The Blendtec - Designer Series 8-Speed Blender - Stainless is impressive right out of the box. It is well built and has a sturdy weighted feel. The bottom has a silicone or hard rubber foundation that adheres to the surface to prevent any movement while in use. The power of the Blendtec - Designer Series 8-Speed Blender - Stainless is phenomenal. The programmable cycles provide ease of operation and the ability to make recipes error free. They are all easily displayed on a digital touch area. I can make batters, smoothies, whole juices, ice cream, and soups and crush ice. I can also pulse the motor for manual control to chop or liquefy and I can use the slider feature to manually increase or decrease the blender’s speed. One problem that I had was trying to figure out the amount of fluid necessary to make whole juice and smoothies the right texture. Each recipe must be tweaked a little bit to achieve your specific taste requirements, because the motor is so powerful. Once, I learn the specifics of using the Blendtec - Designer Series 8-Speed Blender - Stainless, it will definitely become the best automatic blender that I ever owned.

Earbuds worth having!

The JLab Audio - Epic Air True Wireless Earbud Headphones - Black at first use has a Bluetooth connection that creates skips and cut outs of the sound. The right and left Earbuds are not synchronized properly, at first use and produce audio not in unison. By downloading the JLab Audio App from the Google Play store, I was able to “season or marinate” the Earbuds by using a process named Burn-in Tool. The Burn-in tool is supposed to loosen the diaphragm and stress the headphone driver, which will improve the sound quality. The Burn-in process takes a total of 40 hours during a week for 5-8 hours a day. The problem I find with this process is that the earbuds on several occasions disconnected from my Google Pixel phone, thereby ending the Burn-in process on their own.
These earbuds have smart technology that is supposed to make them become more adaptable to its environment and usage pattern. After three days of using the Burn-in Tool and basic usage my earbuds still skipped and had broken audio between both earbuds some of the time.
It comes with a charging case for charging the earbuds or any device that accepts a USB charging port. The problem with the charging case is that the earbuds do not fit snuggly inside the case, unless the case is snapped closed. During charging, the earbuds are supposed to display a slow pulsing blue light, but the earbuds do not snap in secure enough to make contact with the chargers connectors. Therefore, I cannot see the pulsing blue lights to verify the charging process is working. The instructions warn against any prying of the ear hooks to avoid damage to the antenna. So by closing the case, I cannot see if the earbuds are charging. After I took them out from the case, they still said low battery. I cannot figure out how to know when the earbuds are charged at full capacity.
Pairing to Bluetooth is simple and the basic Bluetooth format. I picked one earbud to pair first as the main earbud, based on the side of my body where my device will be positioned. Then, I connected my main earbud to my second earbud. I was also able to enable the auto power on feature that lets my earbuds power on and connect right out of the charging case. I can advance musical tracks or go back to a previous track by tapping on the right earbud. Increasing volume is control by the right earbud. Tapping on the left earbud starts or stops the music track and answers the phone. Decreasing volume is controlled by the left earbud. Making calls through the voice technology is a little iffy, because sometimes it gets my command wrong. It will pick a name similar to my command. In the final analysis, these earbuds are worth having.

The Ultimate Ears - BLAST Smart Portable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Speaker with Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant - Blue Steel is a device that I could not get up and running at 100%. I had to call customer service to address my concerns, but the representative was not knowledgeable enough to solve my problems. First, I downloaded the Ultimate Ears app and followed the step by step instructions to complete setup. Second, I signed into my Amazon account to connect with Alexa voice control. Third, I downloaded the Amazon Alexa app as recommended. I asked simple commands such as, what is the time and weather? The answers were stated correctly by the Blast speaker. Problems arose when I tried to get it to play music from my Google Pixel and from Tunein. No sound was produced from the Blast; even though I saw the playback icon fluctuate that meant the song was playing. The second day I tried to test it out, I said Alexa play Tunein. It connected to Tunein, without any problem. When I said Alexa stop playing music, Blast kept on playing music. The only way I could stop the music playing was by shutting down the Blast completely. All problems with the Ultimate Ears - BLAST Smart Portable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Speaker with Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant - Blue Steel come from the syncing with Amazon Alexa. Using the Ultimate Ears - BLAST Smart Portable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Speaker with Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant - Blue Steel strictly as a Bluetooth device works fine. I can tap on Blast under my Blutooth settings and connect my Google Pixel phone and then I can play music from any installed app. If Amazon Alexa can work perfectly with Blast, then the Blast experience would be fantastic. The volume is tremendous, but I was not able to find out how to create more bass. The potential of the Blast is great, once Alexa is properly synchronized.

The plus symbol can increase the volume and the minus symbol can decrease the volume. The Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Blue/dark blue allows me to use my voice to command my phone to make calls without dialing the keypad. I can also redial a phone number by double pressing on the on/off button. The Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Blue/dark blue has a voice assistant that tells me what the power of the battery is and tells me if my pairing with devices is successful. Pairing with my device was as easy as just turning on the Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 305 Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Blue/dark blue and then tapping on its name when I saw it under my devices Bluetooth settings. The volume is loud enough to satisfy any music listener. The range of the Bluetooth is ten meters which is more than enough distance to transmit music or audio. A Top of the Line Security Device!

Arlo - Pro 2 Security Camera System, 2-Camera Kit, Wire-Free, 1080p, Weather Proof, Indoor/Outdoor - White is an excellent piece of home security. Setting the system up was simple. All I needed to do was to connect the Base Station to my router and then to a power supply and then sync my cameras with the Base Station. After that initial process, I went to the Google Play store to download the Arlo App. The Arlo App allows me to configure the system as I see necessary to achieve the highest level of security. There are tutorial videos, troubleshooting tips and support from the Arlo website. The cameras can be placed on a level surface or attached to an Arlo magnetic mount that secures the camera at an angle or on a wall.
When motion is detected, I get an email stating that Arlo has detected motion on one of my cameras and here are the details. The details Arlo sends are a video in color of what is on camera and the date and time of the incident. The clarity of the Arlo cameras is magnificent. There appears to be a five second delay from camera transmission to my phone, but that fact is insignificant. The video is amazingly clear and defined. No home intruder would justifiably be able to say that he/she is not the person on Arlo’s video capture. Small scratches and small items appear larger and more defined than by looking at them with plain eyesight. The night vision appears to brighten the video so much that the clarity makes it look as though the video was captured with a lightened background. When the need arises to scare an intruder, the siren feature can be used. The siren feature is too noisy to ignore and would definitely create curiosity with people nearby. Also, I was able to speak on my phone and hear myself from the camera, which is what an intruder would hear! The Shark - ION ROBOT 720 Vacuum with optional scheduled cleaning is a great robot vacuum.I had to condition the battery for first time use by giving it a full charge before any use and then allowing it to completely drain. A blue light indicator flashes during charging and reduces bars as power discharges during use. While charging the battery, I programmed the Shark - ION ROBOT 720 Vacuum with optional scheduled cleaning, by using the remote control. I set the date and time which then made it able to program cleaning throughout the week at various times of the day. The programming process is simple to do and becomes easily repetitive.
I turned on the Shark - ION ROBOT 720 Vacuum with optional scheduled cleaning manually by pressing the clean button on the vacuum, pressing the clean button on the remote aimed at the vacuum, and scheduling for the automatic operation of the vacuum. The Shark - ION ROBOT 720 Vacuum with optional scheduled cleaning does a good job of maneuvering around an apartment. It spends a thorough amount of time cleaning each new area or room it enters. When I emptied the dust bin, I was surprised by the amount of pick up that the Shark - ION ROBOT 720 Vacuum with optional scheduled cleaning had done. It was able to also go up a small elevation to clean my bathroom. Maintenance instructions are straightforward and easy to do.
There are boundary strips included to block the Shark - ION ROBOT 720 Vacuum with optional scheduled cleaning from traveling into unwanted areas. A Good Hand Blender, but accessories are needed!

Philips - Avance Collection ProMix Hand Blender - Black is a basic hand blender that can blend liquids, soft ingredients, puree cooked ingredients and chop nuts. It works by simply applying pressure on top of whatever food you are preparing, while also moving the blender from side to side. It has enough power to grind soft ingredients well. The only problem that I have become aware of is the lack of needed accessories to make different types of processed meals. There are four additional accessories needed in order to maximize the full potential of the Philips - Avance Collection ProMix Hand Blender. They are the Whisk, Double mixer, Potato masher, and the XL Chopper with Multichopper accessory. Without these accessories, I am limited in the recipes that I can make. In spite of not having any accessory, the Philips - Avance Collection ProMix Hand Blender is a great kitchen tool to have in my kitchen.

Takes three weeks to work efficiently

Philips Shaver 5550 S5590/81- There is no way to fully critique this shaver after using it for a few times. Upon reading the instruction manual, it states that there is a twenty-one day trial and conversion process necessary for my skin to adjust to the new shaver. It also states that not getting a close shave at first is part of the process of the adjustment period. Also, it states longer hair should be trimmed first, before using the shaver. So a pair of scissors was needed to trim my beard a little bit. With that being said, I dry shaved my beard, neck and facial areas. The manual’s statements were totally accurate, with respect to smoothness of the shaver’s final outcome. The skin does become a little irritated with redness and the initial shaves are not that smooth. It works as a shaver should, but when I run my hand across the shaved areas at different angles I can feel unseen hair. The power of the shaver seems a bit weak and the full charge only last for one hour. After using the first day to shave on a full charge of three bars, the next day it was at two bars of power. I really cannot trash the shaver, because it takes three weeks of skin adjustment to truly critique the shaver. It does everything that the instruction manual claims it can do, the only discrepancy is the time necessary to assimilate to its use.

My critique of the Audio Pro - Addon T3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker - White is one of excellence. The first noticeable trait was the weight, when taking it out of the box, I could immediately notice how heavy and compact it is. It is constructed of steel or some type of metal. It is well built and the way it is constructed will allow it to last for decades. I had to charge it for about ninety minutes to get a full charge. Pairing with my devices was easy as just waiting to see the Audio Pro - Addon T3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker show up on the screen after pressing search and then tap on it to pair. The sound is rich and strong, produced by three speakers. The woofer in the middle supplies deep bass frequencies, while the two tweeters give the higher octaves necessary to make music sound complete. The Audio Pro - Addon T3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a sturdy and functional system worth having.
