Great film, one of my top 10 comedies of all time. The only issue is the film frame & dialog cuts because existing master is rough. Hopefully someday a better print will show up. But until then, don't rob yourself of a film with some of the biggest laughs ever!

What's not so great: Existing Master has significant damage

The Taxi Season Four DVD set is plagued with edits from music clearances not attained. The episode Vienna Waits omits Billy Joel's Vienna Waits for which the episode was named. Also the end of Elegant Iggy is abruptly chopped short because Paramount decided to edit the show rather than clear the song Jim plays on the piano. Avoid this release.

What's not so great: Music edits

The wackiest season of Gilligan's Island re released on single sided discs, with a commentary & documentary ported over from original release. The only drawback is plastic case is spindle type, with discs stacked on top of each other. Great price, replace the case.

Boo Sony for making season six of Rules of Engagement a MOD release instead of pressing discs. I stopped buying season sets of this series for this reason. Hopefully Sony will do a complete series set and press the final seasons.

Season Three as stated above is my favorite season of Xena. Although no extras this release has a play all option unlike the previous Anchor Bay release. Many prefer the slim packaging over the older box. I just wish the "Battle On" episode promos had been included. And I wish the end credits had the Creation video montage as originally aired instead of the titles over black as featured. Still a great deal for a great show.

The re-release of Season Two of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century is great for two reasons. One, unlike the previous release it is on single-sided discs. The other reason is the two part version of Awakening is available for the first time on dvd in this set. Bravo to Universal for including it!

Shout! Factory releases another season of the Saturday Night classic Fantasy Island. Like the other seasons this one has a plethora of great guest stars, my favorite being the luscious Adrienne Barbeau, returning for her second stint on the island. DE PLANE!!!

I am a big fan of the 1973 film version of The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, but before the John Travolta/Denzel Washington remake, there was this made for television gem starring Edward James Olmos and Vincent D'Onofrio. I am ecstatic it has finally been released, available for the first time on dvd, paired with the John Voight/ Eric Roberts classic Runaway Train, both for a great low price. 2 great train films filled with action and suspense, highly recommended.

What's not so great: I already own Runaway Train, Pelham only available in this collection. No extras.
