The HP Laser Jet M110we is a small form factor black and white wireless laser jet printer that works with both PCs and Macs. It is easy to setup and use. Because of its small footprint, it takes up very little desktop space and is essentially transportable from one location to another, if desired. In operation the M110we seemed fast and did not have any paper jams with its straight through paper handling. The printer is rated at 21ppm. In addition to the included HP141A toner, the printer also comes with 6 months of instant ink.
I highly recommend the M110we printer for anyone looking for a capable laser printer that’s takes up very little room and/or needs a small printer that can be transported from one location to another.

Precise and Works with Multiple Operating Systems

The Logitech POP Keys Keyboard with Customizable Emoji Keys is a nice looking and quality keyboard with a compact footprint. Although it may look playful, it is a mechanical tactile switch keyboard that allows you to communicate beyond the limitations of a standard QWERTY keyboard through the use of emojis and its included app. Also, the keyboard is able to be paired to up to 3 devices at a time through either Bluetooth or LogiBolt wireless making it useful in a multi device environment.
I used the keyboard with the Logitech POP mouse. The combination works well and creates a very useful and versatile arrangement especially for social uses. Versatile, Can use external Bluetooth Speakers

The Eastwood Signature Hybrid Victrola is a good looking and versatile record player that produces good sound with the internal speakers.
In addition to the internal speakers, it has the ability to use external bluetooth speakers for even better sound. This makes it great for parties, etc. When either more volume or better sound is desired. I have played several 78rpm vinyl records through external speakers and sound quality has been excellent. The victrola has a headphone jack and RCA connections for use with an amp.
You can also use the victrola as a bluetooth speaker itself for pairing your phone to play through the internal speakers. This very easy to set up and sound from my Android phone was very good.
If you have the need for a versatile and easy to use record player capable of playing 33, 45, and 78rpm vinyl, has speakers that can be used by other devices, and can be connected to external speakers for great sound, I recommend the Eastwood Signature Hybrid Victrola.

Large Screen, Android Apps, USB Charging, WiFi 6

The Acer Chromebook 317 is a 17.3”, touchscreen chromebook utilizing a Pentium Silver N6000 processor, 8GB memory, and 64GB of storage. The 317 runs the latest version of the Chrome operating system. A large screen is somewhat unusual for a Chromebook and the 317 claims to have the largest currently available.
In actual operation, the large screen was very useful. For example, the Chrome browser can be open side by side with a document, etc. The 17.3” Chromebook is also fairly thin and light at just over 4 pounds. Battery life while surfing and using some Android apps was about 8 hours.
I use an Android phone. The ability of the Chrome operating system to run familiar Android apps was very good and contributed to the overall usefulness of the unit. Also the ability to charge via usb came in handy.
For all of the positives, I did find the touchscreen a little dull and the Chromebook a little slow at times. All in all, I would recommend the 317 for someone with a need for a Chromebook because of its large screen, its usb charging capability, and its ability to run Android apps.

Ends Frustration with Cartridge Based Printers

About 3 years ago, I just about gave up on in jet printers. They were expensive to operate because of their never ending need for expensive ink cartridges and they were extremely frustrating because it seemed they were always out of ink whenever I wanted to print an important document. But I gave it one more chance and bought an ink jet printer (from another manufacturer) with refillable ink tanks. Since that time, I have printed thousands of pages without adding any ink and my opinion of ink jet printers has completely changed.
The HP Smart Tank 7001 All-in-One is one of HP’s entries into refillable ink tank printers. It has an automatic document feeder and is capable of printing up to 15ppm black and 9ppm color. It comes with enough ink to print 8000 pages color or 6000 black pages.
In actual operation, the 7001 was fast and quiet and printed well over wifi from my PC, tablet, Iphone, and Android phone. The were no paper jams and after printing a couple hundred pages, I could not see any reduction in the ink level.
If you are looking for an ink jet printer from a dependable company that in the long run will be more economical and much less frustrating than a cartridge based printer, I would highly recommend the HP7001.

The Affetto Espresso is a compact, easy to setup and use machine that produces quality espresso. It has a small footprint that easy fits on my kitchen countertop. Setup is as easy as opening the box, removing tape, cleaning and filling the water bin, adding coffee beans, letting the machine self clean and pressing the appropriate drink button. Your choice of drink is then made in a matter of seconds. An app is available to customize the drink. The app is also used to monitor the machine condition.
I have previously had other other espresso machines but they took up too much room or eventually just became a pain in the neck to use. Using the Affetto is a pleasure as it basically only involves the press of a button to make the desired drink. The Affetto is also easy to disassemble to clean and maintain. Other features built in wifi, a milk frother, and the ability to make hot water.
I highly recommend the Affetto to anyone looking for a beautiful, compact espresso machine that is convenient to use and produces very good espresso drinks.

Comfortable and Long Lasting, Oculus Quest

The Sony bluetooth neck speaker is a very comfortable, wearable, blue tooth speaker with a rated battery life of 20 hours. In actual use, I was comfortably able to wear the speaker all day for several days. I was also able to pair the speaker to my Iphone, Android phone, laptop, and Oculus Quest VR headset.
The speaker was used for several purposes; calls and conferences, music, Youtube, and Oculus Quest apps. In each case, the sound was clear and loud. Music sounded good although not as good as a high end headset. In addition, unless you keep the volume fairly low, the sound can be heard be others in the room. For me, however, the ability to use this speaker with Oculus Quest is what makes it a keeper. I can now get good quality sound from my Quest without having to use earphones or remaining in one area.
If you are looking for an extremely comfortable, wearable speaker with long battery life that can be used for multiple purposes and allows you to use your Oculus Quest headset without headphones, I highly recommend the Sony neck speaker.

The Alienware x17 R1 is a powerful and thin 17 inch laptop with a 360Hz FHD display, an 11th. Generation i7 cpu, a 125w Nvidia RTX3070 gpu, and an innovative cooling system running Windows 11.
Incorporating an RTX3070 gpu into a thin laptop can be tricky, with some vendors using a lower power gpu and/or employing throttling to reduce temperature. This leads to lower frame rates and performance. The x17 R1 uses a higher voltage gpu with a superior cooling system to alleviate this.
For the past year, I have been using a laptop with an 80w RTX3060 gpu. Although performance has been adequate, the x17 R1 is noticeably faster. For example, on the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark, the x17 R1 has a graphics score of 11,020 while my previous RTX3060 scored 7046. Games also have much higher framerates.
The laptop features the use of Optimus and supports G-Sync. With Optimus, the use of the battery saving mode, and the display frequency reduced to 60Hz, the laptop has surprisingly good battery life when internet surfing or using office products. Also, in a pinch the laptop can be powered from the usb-c connection.
In summary, if you are looking for a large screen, thin laptop that will play any game thrown at it and can also, in a pinch, double as your daily driver, I would recommend the Alienware x17 R1.

The only problem that I had with the laptop is that it would initially not complete the setup past the Welcome screen. After shutting it off a couple times, setup completed and I had no further problems.

DON'T LET NEGATIVE REVIEWS DISCOURAGE YOU, Windows-based PCs are notable for not being as reliable as Macs out-of-the-box, so a simple exchange or Windows customization may be the solution if you feel that you have a faulty product.
Overall, this computer is very fast, with almost identical specs to a MacBook Pro that costs twice as much. The hardware is what really makes this machine stand out from ultrabooks and Macs that cost hundreds of dollars more; the trackpad and the keyboard are outstanding and on par with if not superior to those found on a Macbook. The construction is amazingly sturdy and makes this machine feel indestructible. The hinge for the 2-in-1 feature is also very good, and I feel confident that it can last for many years with the same sturdiness.
Windows 10 looks great and works surprisingly well on this laptop, but I have experienced random audio popping sounds as have other reviewers. Perhaps later driver updates will provide a solution, but such a minor qualm shouldn't deter you from purchasing this machine by any means.
My biggest issue is the battery life, which in real world use lasts anywhere from 4 to 7 hours, which is significantly lower than MacBook Air's dominant 10 to 13 hour battery life.
BOTTOM LINE, software and Windows 10 features are essentially identical to those found on most ultrabooks, and the internals are on par with more expensive models. This is the laptop for you if you need powerful internals and mighty construction, but can deal with lower battery life than other ultrabooks.

Your review hits the nail on the head. A very high quality laptop that would feel premium if it were a little thinner. Only negative I've found is the battery which lasts about 6 hours for me when doing general surfing.

This laptop is very fast and well built. Initially, I had some trouble installing win10 anniversary when it got stuck on boot screen. I am now running anniversary but the pen does not seem to work or be recognized. Keyboard very nice. Screen a little dull. Battery lasts me about 6 hours. All in all a very nice laptop if I can get the pen working.

Benchmarks and Dell 13.3 2-1 i5

I ran a simple win10 benchmark PC Benchmark on the ThinkPad and the above Dell. Both are nice laptops with the Dell having a USB-c and Windows Hello support. The CPU and disk results are pretty which is to be expected. The Dell ram score is about double the ThinkPad and the ThinkPad gpu score is about triple the Dell. Overall, the ThinkPad "feels" quicker to me.

Does the ThinkPad 14 charge the pen when the ThinkPad is on battery? There are quite a few times when the pen is not recognized and I am trying to figure out why.
