Great mouse but not as good as the MX Revolution

I got this mouse to replace an aging MX Revolution that I really liked. The battery was weak, barely lasting a day, and the "soft sides" were flaking off.
This looked like a good replacement, and functionally it is. In fact now that I've used it a couple weeks I like it better.
It lost one star in rating because it seems like I'm always needing to charge the battery. The MX Revolution has a charge cradle in which you can put it overnight, the Performance MX must be connected to a micro-USB cable, which as you know is somewhat delicate and "fiddly". I need to charge about every 2 or 3 days. If it would go 2 weeks I think the micro-USB connector would be acceptable, but 2 days is not long enough.
This looked like a good replacement, and functionally it is. In fact now that I've used it a couple weeks I like it better.

Good soundbar with poor subwoofer link

The salesman was honest, he said some folks complained that the Bluetooth link to the subwoofer sometimes dropped out. Well, the bass "comes & goes" but I'm not sure it is the BT link. Our subwoofer is less than 2 feet from the soundbar, beneath the TV. The subwoofer has an LED that is green if BT is linked and red if BT is not linked. I have watched as the bass comes and goes, the LED stays green. There is some other problem in Sony's system, I think.
If I were to buy another soundbar I would stick with a wired link to the subwoofer. Sure, it is a pain to route the wire, but when you are done you know you have a connection.

Good hard drive from a reputable manufacturer

OK, one cannot really review a hard drive after owning it only a month. Unless its bad out of the box you still don't know anything about its reliability, a huge factor for hard drives. I have had good results with other Western Digital HDDs so I expect long life from this one as well. If I think of it I'll update this review in 3 years. :-)
I bought this drive to replace my system's original HDD which was failing with uncorrectable errors in a few dozen sectors. I was disappointed that the included drive migration software -- Acronis TrueImage -- would not clone the drive after finding the bad sectors. This is not a big deal, though, just download the free version of HD Clone and use it.

Can the Fitbit be removed from the band? I have a Flex and I like wearing it on a magnetic clasp on my belt strap. Is this an option with the alta?
Yes the Alta can be removed from its band. I don't know if it would stay attached to your belt strap or even how well it would detect steps given that it is intended to be worn on a wrist.

Is this drive in rohs compliance? The box only states ce but other drives show both.
ROHS compliance is required to be able to display the CE mark, so yes.

Can the mouse be used with a Logitech Unifying Receiver?
Can the mouse be used with a Logitech Unifying Receiver? Or is Bluetooth the only way to connect the mouse aside from the USB cable? Also, can the battery be replaced?
Yes, the MX Master uses a unifying receiver. In fact it can use up to three unifying receivers, with a button on the bottom you can use to select which of the three PCs the mouse will be paired with. Since my keyboard already uses a unifying receiver I put the unifying receiver that came with the mouse in my laptop and now I can use the MX Master with either my desktop or my laptop at the press of a button. :-)
As for the battery, I fear it is non-replaceable. You would have to peel off the slick pads on the bottom of the mouse to open the case, I doubt they would go back on quite right when you are done changing the battery. :-(
