Impressive right out of the box.

The Epson - EX3260 SVGA 3LCD Projector - White is a lightweight portable projector that was impressive right after opening the box. I first noticed the cute briefcase that the projector was packed into. It is waterproof and comes with an adjustable shoulder strap. I tried connecting the Epson - EX3260 SVGA 3LCD Projector - White to my Dell laptop with its USB cable and its VGA cable. Once I connected the Epson - EX3260 SVGA 3LCD Projector - White to my Dell laptop, installation began of the Epson USB projector drivers. I could not get the computers’ screen to project with the USB cable. Only the computers cursor arrow was projected. Using the VGA cable gave more positive results. My computer screen was projected completely. All Microsoft Office components (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.) are projected clearly with no bleeding of colors or fuzziness of lines.
The instructions are simple to read and after a short period of time, I had basic understanding of how to use the remote control and the projector buttons to operate certain functions. The picture is bright, clear, and very sharp. There are controls to make adjustments to the projected image. There is no bleeding of colors or dragging of images, by use of the projector. As a projector, it does create heat, but I do hear an exhaust fan inside. It has plugs for connecting every mainstream video device, to get a variety of usage from it. The volume is decent enough to fill an average size room. There is also a CD for viewing the full manual and registration of the projector. This is a great addition to any mobile audio/video entertainment setup.

The Linksys AC3000 Max-Stream Tri band Wi-Fi Range Extender biggest problem for me was just trying to get it to connect to my router. I could not get my Spectrum router’s WPS connection to work from merely pressing the WPS buttons on both devices. When I tried connecting by using the browser based setup, the pictures of available routers shown to click on did not include my RE9000 Model. I had to call Linksys for technical support. I was told to simply use the numerical web address, which worked perfectly and connected the Linksys AC3000 Max-Stream Tri band Wi-Fi Range Extender, without any problems. Once, the Linksys AC3000 Max-Stream Tri band Wi-Fi Range Extender was up and running, it maintained five bars in the area farthest away from the router. The spectrum router’s Wi-Fi bars diminish as the devices get further away from it, but the Linksys AC3000 Max-Stream Tri band Wi-Fi Range Extender maintains five Wi-Fi bars throughout the apartment. It has increased the connectivity amongst all of my Wi-Fi devices.

The Sony Stamina Wireless Headphones WHCH500/B will get no complaints from me. Right out of the box, they were already partially charged and therefore only required about an hour to become fully charged. The pictorial instructions are universally easy to comprehend. Connecting to my Bluetooth device required me to simply press the power button for 7 (seven) seconds to start the pairing process. The same power button pressed for 2 quickly times activates the voice activation feature to make calls with voice command. Receiving calls is done by pressing power/phone button. The volume control can also advance or go back to the previous music selection. The volume is sufficient for enjoyable listening, but there are no bass or treble controls. The ear pad material is soft enough for comfort, but is a bit small for my big ears. The Sony Stamina Wireless Headphones WHCH500/B is made for your basic everyday cruising around the city, when time for music is available.

My critique of the Sony STRDH190 2 Channel Audio Receiver 6187501 pertains only to the FM Tuner, Phonograph Function, and the Bluetooth Function. The FM Tuner is easy to select a channel for listening. I first did an automatic scan for channels. Channels found can be preset, for automatic tuning at a future time. The Phonograph Function did not work well at all. It could be my speakers or it could be the Sony STRDH190 2 Channel Audio Receiver 6187501, but the sound was distorted and unable to become clear. My turntable has no amplification; it only sends a signal to the Sony STRDH190 2 Channel Audio Receiver 6187501, which could not get the song to sound clear. At the volume level of only three, I could hear the static sound of the record. I tried making adjustments to the Sony STRDH190 2 Channel Audio Receiver 6187501, with the manual instructions without any success. The Bluetooth Function works perfectly and is easy to connect just by pressing a few buttons. The sound is clearly pure stereo phonics. The Bass and Treble levels are adjustable from pressing plus or minus buttons. The one-hundred watts produced by the Sony STRDH190 2 Channel Audio Receiver 6187501 is powerful enough to shake and vibrate the surrounding area. I could not increase the volume to its maximum level due to the fear of disturbing my neighbors. It is a power packed device.

The AVG Ultimate (Unlimited Devices) (1-Year Subscription) - Android|Mac|Windows was noticeably different right out of the box. There was no CD to insert into my computer’s CD Rom. There was only a piece of paper with a license key on it to use after opening www.avg.com/retail. I prefer to install directly from a CD, especially with a brand new computer.
After activation, AVG Ultimate notified me that I already had McAfee Antivirus and Malwarebytes installed on my computer and that I need to uninstall them both in order to operate AVG Ultimate fully. Otherwise AVG Ultimate will operate in passive mode, with limited functions available.

AVG Ultimate discovered performance issues, found browser data and outdated software that was resolved with AVG PC Tune Up. On the first initial maintenance run which consisted of fixing and cleaning files and/or folders: 581 Registry Issues found were fixed, 536 Broken Shortcuts issues found and deleted, 768.25MB System Cache & Logs found and then cleaned, 949.72 MB Browser Data cleaned, seven Startup & shutdown issues fixed, along with Disk Fragmentation. A deep scan found two threats and quarantined them for impending deletion.
Two programs that were outdated were updated and there is the ability to turn on auto update.Also, there is AVG disk doctor to scan for disk errors. Three devices can have great protection from online threats with this software.

The Malwarebytes 3.0 - Windows was noticeably different right out of the box. There was no CD to insert into my computer’s CD Rom. There was only a piece of paper with a license key on it to use after downloading Malwarebytes 3.0 from its Website. I prefer to install directly from a CD, especially with a brand new computer. Installation was done by logging on to the Malwarebytes website and clicking the download button. I received an initial 14-day free trial, once installed. There is a box in the upper right corner to insert the license key in order to redeem the one-year worth of subscribed services. The Malwarebytes 3.0 - Windows found a problem with my desktop computer right after its installation. I thought my computer was secure, because my McAfee Antivurus stated that fact. Upon my first scan with Malwarebytes 3.0 - Windows, twenty-five files were found and determined to be threats. The Malwarebytes 3.0 - Windows program allowed me to quarantine them and then delete them. I was able to schedule daily scans at a time of my choosing. One problem was the automatic Website exclusion of supposedly malicious Websites that blocked my valid Websites from opening. Website exclusion is the major problem, because after entering the domain or IP address of the supposedly malicious Website to exclude it from detection the Website still would not open.

A bit too technical, but great functionality!

My critique of the Epson - ProSense 17 GPS Running Watch - Black is as follows: First I had to charge the battery and then install the Epson View App on my phone. Creating an account on the Epson View App by scrolling month after month per year is too tedious instead of simply having blanks that the date could be quickly inserted into. After I created my account, the app gave instructions to follow in order to program the Epson - ProSense 17 GPS Running Watch - Black for its first use. Updating the date and time by GPS did not work indoors so I had to do it manually. Once outside and selecting the walk function, the GPS attempted to connect again. The GPS connected in approximately five minutes.
I tried to reopen the Epson View App after its first use, but it would not open. The app froze from functioning. The screen stayed on Epson View with the white background and kept timing out. I could not get back into the app to continue the programming of my Epson - ProSense 17 GPS Running Watch - Black. I had to shut down and restart my phone to get the Epson View app back open.
The Epson - ProSense 17 GPS Running Watch - Black with the Epson View app does monitor physical activities and calculate physical gains of improvement. The only problem that I have is learning how to use all of the many functions. The learning of the watch with the combination of the app can seem a bit overwhelming for a novice into physical fitness, but I am sure that a person knowledgeable of the fitness culture will have no problems in understanding all of the ins and outs of the Epson - ProSense 17 GPS Running Watch - Black.

Excellent device for entertainment

JBL - LINK 10 Smart Portable Bluetooth Speaker with the Google Assistant built in - Black is a great sounding device to have for playing audio. The volume is very loud and music plays clearly with all octaves being heard. Volume can be increased or decreased verbally or manually. I can start or stop the speaker’s audibility from working vocally or manually.
Even though it has a Bluetooth button for paring with devices, I did not need to use it. Once I powered it on, I simply opened the Google Home App and followed along as the App connected with the JBL - LINK 10 Smart Portable Bluetooth Speaker with the Google Assistant built in - Black. All I had to do was to keep pressing continue. The installed smart technology made it child’s play to get it up and running. The Bluetooth button does work for the manual pairing of devices without using the Google Home App.
Without my knowledge, the JBL - LINK 10 Smart Portable Bluetooth Speaker with the Google Assistant built in - Black automatically connected with my Google Pixel phone and displayed what it was doing and stated that I can view and manage my entire Google Account history from My Activity. It also notified me that a device on your Wi-Fi is casting Pandora. I can thereby control the JBL - LINK 10 Smart Portable Bluetooth Speaker with the Google Assistant built in - Black by speaking directly to it or using my Google pixel.
The Google Assistant worked perfectly, after I configured my voice with the JBL - LINK 10 Smart Portable Bluetooth Speaker with the Google Assistant built in - Black. I asked questions and received accurate answers. When I asked an improper question, the Google Assistant said, “I am not sure about your question, but I am getting smarter each day.” It really does have Artificial Intelligence that allows it to gain more knowledge about my intellectual needs and therefore customize itself to my mindset.
A great added feature is its water proof ability, making it a perfect device for the beach or swimming pool. It has light indicators to notify me of the strength of the battery, Wi-Fi connection, and volume increments.
