One of the main things I look for with headphones is comfort. Sound quality diminishes if the fit is not snug. Battery life is nothing if I cannot wear it for a good amount of time. The G733 is very comfortable. It only has two settings—the vertical sliding cups and the headband which makes it so easy to adjust. So just slap it on and I’m always ready-to-go.
Connectivity is easy and stable – I always liked the dongle for some reason, only because Bluetooth connectivity fails and I have to troubleshoot every time. This type of connection makes it easy.
Transmission quality is seamless. On other headphones, I have an issue with screen transitions on different games, especially when the cut scenes load up on big games. This device keeps up with the transitions and there are no drop outs. Regarding sound quality, it is not impressive—meaning I get this from other units. However, it is not sloppy either. I would say, dependable is the word—and that’s all I need when I’m actually out gaming.

The headphones themselves are built solid—they are plastic but they don’t feel flimsy. However, the cups cannot be opened sideways, which can be very useful when someone tries to talk to you (who is not gaming). But like I mentioned earlier, the headphones, once set are so easy to put on and take out—without messing up your adjustments. If in any case you need to mute, it just requires some getting used to—there are different sound cues when you press the mute button so you need to know what sound it makes when you are muted or when you are not.
Maybe best part of this is the Logitech Hub—this is where you can integrate all your customizations and integrations with your other Logi devices. I do not go as far as tweaking my audio settings per game but the software is good with that and I am sure is a good-to-have for a lot of gamers.
Back to dependability though, I also tried this on zoom meetings. It’s really very reliable and I asked for feedback from people I met with, and they say that it is clear, like I am beside them (not that it is noticeable but it was a solicited feedback I had to acquire). And I think this is what I mean by these headphones. The performance is consistent and these are very dependable. For whatever I use it with, I don’t want to miss that one word when someone asks me to run, or when someone mentions an important point in a meeting—because that can mean life or death on the battlefield, or being on top of my career. Either way, these headphones are reliable and I like it.

Power WHERE you need it.

This is a good power back up device. Recently, our utilities company advised us of a possible outage because of the excessive heat warning. So I had this connected to my work-from-home set up.
Two 4K 27 inch monitors, a laptop, a phone charger, plus it was charging two gaming laptops. I tried taking the plug out and for 45 minutes, I had continuous power coming from the back up device. Of course the two gaming laptops were not being used but were still charging-- and my whole workstation was working like everything was plugged in. That gave me peace-of-mind knowing I won't have sudden interruptions if outages happen, especially when I am at meetings while working from home.

I also used it for one of my main outlets that get some fluctuations every so often. I discovered that the outlet was faulty. This device has an indicator for faulty wiring, so that's a great to have as well.
Also, I have this TV by the dining that we hardly use because we have to pull out a long cord just to power it up. I tried this device there too, without any other source of power but the device itself. I was able to power a 50 inch TV plus a chromecast for 2 hours.
So I guess it is not just a good back-up power contingency-- it can be a real source of power where you need it, for a good amount of time. It is reliable and I think every household should have one.

It's a vloggers dream video camera.
But you know what the real test is? I had our 5 year old take videos and play with it. The result:
The stability is phenomenal. We're talking about a 5 year old running around and taking videos here. She would run, change subject and focus-- the stability is impressive.
Autofocus is great too. She made this video talking about her barbie and pretending she's having tea with her. Once she puts the barbie on the foreground, the focus adjusts. Also, I am not sure what setting it was, but she had a video where she was talking while playing, and the focus remained on the set foreground even though her sister kept walking in front of her. So focusing is effective whther it is fixed or avoiding blurry subjects.
The audio, to mention, is top notch. The TV in her room was loud. But as she was discussing the details of her tea time, her voice is clear with the background still audible and not upstaging her sound. The sound zooms in n the subject too and that is huge for me.
There is so much to say about this camera, and it suits the most "disorganized" videographer. What more if you're a hobbyist or a pro?
Goodjob Sony. I am more than satisfied.

A cable to a compact dock!

This is a great addition to my Surface Pro. Since I do not have an HDMI port, but only 2 USB-Cs, this comes in handy.
It acts like a portable dock. Besides me now having an HDMI port, the USB-C port in the cable allows me to also charge, not just my USB-C peripherals but my actual laptop. So for my work-from-elsewhere set up that I use only one monitor, I bring it with me and have an easy set up anywhere.
The HDMI signal is clear; there is no question there. I think the main plus is, the cable quality itself. I had similar USBC to USB A / SD Card cables before, but the plug is a little flimsy and the wire is too hard. This one has a nice flex in the wire that does not put pressure on my USB-C port.
I think this is a must-have for all WFH people who want simple and clean set ups for their home offices, especially for those who do not have HDMI ports in their newer slimmer laptop models.

Here comes the next generation of PAs!

As a part-time musician, I have used several PAs. Usually the controls come from a mixer or the PA itself has basic dials and a couple of inputs. This PA outdos others I have ever experienced.
1) It is compact enough. I have a compact one too and this one is comparable in the ease of carrying. The added medal in this deice though is the REMOVABLE BATTERY. I guess you can buy extra to keep you going for those full day events or camping trips.
2) It is flexible meaning you have ample inputs PLUS and you can daisy chain it too. I used it for a guitar and mic set-up, outdoor projector sound, karaoke, and simple Bluetooth music. This PA is very dynamic and can be used for multiple functions.
3) The digital mixer in the form of the app is very helpful. Again, I think this is one of the winning pieces of this PA. Other PAs are plug and play but this one, part of how you can use it for multiple functions, paired with the app, makes it so much adaptable to your specific use.
4) Lastly, the sound: Unlike me, don’t be discouraged by the sound quality of the PA at first use. The initial sound straight from the box has a lot to be desired. Compared to more simple PAs, this one needs dial-tweaking, but I guess that’s where the flexibility comes in. You have to tweak it to get the optimal sound. With it tweaked, I can say the crispness of the sound and the wholeness of the volume is up there—not very impressive but still up there. So for something that has a lot in its belt, I’d say the value of this JBL is great!

Friends close, enemies closer

3 kids in a house is no joke. Managing their online activity, especially at summer with stay-at-home orders is no joke either. We parents know we need to work and we need to manage kids activity at the SAME TIME. In our household, we do not live ideally—there is a lot of screentime. This is where Circle comes in really handy in helping “parent” a 7, 6 and 5 year old.
Box opening and getting it hooked up is easy. The one that had some complexity is the app set up and navigation. I happen to be familiar with technology, so navigating tech should be easy. But I had to find my comfort navigating through the app. Honestly, it’s not a non-techie person’s app. I’m sure my mom or my partner will require patience to figure it out. In that sense, it is a little overwhelming for others, I would say, to set up. However, once I figured out how to do it, it was easy. Set up eldest and the right age settings, add devices, done and next.
Activity tracking, CHECK.
Limit internet time and bedtime scheduling, CHECK.

It even has the reward system, to add time to those who “deserve” it. Perfect tool for helping instill brownie points mindset with the kids. Honestly, EVERY PARENT SHOULD GET IT. I cannot stress it enough. I can let them keep watching good media and make sure I track and block the bad ones—it’s keeping “friends” close and your “enemies” closer. I fear my eldest boy may see inappropriate things at this age, and there is no space for risk. At the same time, I make sure youngest girl sees parent-recommended media. This is us doing our due diligence in this digital era. If you need to hire someone to get it set up for you, do it, but do it. I highly recommend.

It's a "Cutie-ful" Fridge!

It is everything you expect a fridge to be. It keeps our beverages cold. That's already a big check on your list, for a compact fridge.
It is compact enough to be placed anywhere. I placed it by our patio where it can be hot at times (not under the sun, but hot 90 degree California summer hot) and it still keeps the drinks and snack inside nice and cool.
The best feature this one has though is, of course, its LOOK. It is beautifully made! The retro look is spot-on: its shape adds character to the room I placed it on, its shade of green is surprisingly popping but subtle and that handle just adds the right touch to the whole aesthetic. The fridge itself brings character to the whole place!
It is a compact fridge. It is cute and beautiful-- I have never put those two words to describe anything except on this fridge, because it is truly Cutie-ful!

Gone are the days of having to “budget” my wine drinking because I don’t want bottles to go to waste. Either I end up drinking more or I drink less because I won’t be able to finish a bottle (yes, I unfortunately do not have that skill). This Coravin makes me enjoy my bottles, at my own pace, especially at these days when people cannot really come over and I end up drinking over zoom gatherings.
It is not common for anyone to use this, so for me, it took some figuring out when I first opened it. Luckily instructions are easy to understand, as long as you pay attention. The labels, and descriptions are helpful (especially when looking at certain ends, like the correct gas tank end, for example). Those are very important for a product that I was not familiar yet.
Now everything is easy and I can enjoy wine when I please. There are some cabernets though that I am more familiar with taste-wise, that I noticed are more robust when I use the Coravin. So I learned how to wait and air them out a bit if I want the taste that I am more accustomed to. Otherwise, this is such a great device and any wine drinker should have at home.
To wine drinkers, I recommend 10000000000000x!

Real surround with the right space

I placed this soundbar on two spaces— a small-to-medium sized room (around 60 sq ft)with a 55 inch TV and one open living room space with an 86 inch TV.
On the smaller space, with the 55 inch TV, the soundbar sounded great. The sound impact was very engaging and the sub was overpowering. I did hear really good stereo effects however, I could not experience much surround dynamics—it was like any other soundbar.
On the bigger space, this Sony soundbar was a little soft, like I was waiting for the sound to get more immersive in some scenes. This experience is not just compared to the smaller room, but compared to the soundbar that is coupled with my 86 incher. The power is not enough, HOWEVER, with the wider space, I can hear the depth, height and direction throw of the sounds. With some Dolby Atmos animal habitat documentary going on, the dynamism of the sound was very distinct. It was like me having separate speakers in different corners of the room. It was some sort of sorcery placed in the speakers.
The subwoofer is something else too. I usually place my subwoofers beside the couch or beside the front console—on my usual setup, it was like any other subwoofer. THEN, I tried placing the subwoofer a little way behind the couch, on the room corner and it enhanced the whole experience—like it helped make the surround experience more prominent.
In terms of connections, it is very easy. The interface and directions are easy to understand and the HDMI linking makes it sync with my TV remote, so at least, the volume is manageable. To experience its different settings though, I have to keep the actual sound bar remote beside me to switch modes.
On both set ups, small and big, the voice is crisp. I just think this soundbar has to be in the right space to maximize its qualities. I say, this will be great in a medium-sized room with height and good depth to experience what it has to offer. In a big space, this soundbar lacks power. Don’t get me wrong, again, when I can hear the distinct sounds, I can really feel a bird flutter from my top back left to my top front. I don’t think I have experienced this kind of space distinction in a sound bar (and I’ve had many). I am 100% sure though, in the right space, this soundbar will excel.

I have long waited for one gaming machine that can do everything. You can get gaming power at the expense of portability. You can buy a nice laptop but can only do worksheets. This one does not just strike a balance—it does well on all fronts.
It is pretty laptop. I am 40 who appreciates games but do not want to be seen lugging around a fridge to the café. This laptop is gorgeously slim and reasonably-sized. The design of the white shell, matched with the aluminum base is very tasteful. The edges are subtly curved but the lines are crisp. The look is so modern and stylish, I will bring this to the boardroom.
Now for something this pretty, it surprisingly packs a lot under the hood. Never mind the specs, I think it is a dream machine on paper—what matters is how it actually performs. Fortnite on Epic settings, 90FPS while farming, dropping 66FPS on a crazy Save The World packed 4-man. Forza Horizon 4 averages 95-100FPS on races, 65 on cut scenes and 48 on real world roaming; on ULTRA settings. Kingdom Come: Deliverance, highest settings with a steady 60FPS with the landscaping and nature flowing smooth as butter. Now these games, especially the last two, are very graphics-heavy. I think those alone will tell you, this is one heck of a machine. I also tried connecting an external monitor to the HDMI port as I played, no difference in performance—so far, very good.
Here are some hits and misses to note: fingerprint sensor is very responsive, the keys are adequately spaced and the softness of the clicks are feels right to the touch. The keyboard lighting though is a little off—it is a little hard to see at a certain angle. The speakers are not that impressive either, it actually is a little soft. The fan is like any other gaming laptop’s, so that’s okay. While the battery, at full performance, unplugged lasts a little over 1.5 hours. It does not have a camera either. But think of it this way, we all use headsets or earphones, play plugged to the wall because we don’t want to lose power in the middle of a raid, and do not really rely on our laptop camera if we stream.
So given all these, I think the best part of this laptop is the whole package. Sure, it is not the best in everything, but it hits the right buttons. Come to think of it, this laptop talks to me—it is exactly what I need. I do not need to pay more for high quality speakers or a battery that lasts 8 hours because that not how I play. This laptop knows how we all play. And we all know, it’s all about how we can keep going at the best framerates with the most true-to-life graphic settings, while we keep a stealthy pretty laptop because we don’t want to look like that person who sleeps on his mother’s couch.

Here are some hits and misses to note: fingerprint sensor is very responsive, the keys are adequately spaced and the softness of the clicks are feels right to the touch. The keyboard lighting though is a little off—it is a little hard to see at a certain angle. The speakers are not that impressive either, it actually is a little soft. The fan is like any other gaming laptop’s, so that’s okay. While the battery, at full performance, unplugged lasts a little over 1.5 hours. It does not have a camera either. But think of it this way, we all use headsets or earphones, play plugged to the wall because we don’t want to lose power in the middle of a raid, and do not really rely on our laptop camera if we stream.
So given all these, I think the best part of this laptop is the whole package. Sure, it is not the best in everything, but it hits the right buttons. Come to think of it, this laptop talks to me—it is exactly what I need. I do not need to pay more for high quality speakers or a battery that lasts 8 hours because that not how I play. This laptop knows how we all play. And we all know, it’s all about how we can keep going at the best framerates with the most true-to-life graphic settings, while we keep a stealthy pretty laptop because we don’t want to look like that person who sleeps on his mother’s couch.
This is the laptop I have been waiting for. It is a beauty, and for sure it is also a beast!`

Can this run fortnite in epic settings
yes it can. it did have some occasional hiccups on mine though-- i have an 7th gen i5, 16gb memory and a 1050ti. the hiccups was not bad but it is noticeable. if you have better specs than mine, i'm sure it will be great.
