outcome, nor did I have any recollection of any details from the actual events from 1996. The first time I viewed this movie I was surprised at just how engaged I was and connected I felt with the characters. Watching it a 2nd time sometime later, knowing full-well the outcome, I was just as engaged in the film and even more enamored by the story overall. Definitely worthwhile for everyone to check out. Also, the 3D version may just be the definitive experience to watch this film. The depth and dimension to the image was just phenomenal. It complimented and enhanced the grandiose nature of the mountain, Everest. The first time I watched it was in 2D, so being able to experience it the 2nd time in 3D only solidified my position that the 3D presentation is a much better way to experience and immerse yourself in the film.

Entertaining Movie for all ages

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed it with lots of laughs for all ages. It's not quite on par with most Pixar movies, but it certainly is worth watching nonetheless! The 3D effects were quite nice as well. It doesn't stand out as the best 3D presentation that I've seen, but it certainly is still very well done.

Great Cable Modem for the Price!

After having rented my cable modem directly from Time Warner Cable for two years, I decided to do some research to find a good cable modem. All professional reviews kept pointing to this modem, so I decided to give a try. I'm glad I did because the difference between the modem I was given and this modem was immediately apparent. Download speeds were improved noticeably. I went from roughly 70-75mbps down to 110-115mbps down just by switching. Internet speeds also stay consistent even during peak usage hours, whereas before, I would notice a drop in speeds by 10-20mbps, usually.
If you're renting a modem from your service provider, do yourself a favor and buy this one! It will be worth the small price you pay up front.

Entertaining, but Flawed

X-Men: Apocalypse is an entertaining film and has some noteworthy instances, however I found the movie to be a bit overstuffed. There were a ton of characters, as expected in an X-Men movie, but the plot took a lot of unnecessary tangents that convoluted the overall direction of the film. Some of those characters also seem like an afterthought, which is a shame because some of them are actually really cool characters. The main antagonist Apocalypse himself was quite interesting, although he doesn't seem as menacing as you think he should be.
Still, I was entertained and thought it was a decent addition to the series.

Improved Signal Strength and Stable speeds

I have tried several routers in the last two years, including Linksys, Belkin, D-Link, and have had some decent experience with some of them, but this Asus router is the best one that I have used thus far. The router software interface is simple and easy. The router itself is fast. The connection distance/range is the largest of the routers that I have tried and download speeds stayed the most consistent as I roam throughout the house. A small, but really appreciable feature that is included is the ability to turn off the LED lights on the unit itself. Great consideration was put into making this router and the result is an incredibly solid product.

Star Trek Beyond is another great addition to the franchise reboot. While it's not the strongest of the reboot series, it still is highly entertaining. I found more entertainment with this film than I did with Star Trek Into Darkness, which was still pretty good, in my book.

Gorgeous animation, but thin on substance

This is one of the most impressive looking CG movies I've seen to date. There were multiple times I remember being awestruck at the image on screen. Still, that doesn't fully make up for the relatively thin and predictable storyline. Although, I can give it a pass since it's supposed to be supplemental to the Final Fantasy XV game coming out.
I definitely can recommend it to fans of the Final Fantasy franchise, especially to those who are going to play FFXV, but to the average person not interested in the Final Fantasy realm, this may not be enough to entertain.

Good Addition to the franchise

X-Men Apocalypse is a solid, fun movie, although it doesn't reach the same level as Days of Future Past. Highly entertaining, although the movie seems a little overstuffed. There seemed to be too many side stories going on and lacks some focus. Still, very entertaining and the scene with Quicksilver in this movie is as good, if not better (my opinion), than the Quicksilver kitchen scene in DoFP. Definitely worth watching.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, but have a minor qualm with it being under the guise of a Captain America movie. It is an ensemble cast, with just as much focus on Tony Stark/Iron Man as it was Captain America. The only real emphasis that allows this to be under the Captain America moniker is the focus on Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. All the rest follows suit and continues, with included repercussions, of the events in Age of Ultron.
Still, as I said I thoroughly enjoyed the film. The action sequences and the overall feel was just a lot of fun and I enjoyed the inclusion of the additional characters, like Black Panther and Spider-Man. While I still think CA: The Winter Soldier was a better film overall, this one is still quite good and definitely worth watching.
