Perfect Cordless Vacuum + Excellent Pet Owners

The Hoover Fusion Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum is almost perfect. Why almost perfect? The vacuum can be used a portable handheld vacuum for cleaning incidental spills or a proper room vacuum for cleaning a whole room. The battery also lasts long enough to clean a whole room and the floor cleaning attachment is motorized - so it cleans properly. Super impressed. As a cat owner, it had no problem with cat hair. The Hoover Fusion Cordless also comes with a lot of attachments for various crevices, floor types, etc. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is it would be great if you could charge this with the battery inside, but you remove the battery to charge it - not a show stopper, as the battery lasts forever and charges fast (so it's a trade off) but otherwise an awesome vacuum and recommended.

Really happy with the Philips Norelco Multigroom 5000. Yes, it's an excellent groomer and can tidy up a beard and has enough attachments and blades so you can fine sculpt it. Yes, it also has clipper attachments so if you're keen to use it to tidy up longer hair (or even gives yourself a clip cut). There's a handy bag for all of the attachments so it's easy to store ad the clippers work either plugged in or cordless. Recommended

Great Robot Vacuum but now I want the Shark 750!

The Shark Ion Robot 720 is Shark's mid range robot vacuum. The 750 being the top of the range, and the 700 being the base model.. The 720 comes with a remote and has HEPA filters but lacks WiFi and Google Home/Alexa integration.
As a vacuum cleaner, the Shark Ion Robot 720 is great vacuum cleaner. We were impressed with the ability to pick up dirt, cat hair and it made our clean house feel like we were not so clean. The dust container is a good size and Shark recommend cleaning the HEPA filter weekly. There's a great Spot Clean feature (remote or button on top) if you need the Ion Robot to focus on just a particular mess (spilled cereal, dirty doorway, etc). The included LCD remote is intuitive, easy to use and you can schedule cleaning or send it back to the dock. It's kind of cool just making the Shark Ion Robot 720 head off and do cleaning while you sit on the couch and relax.
Worth noting, the vacuum is not too loud. It didn't terrify our cat and the included dock is good and the Shark Ion Robot 720 docked happily and easily when it needed more power.
I do kind of wish I had the Shark 750 instead which has WiFi support, an App and integrates with Google Home/Amazon Alexa, as it would be fun to go Alexa, clean the house. It's not a deal breaker - but if you're into smart homes, go for the 750.
As a robot, the Shark Ion Robot 720 is good but Shark's management of how to navigate rooms is a bit intrusive. To mark "no go" zones, the Ion Robot 720 come with black tape called "bot boundary". This black tape is stuck on your floor to say "don't go here". This is where Robot Vacuums get challenged. In an apartment - you end up with a lot of black tape blocking no go areas. In a larger home, you may not need the tape but either way, you need to stick down the tape. Which honestly, feels intrusive. No robot vacuum has this perfect yet and tape is easier to install than what other robot vacuum cleaner makers offer, but it would be great if you could just train it on you home floor plan and say "avoid here". One day.
Would I buy this again - yes, but if you can stretch to the 750 do it.

Best Lightweight Hand Blender / Variable Speed

The Philips ProMix Hand / Stick Blender is almost perfect. It's lightweight, can be easily operated with one hand and performance is great. In the box you have the motor, the blend attachment, a plastic beaker tall container for blending in, the manual and a recipe book.
A major selling point of this blender is the variable speed trigger. The trigger, which is in the handle, and is controlled using your thumb, means you can be as fast or as slow as you need. No switches or dials - which makes fine adjustment of speed easy.
First use, I made Basil Pesto (Basil, Garlic, Pine Nuts, Olive Oil, Parmesan) and the ProMix had no problem making a smooth creamy pesto. The garlic and pine nuts were mashed effortlessly and there was no clogging of the blend mechanism. I was impressed.
The blend unit is dishwasher safe, so clean up was a breeze
My only (small) comment is that it there is an advanced model of this that comes with a whisk attachment. You can buy it and other attachments separately (not in stock currently), but I would recommend buying the Pro unit for all the extras. It's a great blender but I am so impressed that I want to use it for everything else it is capable of.

Strong Apple Watch Certified Cable

Apple make great products, but let's face it - their cables are ahem, not great. If you're like me you've had more than a few Apple cables fray, break and generally cease to be useful. That's where Belkin comes to the rescue.
The Belkin Duratek Apple Watch cable is made of a mix of kevlar and nylon. It's got heavy duty plastic around the USB plug and the Apple Watch magnetic charging base is also suitably protected. In fact, this cable is so well built Belkin give it a 5 year warranty - which is longer than (honestly) you would expect Apple to keep supporting any of the current Apple Watches.
Does the Duratek Apple Watch cable work? Yes. It charged my Apple Watch at the same speed as the official Apple One. The cable is a good length (4feet) and the build quality means it has become my permanent watch travel cable - so I use it more than the standard Apple Watch cable. As I can throw it in my bag, unplug, replug without worrying I'll end up with a useless cable. Definitely recommended over the official Apple product.

Disclosure: I am a Best Buy Tech Insider Network member. I received the Coravin for evaluation purposes. The following is my fair, honest review and opinion. I have not received compensation.
The Coravin Model 2 is an unexpected item at Best Buy. It's a wine preservation system. Which means, it allows you to open and drink wine, without removing the cork and prevents oxidization of your wine by using argon (a safe, inert) gas.
This is one beautifully engineered tool. It also looks serious - it has clamps that firmly grip the bottle and a long syringe style plunger that pierces the Cork and manages the exchange of gas for wine. The argon gas pressurizes the bottle, but I never felt like there was any risk that the bottle would break. It's worth noting the Argon gas capsules will need to be replaced. I didn't drink enough during this test to give you an answer on how long a capsule would last (Coravin claims up to 17 glasses).
Wine pours smoothly and is definitely preserved well. This is not something to bring out at a dinner party unless you pouring from your private reserve. It's better suited to when you may want to open a special bottle and not drink it all in one sitting but savor it. So best suited to those that prize their wine or want to sample several in one sitting without worrying about spoilage.
It's genuinely easy to use and looks more imposing than it actually is. In our house, it's a nice addition as we never tend to drink a whole bottle in a sitting - so it will pay for itself in reducing the amount of wine that is wasted (or just used for cooking). We're also planning on getting one as a gift for our in-laws come the holiday season, which is a pretty good recommendation.

Don't be put off by these specs, read the full review. These are GREAT specs for a Chromebook.
I am going to focus on reviewing the Acer CB515-HT and not Chrome OS. But if you're not aware, Chrome OS is Google's operating system. It's all browser based and is typically used in schools and on small sub-notebooks. More recent Chrome OS devices, including the Acer CB515-HT also support the Google Play store, which gives you access to 10,000s of apps in Google Play (including games).
The first thing I noticed about the Acer CB515-HT is that its size. At 15" this Chromebook could be a replacement for your everyday home laptop. So that's what we decided to do. I am actually typing this review on the Chromebook - and it does not disappoint.
The Acer CB515-HT is a premium looking device. It's a silver aluminum, has forward mounted speakers on the keyboard (no numeric pad though), and looks like a certain laptop from a fruit company. That should tell you how premium looking it is. The Acer and Chrome branding is subtle. There are stickers on the front and keyboard area promoting the 1080HD screen, the Intel chipset, 12 hour battery life and MIMO wireless. The keyboard has a enough movement to be easy to type on and is backlit for ease of use during night. The screen also features a webcam. In my tests, webcam quality was great in both low and good light and there was no issue with a Google Hangout video call.
Using the Acer CB515-HT is blistering fast. Chrome OS makes a big difference here. In fact, the size (full keyboard, 15" HD Screen) means I do not feel a need to go back to a "regular" PC. This does everything I need and is faster, quieter (no fan) and the family sharing ability (everyone has a login, with settings saved, restores from where you last were) is just a dream.
The only thing that is missing for me is a numeric keypad. That's more a personal need than everyday requirement for most people. My family had no complaints at all and I did get comments like "this is way better than the one I use at school" and "gosh our old (Windows) laptop was so slow". Seriously, if you don't need a Windows PC then the Acer CB515-HT is the way to go.
I had no problem using the Acer CB515-HT with an external mouse. No driver installs, just plug in and use. I used a mouse with a receiver, but the Acer CB515-HT has Bluetooth, so you can use a bluetooth mouse or keyboard if you wanted.
Also worth knowing that the Acer CB515-HT charges using USB C. It has 2 USB C ports and can charge via either - which is cool if your desk is setup and it's easier to have power on one side or the other.
If you're ready to take the plunge, some extra tips for you:
1. Backup your old laptop photos and video to Google Photos
2. Switch from Dropbox to Google Drive
3. Relax - everything will be backed up, software auto updated, and virus protected!

If you want to go full cloud, but don't want to compromise on screen size (15"), quality (1080HD) and want a Chromebook that looks professional, then the Acer CB515-HT is for you.

The Model One E350 is the perfect city companion with it's ultra lightweight and foldable design. The 700 watts of peak power will propel you to your destination with ease and style.
What’s the recommended age
I have had it about a week, based on the weight (26lb) I would say adults or late teens. It's relatively heavy. Kids can ride it, but it might be too much for them to carry around when not in use.

I own this. It doesn't connect via Bluetooth or need an app. The idea is that it cools your forehead and slows your metabolism. I find it useful, I can't sleep with it on because it makes some noises which bother me (but I am very sensitive).

Yes, but I would not recommend it. It has AMD FreeSync but refresh rates are not ideal if you're a serious gamer.
