Mill Creek releases 6 Three Stooges movies on 2 discs for a low Price. The highlight of the set is Time Out For Rhythm, which was only available before as an overpriced manufacture on demand (MOD) disc. This film alone is worth the price of the set. The only drawback is Mill Creek put three films per disc and there are compression issues, but if you don't mind the lesser quality, a great deal. Hopefully there will be a blu ray release soon. Highly recommended for Time Out For Rhythm.

The complete series of Underdog meticulously reconstructed by the good people of Shout Factory is a welcome dvd addition. All episodes including Go Go Gophers and Commander McBragg are included, as well as all original music! There are some changes in quality throughout, but an nice job piecing together the shows as originally aired with remaining elements. There are some dnr complaints, but I didn't think there was anything distracting or noticeable. Highly recommended.

The early Police videos were fun romps, much like a blonde trio version of The Monkees, only with significantly greater musical talent. Great collection, the only drawback is some of the endings were clipped, and a couple of videos were not included in the set.

Walter Hill's intriguing retelling of the James family saga comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible, and the English soundtrack is closed captioned. Supplemental materials are limited to the original theatrical trailer. This film does have a cult following, making its appearance on DVD welcome, but the lack of extras is a bit frustrating. This is a solid release from MGM/UA, who deserve credit for releasing this quirky title.

MGM release of the Walter Hill classic The Long Riders with the real life Keach, Carradine, Quaid, and Guest brothers. Only extra is a trailer and no English subtitles, although it is close captioned which HDMI is not compatible.

Season four features the mustached bionic man back again. Another fun season, as stated above the only drawback, the first three seasons were released in slim cases, this is a wider case so it doesn't look uniform on the shelf with the other seasons.

2 great Peter Fonda films, the feature length car chase Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry, and the horror classic Race with The Devil. I just wish they were stand alone releases instead of a double feature so I purchase the out of print Anchor Bay versions which have the same transfers.

A troubled man decides to become a superhero. Great film, a more adult version of Kick A**, but much better. Great performances , great script, real emotion, just a wonderful film. Highly recommended.

Demetrius and the Gladiators, the sequel to the Robe, is a great Gladiator epic, better than most. Under appreciated, and great fun. Picture quality is good for the film's age. Joey, do you like gladiator movies? If you haven't seen it, see it now!

Canadian cult director Bruce McDonald spins this slick noir-thriller about an innocent outsider caught up in the gritty underworld of Toronto. After narrowly escaping her East End Montréal apartment getting torched by a sadistic motorcycle gang, Claire (Juliette Lewis) flees for Toronto where she believes her long lost lover Billy can help her out. Unfortunately, she knows no one else in the city, since Billy is no where to be found, and she does not speak a word of English. She soon encounters sleazy gangster Eddie (Mickey Rourke) and his tough-as-nails moll, Lily (Gina Gershon), who try to draw her into their sleazy business manners. When one of the deals turns ugly, Claire is forced to flee for her life into the heart of the city. This film was screened at the 2001 Toronto Film Festival.

I am a fan of Gina Gershon so I picked up this relatively unknown gem, and really enjoyed it. Juliette Lewis is great only speaking French in a very peculiar role. Gina Gershon has never looked better, a lot of great close up shots, she is a true beauty, and talented actress. Fun thriller, I just wish it was presented in widescreen format, information is missing on the sides. See it anyway, it's bargain priced.

I am a big fan of the 1973 film version of The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, but before the John Travolta/Denzel Washington remake, there was this made for television gem starring Edward James Olmos and Vincent D'Onofrio. I am ecstatic it has finally been released, available for the first time on dvd, paired with the John Voight/ Eric Roberts classic Runaway Train, both for a great low price. 2 great train films filled with action and suspense, highly recommended.
