If you watched the first Machete, this for the most part is more of the same... bloody action and a odd fascination with intestines although there use is creative of course. Not the kind of movie that will win many awards, at least not like Oscars anyway. If you liked the first one you'll probably enjoy this one as well.

Rebel Without A Cause is simply put, one of the best movies of all time in my opinion. James Dean and his supporting cast did an outstanding job. If you haven't already seen this film then you are missing out.... if you have seen it, you know exactly what I'm talking about!

When I first heard about Nebraska I wasn't sure if it was something I'd enjoy but eventually I decided to check it out and turned out it was a good decision. Shot entirely in black & white, this film follows what a determined Woody (Bruce Dern) will do to collect what he thinks is a million dollar prize. His son Dave (Will Forte) decides the only way his dad is going to give up on this mission is to just take his dad to Nebraska to collect the prize. While on their way to Nebraska they have a few adventures including a visit with family that they hadn't been to see in a number of years. This movie is bout funny and sad and is definitely worth taking a look at, if you want to view a good movie, Nebraska is the movie for you!
For the most part Draft Day is a decent football related movie. What the movie might lack in story it makes up for in acting by having a pretty decent cast. Really about the only issue I had with the movie was the ending, it was on the unrealistic side as was the initial trade deal but overall its a movie I'll watch again when I'm in the mood for some football during the off season (unless I go with Invincible instead). For me it was a good popcorn movie which is a movie that you can look past a few of the issues it might have and just enjoy it while sitting and enjoying some fresh popcorn and a cold beverage.
Batman Begins was definitely a step up from the prior few Batman movies... darker and more enjoyable like Batman and Batman Returns were. Christian Bale excelled in the role and its really to bad that he's not returning to the role for upcoming movie with Superman. While the original Batman is probably still my favorite, this one rates up there although The Dark Knight was my favorite of this trilogy. Definitely worth seeing if you are into superhero movies, assuming you haven't seen it already.

Bad Words was an enjoyable film for first time director Jason Bateman. Playing the lead role in the movie, Jason gives the character the brashness that the title suggest. Obviously as the title suggest there are some bad words in the movie, I think Jason managed to get most of them in the movie. If you are a fan of dark or raunchy humor you'll most likely enjoy this movie, if you don't like that kind of humor you might want to skip this one.
As far as reboots go, RoboCop is a decent one. Like with Total Recall a few years back, RoboCop really doesn't have a lot of similarities to its predecessor other then character names and OmniCorp being the same and that a Detroit police officer becomes RoboCop. The original will always be a classic in my mind, with that said, I had fun and enjoyed this update. Lots of action and some cool effects make this one worth a watch.

Lone Survivor is about Marcus Luttrell, a member of a Seal team sent in to a war zone to find and do some surveillance on a presumed terrorist. Of the 4 members sent in, Luttrell ends up being the only one that survives... this movie portrays all the stuff that happened to Luttrell and his team while on the mission. Its sad to see the loss of life but when in the military, its one of the very possible realities that soldiers face on a daily basis.
This album from Rubicon Cross is easily one of the best rock albums to come out in quite some time. From the opening of Locked and Loaded to the end of All The Little Things, Rubicon Cross delivers a nicely paced album. The musicians that make up Rubicon Cross add to what make this CD so great... CJ Snare and Chris Green's friendship is what brought the band together and what a great partnership it has become.... Simon Farney, Robert Behnke and Jeff Lerman-Bones round out the rest of the band. Having attended their only live show to date (many more are to come), not only are they good in the studio, they are great in a live setting too! Do yourself a favor, pick up this CD first and when Rubicon Cross comes to your town, grab a ticket and head down to the show!!
A well rounded cast tells the story of the infamous ABSCAM scandal of the late 70's. Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams do a great job as does Jennifer Lawrence. The movie is a little long and it doesn't hurt if you have a little bit of interest in that era, some people will get bored with it.
