Super easy to pair to my phone, easy to control w the buttons on the speaker, great range, great battery life, great volume. Built like a tank. I've no worries about it getting knocked around.
Going to buy a bluetooth adapter for my PC to use the speaker with the PC as well.
Lights are as bit cheesy for my tastes; others may like them just fine.
As expected, bass-heavy [for a compact driver at least] but decent clarity given no tone controls. I like talk radio a lot and the speaker works just fine with that as well as music.

Wonderful outfit, I'm using it to control lighting in 3 rooms, giving each a different mood. Easy to setup, app detected the bulbs quickly, each can be controlled independently. I'll be purchasing some of the colored bulbs as well for more flexibility. Note that the bulbs are not cheap.
HUE app is easy to use although the self-defined routines are not as flexible as I'd like. Some rely on location being turned on the the phone, a personal negative but that's just me.
Still teaching myself to use the HUE app to control the lights and not the lamp switches.

Hair trimmer does just that - works well!

Having facial hair by choice and arm hair by design trimming on a regular basis is a necessary thing. If you've used scissors in the past, please step up to a trimmer like this. I did the scissors routine for years and did an "OK" job but finally got a trimmer a few years back. This trimmer is a newer model of the old one and definitely does a great job.
Dual trimmer heads - Normal and wide for different parts of the body. I use the normal head for facial hair only so can't address the capability of the wide trimmer head but don't doubt it being able to do the job.
Nose trimmer - It works! 1st time I've trusted a nose trimmer, glad I did.
Lots of attachments [guards] - I found the 2 stubble guards most closely trim at the same length as did my old trimmer.
Great battery life, great grip, easy to change guards and trims well.
Carrying pouch for parts and a small wall-wart for charging - the trimer, a couple of guards and charger will pack easily for travel.
A necessity if one wants to minimize time grooming but look their best.

Great performance, lightweight, great looking

As my first new laptop in many years [and 1st Windows-based laptop in even longer] I must say how impressive the overall HP Spectre really is. My air-light non-Windows-based laptop that has been my go-to machine for travel, viewing movies, light photo editing, email, web and other light tasks now has a replacement.
Fast: Boot times are very short due to the SSD drive and i7 processor w 8GB of RAM. Wireless networking is easy to configure, fast on my network [ac] and has been reliable.
Powerful within its limits: It's obviously not a gaming PC nor is it a workstation - but for basic connectivity and ability to do day-to-day tasks, it's great.
Light: Seriously lightweight, slim.
Design: Classy comes to mind. For a commodity item it scores lots of points for simply being nice to look at. HP finished this unit in a matte white trimmed with what looks to me like champagne-colored metal works. This is a really great looking laptop. Leather pouch is included, a nice touch.
Screen: Gorgeous. Still getting used to its touch capability. HP set the default screen mag @ 150%, good move for a small hi-rez display.
Sound: Internal speakers are pleasing but not hi-fi; it's a very compact laptop and it sounds like it. Now, the earphones jack, that's another story.

It can run warm in the rear vent area so be attentive to not blocking the ventilation ports and cutting off airflow. 3 rubber feet on the bottom give it some clearance from the surface it's sitting upon but, if you like to crawl in bed and finish up a Netflix show with the laptop propped up on your knees be sure to give it some room to breathe.
Downsides
1. Having to buy adapters/dongles [it comes w 3 USB-C ports & a USB-C to USB-A adapter]. I'm looking forward to putting this to use for movie watching via a projector hence the need for a USB-C > HDMI adapter [literature says it will output video via USB-C].
2. Battery-life: Half the life of my old laptop.

Thoroughly impressed by this projector

Like many of us having used projectors at work [just the basic functions in my case] but not at home, when the opportunity arose to try out this Epson PLHC 760HD projector, I jumped as I'm in the planning stages of putting together a media room/recording studio - this would be a great way to determine the functionality of a good projector and to find out if a project would be a good fit versus another means of displaying images. At this stage, room darkening/sound proofing are still a ways off so my test was not under ideal conditions but that was the point - could this projector work satisfactorily under really crummy conditions? I'm happy to say it did everything I expected and more.
The basics: The unit is compact, easy to setup and has all the connections I needed - HDMI, VGA, audio out - and then some.
I found that ECO mode worked best, providing a bright, clear image while keeping the lamp cooling fan from running as fast as in normal mode and contributing to the ambient sound level of the room. The display mode I tested in was Cinema mode; Game mode is a bit warmer but the other modes were simply made for an in-store "Wow!" factor.
A few items:
Split screen to allow PC [VGA] and HDMI inputs simultaneously - I can see sending music creation software to one half of the screen and vid display on the other -
Underscanning adjustment
Remote control works whether pointed at front or rear of unit - this can be changed in the menu but the default is a good setting.
Built-in test pattern for a quick visual check on image alignment
User assignable button on the remote for basic quick reference from a handful of functions
3 quick keystone adjustments on top [near Tele-Wide and focus racks] with 3 main detents but full control between those settings
as well as fine-tuning for vertical and horizontal within the menu.

The list goes on - there is a myriad of adjustments available.
But...How is image quality? Even in my less-than-ideal environment, the image is outstanding. I don't have a proper screen to project upon nor a treated/painted wall suitable for the purpose so conditions are far less than ideal and the projector came through jaw-droppingly well.
I infrequently get this enthused over tech items but this has the gears turning as I pull together plans for my media room; I see it playing a central role in how the room is designed. I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with the unit. 5+ Stars.

Thorough cleaning in a lightweight package

Always on the hunt for doing things better yet easier and faster, the opportunity to try out the Shark - IONFlex DuoClean IF251 was a welcome experience.
Wait.
I'm naturally lazy when it comes to housework and want cleaning to go quickly easily and efficiently. This thing better work!
There, that's more like it.
In all seriousness, this is a very capable and compact vacuum cleaner; being cordless is a definite plus. In Rug Mode the cleaner basically propels itself forward [I literally had to hold it back] and, due to the pivoting arm, is easy to steer. The low profile makes it a snap to get under furniture that has a low clearance and the swinging arm allows easy access under furniture with a taller clearance height.
My cleaning cycles have never outlasted a battery charge; having 2 batteries guarantees I'll rarely if ever have to quit vacuuming while a battery recharges.
The only downsides are that the dust bin is small and the cleaning width is roughly 8 inches making for more required passes to clean a given area more than with a wider vacuum. The small dirt bin means frequent emptying and the brushes and filters must be maintained more often than my full-sized vac [although main brush has a crevice that makes it easy to cut wrapped up hair fibers for removal]. Shark designers did a good job of making the brushes, bin and filters very easy to access and replace.
Whether on carpet, rug or bare flooring, a single pass picked up any material [pet hair, food crumbs, dirt tracked in from outside, etc. in its path. Speaking of which, the headlight is bright and focused and lights the cleaning path handily.
For storage, the top section folds forward to make a compact unit that is easy to put out of the way.
I find Shark products to be well thought out and built. No exception here; this vac does a great job [the included attachments are helpful] and a great value.

Note that I have not yet let the Roomba run for a complete cleaning cycle so can't accurately estimate a whole house vacuuming time-frame nor how much of the house it will access [single-story house here]. It's somewhat fun to watch it go through its paces, though; given the clearance vertically and horizontally it will go anywhere and, occasionally, require being lifted and moved to continue cleaning.
I've tried to determine it's cleaning "logic" but have not been able to detect any patterns as it will re-vacuum previously cleaned areas multiple times. Bottom line: It cleans well whether on carpet, rugs or hardwood. The attached shows a section of rug that defeats it's ability to run normally and the instructions do say dark surfaces can be problematic but I have another all-black runner that the Roomba cleans with no problems. As you would with any vacuum, pick stuff up off the floor!
I like the app [Android here] - it's basic, does what I need [configure Roomba for WiFi, control it, schedule cleanings]. The included virtual wall barrier works perfectly keeping the unit out of designated areas.
The dust bin is smallish out of necessity but the bin, filter and brushes are easy to clean so figure on much more frequent maintenance than a regular vacuum.
I'm not getting rid of my [insert brand here] upright just yet though...but for now it's definitely growing on me.

Powerful, flexible but can be a little messy

Nice grinder! It has multiple grind settings, you can fill the bean reservoir and grind a single or multiple cups [I've tried 8 max so far] and it's fast as well as an attractive appliance. I like this grinder so much I'm going to spring for an espresso maker [I'm a French press or drip brew coffee drinker.] to try that out.
2 caveats - after grinding your coffee, removing the ground coffee container allows any ground coffee remaining in the chute from bean holder to ground coffee holder to fall through.
Perhaps this was in the instructions and I missed it but do not remove the bean reservoir unless it is empty. Because if feeds freely to the grinder unit there is nothing to keep the beans from filling the space between the grinder unit and the area above where the beans feed from the reservoir.
My verdict? A great flexible grinder with plenty of power, a reasonably-sized ground coffee holder and a couple of minor points w easy workarounds. Thumbs up!

I've always liked Linksys routers because they have consistently provided the reliability and functionality I've sought over the long-term while requiring minimal attention. Now, the AC4000 I've based my home network upon has only been setup a short period but I don't have any doubts that it provides the best coverage in my house at the best speeds and will do so for a long time.
After trying out extenders, multiple-node systems etc. I'm back to the single router world. My house has its problem spots and I've yet to find a better router than the AC4000 in getting a good signal to the far reaches etc. I don't tend to mess around with a router after setting up password, SSIDs, etc. even though there are several options. I just need a reliable signal wherever I am and this AC4000 delivers!

Is there room to install an additional SSD?
These is a single free SATA port and an empty 3.5" bay with a sled. With an adapter of some sort you can add another SSD while retaining the 2TB HD.

Is there a difference using a gsync or freesync monitor with this machine?
Freesync is for an AMD GPU, Nvidia cards will not utilize it [which is not to say you cannot use a Freesync monitor with this box, you can].
