Photo Printer for the Masses?

My last printer was a four-in-one, where the fourth option was faxing. I haven't received a fax on it in for who knows how long. It was time for an upgrade, especially with all the photos I've been printing lately. Not only does the ENVY Photo printer print better photos but the ease of going from phone to photo is amazingly easy. Loving it. Slightly smaller footprint than the last printer but that's because there is no auto-feeder which I hope I don't miss.

Perfect Machine for School

My son recently tripped and fell with his tablet in hand. It cracked and was irreparable. We decided to go with a laptop replacement for him, especially with the new school year upon us. The Samsung - Notebook 9 Pro is the perfect machine for lugging around for school and doing homework at home. Size-wise, we're talking a really light machine.Yes, it is only just over 13" in size for display. The combo of that and the 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD gives it enough memory and space to play/store all his favorite music, too. At times it seems like a glorified YouTube player but it can do so much more for you. Performance is top of the line with an Intel Core i7. Great power management and nearly instant on at startup. Waiting to see how well it handles the abuse of a student. So far so good, but school hasn't re-started just yet. No disappointments with this machine yet, especially since you can rotate keyboard around and treat it like a tablet. Great job.

Great, Except for Instructions

I've been a user of Logitech mice for a really long time. I found this mouse to be one of the more comfortable ones I've used in a long time given its higher arch than some other mice I've used. To get the most out of the mouse, you need to download the online driver software, which brings up my biggest problem with the mouse, the four page instruction booklet. It is pictures only with the exception of a URL and copyright notice. Also, make sure you get all the pieces out of the plastic casing in the box as that is where the dongle is to connect to your computer. It doesn't use Bluetooth or Wifi, instead its own LIGHTSPEED technology, which may be faster but requires its own connector in your USB port. Once you download/install the software, to get the most out of the battery life of the mouse, turn off the lights. Sure, you can customize the colors, but then you're eating into the battery life of the mouse. If you're into long gaming sessions with the mouse, you don't want it to die in the middle. Sure, you can then use it as a wired mouse, but that isn't its true purpose. You can also program the mouse's six buttons with the help of this software. Great for customizing for your games. The different DPI options are great for gaming too when you need to switch between settings. And, there is a 10g weight to make the mouse heavier if you so desire. Overall, I like the mouse, especially after customizing it with the available software. Without the software, you'll find it lacking. I do like the look of the white mouse over the black one, but that is a personal preference and has nothing to do with performance/behavior.

We have a 120 pound Newfoundland and he sheds a lot. My wife has been wanting to try out the Roomba so I figured we'd give it a try. Our family room has gray carpets and the dog's black hair accumulates regularly to the point where we vacuum it frequently. The rest of the home needs to be vacuumed, too, but not as frequently as the family room. If the Roomba could at least help there.... it would be worth it....
Setup of the Roomba was a piece of cake. While I'm not technically challenged, the procedure is simple enough that nearly anyone could get the machine configured. All you really need is your Wifi password and go through a handful of steps after downloading an app for your mobile device. You use the app to enable the Roomba after a night of charging. You can schedule when to clean and monitor its effectiveness through some limited reporting.
How'd the machine do? The family room is roughly 16x14 with some furniture in it... Under the chairs have never been vacuumed so well. Couldn't fit under the couch but wasn't expecting it to. Was not expecting machine to repeatedly go under chairs. Some of the carpet was covered so frequently... we would have hoped the hairier parts of carpet got as much coverage. The machine ate the dog's tail before he knew what was going on. It was easy to come out but surprisingly the dog was not afraid of the machine. The machine ran out of battery life before the room was fully cleaned. We had just vacuumed maybe two days ago at most. The room was much better then when it started but didn't get everything clean before the battery life required it to park itself. The bin to hold the dust and dirt was full when done.
In the end... the Roomba would work out well for us to be timed to go off when the dog was in his crate and our son was not home. It would at most cover the one room. (Our son got in its way more than the dog.) We would need to empty it after each usage. It is loud and ran for like 40 minutes before low battery. We would still need to vacuum the rest of the same floor (as well as the house), but would still need to go over where the Roomba lived.
I'd recommend this more for someone without a GIANT breed dog. I'm sure it would do much better with a small, less hairy breed. It does clean, just with all the hair from our dog, it just couldn't get it all up and my wife swore it was leaving 'new' stuff behind towards the end. It picked up a penny that was under one of the chairs... We're sending it off to my inlaws who live in a single floor home. Without all the dog hair, it should be able to handle the whole level quite easily.

Great Weekend Rainy Day Project

I have a 10 year old who loves to listen to music. I originally gave him one of my cheap Bluetooth speakers but picked this up to get him a better one and for the DIY aspect.
This is a great weekend Build-It-Yourself type project to do with your kid. If you have the patience to let your child do most of the work, they should do a pretty good job with minimal to no help from parent(s) even though you want to help. They learn along the way with the help of an iPhone/iPad only app. Thankfully my wife has an iPhone as I'm Android. I do wish there was an Android version of the app.
Being from Bose , the sound quality is decent, too. However, you're getting it more for the DIY aspect and that learning experience than the sound. Reasonable price for what you get out of it.

Great Sound, Basic Usage Could be Easier

Unit unpacked and connected to TV quickly. Initial speaker setup went fine, but had trouble finding instructions to adjust volume. It was not clear that the volume/mute button was a rocker switch used to adjust volume. Instructions regarding volume control were difficult to locate in user guide. User guide lacks a much-needed Index in addition to Table of Contents.
Remote control buttons are poorly marked and not laid out in a logical fashion.
Sound quality at least equal if not better to other soundbars in this price range. Especially appreciate the multiple audio inputs and the ability to adjust volume using the TV remote.
Once setup and operation learned, the unit is easy to use and sounds great.

Good for the Younger Crowd

When I test out headphones, I tend to blare Imagine Dragons through them and see how they do with the heavy bass. That's not really the appropriate thing to do here, although output is limited to 85 dB so perhaps it is still a valid test, but for other reasons. Instead, these target the 2-8 year old so your child doesn't drive mom and dad crazy while they're playing on their tablet or other device. These are built small so fit is a key concern. For the age appropriate folks I had my niece/nephew try them on, they fit great for the 4 and 7 year old. For myself and my above avg size 10 year old, the headphones are too small but we're not the product's audience. Besides fit, the other key concern is volume safety and that's where the revamped Imagine Dragons test comes in. They are compact when folded and are adjustable to grow some but not much. Great idea for the younger crowd.

When getting a Bluetooth speaker, there are many options to consider. First and foremost is how you plan on using the device. Is it for studying, by the pool, in the house, in the pool, in the woods hikes, or many other possible tasks. Once you know where you'll need to be able to use the device, you can start considering what to actually get.
The Aquaphonics speaker is for those times where the possibility exists for the speaker to get wet, or you need it for multiple purposes, one of which involves a high probability of the speaker hitting water. In the pool, in the hob tub, during a shower, out in the rain. Hopefully... not in the washing machine or down the toilet.
Sound quality is good given the smaller size. You're getting this more though for the ability to dunk it in water for 30 minutes.More typically, it would be an accidental drop into the water, or possibly for singing in the shower.
Carabiner lets you hang from a backpack or some such. Built in mike lets you use with phone handsfree.
If you're looking for a wireless speaker that you can be a little rough with, you won't be disappointed here.

If you have lots of sealed flooring that needs to be wet mopped, this works great to keep them clean. Instead of mostly using your body weight to move that mop with reusable pads and clean those rough spots, you're relying on the spinning action of the SpinWave for the cleaning action. Unfortunately, every time you press the button to spray the floor, the mop beeps. This gets really annoying really fast. Apart from the constant beeping, the SpinWave does a great job to clean the floors. The pads are machine washable but require washing separately and with liquid detergent, not pods, which we haven't used in a long while. Worthy replacement with the two possible exceptions. Do make sure you sweep / vacuum first. That's a must.

I've been using electric razors for like 35 years now. My last several have been from Panasonic. I like the foil heads vs. the triple heads on other shavers. My wife broke the trimmer blade on my last razor so it was time to get a new one.
Nowadays, getting a wet-dry razor seems like a no brainer, not necessarily because I want to shave in shower. More because they're just easier to clean.
You get a super close shave with this razor. Nice and smooth face without any irritation. Easy to clean. Keeps charge long enough for lots of shaves. Obviously it depends on how many times a week you shave on how long it will list but this goes for a while for me as I don't need to shave daily unless I really want to. Comfortable to hold and the pivoting head keeps the foils on point.

It will setup an barrier to between it and the wall across from it that the Roomba won't cross. There is also an "arc" mode that you can use by let's say placing it between your dog bowls. That will create an arc around the bowls so it won't repeatedly ram into them. Otherwise, it has free reign of where it will go. If the battery starts getting low, it will return to base.

What are the dimension and how can be charged? It has a bag to store all the dirty? Thanks
The Roomba is about 13" around. There is a base you plug into the wall that the machine parks over whenever it needs a charge. So, add a couple more inches for depth for the base. No bag. It has a small bin in the front that you can empty when the machine is parked.

Can you use any solution with this machine ? Also, does this clean in the grooves of textured floors ?
It is not recommended you use another solution. I think that has the potential to void the warranty.
