This came free with the purchase of my Nintendo Switch. Once installed it has performed as expected. No errors and a reasonable amount of storage space. The only downside is that this had to be shipped separately, and the Switch cannot move games from internal storage to SD card, so I had to "archive" the games that I installed on internal, and then re-download them. After that, everything has been smooth sailing.

I use this with my Xbox One X dev kit to quickly load unoptimized game clients, and it is clearly faster than the internal storage. Where a typical load time for in-development game takes 5+ minutes, this only takes 4. Retail games also see a boost, but typically much smaller, in the 15-45 seconds range depending on the game and what is being loaded.

Xbox One X compatibility. Is it possible, and if so how do I need to configure it? The new One X shows an ability to configure hard drives for you, however I would like this for strenuous hard drive dependent games (Skyrim's Mods for example).
Yes, this will work with the XB1X. No spebial configuration required. Just plug it in, select that you want to use it for games (will only work with consoles) or for media storage (movies, music, and pictures, and can be used between consoles or computers). I use this with my XB1X dev kit, and it is an absolute champ for quickly loading games.
