The Conairman Ultimate Trim Precision is a convenient and easy to use 4 in 1 cordless device that consists of a precision beard and mustache trimmer, a haircut and body trimmer, a detail foil shaver, and a nose and ear trimmer. It is waterproof and has a long lasting, rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
I’ve had a chance to use the detail foil shaver for about 5 days. During that time, I’ve found the shaver capable of removing hair from difficult locations like under the nose, in the chin area, and under the chin and neck. The shave was smooth and comfortable and was at least equivalent to my shaving cream and razor experiences. I also have used the nose and ear trimmer. The trimmer was easy to use and comfortably removed hair from the nose and ear areas. To a lesser extent, I also used the body trimmer and beard trimmer. Each functioned as expected.
I especially liked being able to use the device when wet. Shaving and removing nose and ear hairs were particularly effective when wet. The battery also was long lasting working for well over several hours.
If you are looking for a multifunctional and easy to use device for shaving and unwanted hair removal as well as a beard and mustache trimmer, I would highly recommend the Conairman Ultimate Trim Precision.

Improve Quality of Life with Better Hearing

Just for a little background. I am in my mid-70s and have not had any medical testing for hearing loss. I have, however, been told by others around me that I don’t seem to hear as well as I used to. Situations were I have problems include listening to tv, conducting conversations in a crowded room, and hearing sounds like the coffee maker beeping. With that in mind, I decided to try the Lexie B2 Hearing Aids Powered by Bose. These hearings aids are small and rechargeable and can be controlled using Bluetooth technology with a phone app.
Setup was very easy and probably took around 5 minutes. Just download the app, insert the hearing aids in your ears, and follow the steps in the app to adjust the sound level to your liking. Adjustments can be found for whole room sound, sound from straight ahead, bass, treble, etc.
In operation, I did notice that tv listening was much more enjoyable and that I was now hearing every word. Conversations with individuals were also much clearer and words were not being “clipped”.
I would recommended the Lexie B2 to anyone who feels that they are missing out on hearing everyday things correctly and would like to improve their quality of life.

I have had the original Oculus Quest and Oculus (Meta) Quest 2 for several years now. They are great devices for viewing movies, playing games, etc., but one area where they have been lacking is audio. If you are watching a Netflix movie on a big screen or immersed in an intensive video game, you want sound to match. The Logitech - Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio for Meta Quest 2 fills that void.
The Logitech - Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio is an attractive addition specifically made for the Meta Quest 2. It feels high quality, light, and is comfortable to wear. No additional power source is required. The unit simply slides into the Meta Quest 2 using the usb-c power passthrough. An easy to use mute feature is also provided.
In using the Logitech - Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio for Meta Quest 2 in games like Beat Saber, sound was much more immersive and lead to greater enjoyment of game play. Although fully immersive, when wearing you can hear the outside environment and the outside environment (evidently) can hear you. The ability to hear the outside environment is intentional and allows you to be aware of your environment.
I highly recommend the Logitech - Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio for Meta Quest 2 as an accessory the Meta Quest 2 if you want to get even greater enjoyment from your VR headset.

The Eero 6+ AX-3000 is a 3 pack, dual band mesh wifi 6 system that is easy to set up, fast, and provides excellent range capable of handling at least a 3000 square foot house. Set up and control of the system is done entirely through an app downloaded to your Iphone or Android phone. In my case, it was an Iphone. Set up allows you to keep the SSID and password from your previous network which had been a Velop tri band mesh system. I found this tremendously helpful since all of the 25 or so devices that I have immediately recognized the new network without additional configuration. The first of the 3 pack devices is connected to your cable modem, etc. and is configured during the initial setup. The additional 2 devices can be configured during initial set up or any time later through the app.
I ended up using only 2 of the 3 pack devices since the 3rd one would have been overkill for my 2200 square foot house unless I wanted to extend the network deep into the backyard or my neighbor’s yard. As I mention, I previously had a two pack, tri band Velop mesh system. This system had served me well for several years, however, I have recently acquired several wifi 6 devices and the Velop system was not wifi 6.
I have about 25 devices on my system including 4 HDTVs which I constantly stream. In actual operation, the eero system felt very quick and no buffering occurred. Range was also excellent exceeding my previous Velop system. I have 1 gigabyte per second internet coming into the house. About 20 feet from the router and in the same room as the router, I was able to achieve about 900mbps on my laptop compared to about 750mbps with the previous Velop system. A story below the router and through 3 walls, I achieved around 250mbps compared to 200mbps with the previous system.
I you are a heavy user of video or other data intensive devices and want a network that is easy to set up, fast, and with great range, I highly recommend the Eero 6+ AX3000.

The Galaxy Watch5 is the latest watch from Samsung using WearOS. It is functionally identical to the Galaxy Watch5 Pro except that the latter has a larger battery and possibly a more upscale look.
The one that I am reviewing is a Watch5 with a black band and black face and the ability to be used either linked to your phone or as a cellular device. It is 44mm and is easy to see in broad daylight with its bright screen and is light and comfortable for a person with fairly large wrists. The combination of a black band and black face is also attractive. Charging is wireless.
Setup is through an app on your phone. During setup you may choose whether you want the watch linked to your phone or whether you want it to be on your cellular network. Applications can also be initially chosen at this time.
I chose to try the watch both ways. Initially I just linked the watch to the phone. This worked fine but of course you are required to have your phone at all times. Later I setup the watch on my T-Mobile account using the same number as my phone. This also worked out well and freed me of needing my phone to make/receive messages and deal with notifications, etc.
The latest version of the WearOS is reasonably fast and has matured with numerous useful convenience and health apps available. Battery life is reasonable although some days I had trouble getting through a full day. This is somewhat offset by fast charging.
In summary, I recommend the Watch5 to anyone looking for and attractive and functional watch that operates either linked to your phone or a separate cellular device. Heavy users may need to be careful since some days will require charging.

The Frigidaire Portable 3-1 Room Air Conditioner is a portable air conditioner that is designed to cool up to 450 square feet and can be easily rolled from location to location, if needed. It comes with a remote or can be controlled by a panel on the top of the unit. An installation kit it provided for exhausting the unit through a window.
Installation was fairly simple, consisting of unpacking, installing the exhaust installation kit, and turning on the unit. The installation process, however, was complicated by the fact that my window was not wide enough to fit the exhaust piece and thus I had to cut the piece to allow it to fit. This was not difficult but it is probably something that will have to be done for most installations.
In operation, the unit was quiet and adequately cooled my area on a 90 degree day in North Carolina. My use is sun room that was previously a screen porch but is now enclosed without heating or cooling from the main heating/cooling ventilation system in the house. Other uses could be a small garage or any location where additional cooling and heating are necessary.
I recommend the Frigidaire as a quality, portable, cooling and heating solution if you have areas like a sun room that needs cooling/heating. For a relatively low cost, you can transform these areas into a much more useable and comfortable areas.

Easy to Setup and Economical Print Cost Per Page

The HP Laserjet Tank printer is one of the easiest printers that I have ever set up. Since the toner is already installed, all you have to do is remove the packing, plug it in, and download the hp app to your Android phone or other device. When you run the app, it finds the printer and takes over the installation process. The printer also becomes available to all other devices (computers, tablets, phones) on your network.
The printer is well specified with a speed of up to 23 ppm, a resolution of 600x600 dpi, automatic two sided printing, scan capability, and a 40 page automatic document feeder. But what really separates the HP Tank from other laser printers is that it comes with 2 years of Original HP Toner that allows you to print up to 5000 pages. I have long been frustrated with both ink jet and laser printers that may print great but always seem to require ink or toner cartridge replacement. The HP Tank goes a long way toward solving this problem and leads to low cost per page printing.
In actual operation, the HP Tank seemed very fast and resulted in very sharp print results. No jams occurred in over 100 pages of printing.
I highly recommend the HP Tank to anyone looking for an easy to setup monochrome laser printer with longer duration between refills and lower cost printing per page.

Easy Corded Replacement for Existing Disposal

My garbage disposal stopped working a couple of days ago. It was making a whining kind of sound that I have heard before and that I thought I could fix by simply pressing the reset button on the bottom of the unit or turning the nut on the bottom. Needless to say this did not work.
Enter the Smart Choice 1/2HP Corded Garbage Disposal. I wanted a replacement garbage disposal that was the same horsepower as my previous unit and that would fit into the existing sink and area without any modifications. I also wanted a disposal that could be plugged in a wall outlet since my previous disposal was hard wired. The disposal

The Ninja 6-1is a very useful addition to any kitchen. It is easy to setup, easy to use, easy to clean and takes up a minimal amount of room compared to similar appliances. I was able to locate it in several places in my small kitchen.
I have used the Ninja to cook hamburgers, pork, and fish. This means I have used the grill, air fryer, and bake functions. At the front of the unit the control panel is easy to read and use. It provides your cooking functions and temperature and timing options. It displays the preheat progress and reminds the user to add food, close hood, flip food and get food. Each was easy to setup and resulted in delicious tasting meals. The hamburgers were particularly good resulting in a grilled taste that is impossible to get on a stove. The pork and fish were moist and very tasty. Setup can be either what I will call automatic or manual. A dual sensor thermometer is included and conveniently stores on board the appliance. In automatic, the thermometer is inserted into the meat/fish and determines when the food is done. In the manual mode, an appropriate time is suggested depending on how well you want the food cooked, and the food is cooked accordingly. I mostly used the manual mode and found it to cook to my liking.
Over, I highly recommend the Ninja for anyone looking for a highly productive kitchen appliance that takes up minimal space while allowing the user to cook a fairly large quantity of food (in my case, four pieces of the above mentioned items fit with room to spare). The Ninja produces excellent results that are not easily achieved with other appliances.

Starting with the transition from my old Android phone to this Google Pixel 6a; the process went without any glitches. Since I had a large amount of data and multiple applications installed on my old phone, the transfer took almost 40 minutes.
PROS:
- When it comes to connectivity (5G NR, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC), this is my first 5G phone. With Verizon I am getting almost 130 MB/sec of download speed, pretty decent for cell phone connectivity. The fact that the phone is unlocked is also a big plus to me, as I do not like to be tied to only one provider. During the set-up process, it only required the old SIM card, and no other additional configuration.
- One of my favorites features of the Android operating system is “Screening Calls”. After you receive a call, you have the option to send the caller to an Android Screening service. The caller will be presented with a predetermined message, in real time you will see the caller’s answer. Then you have the option to block, ask for more information, or answer.
- Google’s Personal Safety application pulls everything together in reference to: emergency contacts, medical information, addresses, etc. Everything conveniently located at one location, saved locally into the device.
- Google’s Safety Check allows the user to set up alerts at a certain time, it will also activate emergency sharing if the user does not respond. If a response is not received, the Emergency sharing will notify your pre-selected contacts, and it will also include your location. Google’s Personal Safety supports car crash detection, notifying pre-selected contacts of the user’s involvement in a crash.
- Battery life is one of the best ones that I have had the opportunity to experience. So far, the Adaptive Battery allows me to have a battery life for the whole day, without the concern or risk of losing battery during the day.
- Although I did not use this capability it is a functionally that Google Pixel 6a offers, the ability to not use a physical SIM card. It allows you to use an eSIM, a technology that adds a cellular plan to the Pixel 6a, without using a physical SIM card.
- Google’s Quick Tap offers its users some extra functionality at your fingertips.
- Google’s Live Caption is one of the most convenient accessibility functions in Google’s lineup. Excellent application when you are in a loud environment.
- The display is a 6.1-inch Screen AMOLED, with FHD+ 60Hz and 20:9 aspect ratio.
- The camera it is a great feature of this Pixel 6a phone, the phone packs two rear camera sensors, a 12.2MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 114˚ field-of-view.
CONS
- The Google Pixel 6a comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB flash storage, with no additional capability to include an additional MicroSD card slot. That is a big disadvantage for me, as I like to save my large files (i.e., videos) on an external storage.
- A drawback that I recognized is that the Pixel 6a does not come with wireless charging. The user can recharge over USB-C at up to 18W.

DON'T LET NEGATIVE REVIEWS DISCOURAGE YOU, Windows-based PCs are notable for not being as reliable as Macs out-of-the-box, so a simple exchange or Windows customization may be the solution if you feel that you have a faulty product.
Overall, this computer is very fast, with almost identical specs to a MacBook Pro that costs twice as much. The hardware is what really makes this machine stand out from ultrabooks and Macs that cost hundreds of dollars more; the trackpad and the keyboard are outstanding and on par with if not superior to those found on a Macbook. The construction is amazingly sturdy and makes this machine feel indestructible. The hinge for the 2-in-1 feature is also very good, and I feel confident that it can last for many years with the same sturdiness.
Windows 10 looks great and works surprisingly well on this laptop, but I have experienced random audio popping sounds as have other reviewers. Perhaps later driver updates will provide a solution, but such a minor qualm shouldn't deter you from purchasing this machine by any means.
My biggest issue is the battery life, which in real world use lasts anywhere from 4 to 7 hours, which is significantly lower than MacBook Air's dominant 10 to 13 hour battery life.
BOTTOM LINE, software and Windows 10 features are essentially identical to those found on most ultrabooks, and the internals are on par with more expensive models. This is the laptop for you if you need powerful internals and mighty construction, but can deal with lower battery life than other ultrabooks.

Windows 10 looks great and works surprisingly well on this laptop, but I have experienced random audio popping sounds as have other reviewers. Perhaps later driver updates will provide a solution, but such a minor qualm shouldn't deter you from purchasing this machine by any means.
My biggest issue is the battery life, which in real world use lasts anywhere from 4 to 7 hours, which is significantly lower than MacBook Air's dominant 10 to 13 hour battery life.
BOTTOM LINE, software and Windows 10 features are essentially identical to those found on most ultrabooks, and the internals are on par with more expensive models. This is the laptop for you if you need powerful internals and mighty construction, but can deal with lower battery life than other ultrabooks.

Your review hits the nail on the head. A very high quality laptop that would feel premium if it were a little thinner. Only negative I've found is the battery which lasts about 6 hours for me when doing general surfing.

This laptop is very fast and well built. Initially, I had some trouble installing win10 anniversary when it got stuck on boot screen. I am now running anniversary but the pen does not seem to work or be recognized. Keyboard very nice. Screen a little dull. Battery lasts me about 6 hours. All in all a very nice laptop if I can get the pen working.

Benchmarks and Dell 13.3 2-1 i5

I ran a simple win10 benchmark PC Benchmark on the ThinkPad and the above Dell. Both are nice laptops with the Dell having a USB-c and Windows Hello support. The CPU and disk results are pretty which is to be expected. The Dell ram score is about double the ThinkPad and the ThinkPad gpu score is about triple the Dell. Overall, the ThinkPad "feels" quicker to me.

Does the ThinkPad 14 charge the pen when the ThinkPad is on battery? There are quite a few times when the pen is not recognized and I am trying to figure out why.

Just picked up from BB a couple of hours ago. Screen in good and tablet seems faster than previous model possibly due to more memory. Battery so far seems very good.
