The HP Envy Move portable all in one computer is a really cool crossover between a home desktop and a laptop. It's a large screen device with a 23.8" screen with everything built in to the screen. This device offers great functionality with an intel i5processer, 8gb of ram a touchscreen and a fresh windows 11 install. It also has a 512gb ssd a 5mp camera that looks amazing and some excellent Bang & Olufsen speakers built in.
Packaging was right up there with a smaller sized TV, very well protected. Upon unboxing I noticed there wasn't much more in there but cardboard that provided protection for the device. I pulled out the Move, the keyboard and the charging cable. Bang! Ready to rock. Took about 25 minutes to run thru everything install related and then I was off to the races. All connections were pretty much automatically done like wifi and bluetooth. Super easy.. It has a carrying handle some really cool stands that swivel out automatically when you put it on a table and a nice keyboard that slides in a little pouch on the back. There are a few inputs, HDMI input, USB Type C, USB Type A and power. This could have used a few more type A inputs to be honest. Other than that I don't see anything at all wrong with this! The all in one worked well with streaming online, disney +, my kids roblox gaming and my wifes general usage. This is going to be my kids first time dipping his toes into the world of an actual computer vs using their tablets. There is an actual rechargeable battery on the Envy Move which enables it to really move around wherever you want. The batttery held up pretty well under mild usage of the kids. We got about 3 or 4 hours of gaming or streaming before we charged it up.
This thing is really cool and will be used A LOT in our house. For the price I think it's worth it for what you get. We could literally pack it up and take it with us on vacation it's so compact. Highly recommend!

A great device for mind body and soul.

This is one version of the many Theraguns that are currently on the market. This version offers the same great massage power that Theraguns are known for along with some breathing exercises and heartrate monitoring thru the app that ties into it.
Once unboxed you will find the theragun, 4 tips and soft case and a usb c cord. No block to plug it into but you probably have 20 at home already you can use. The sense offers your typical triangular design that is common with these products. Great for getting to hard to reach places on the back glutes and hamstrings. There is an integrated sensor on the display screen that shows how much pressure you are using. There is also a way to bump the speed of the massager up by pressing up or down on the control pad. Simple.
The Therabody app has a ton of different features and connects to the Sense by bluetooth. Connection was unusually quick and never dropped off. Under every catagory there are several different routines that you can run. There are running, winter sports, combat sports, pickleball, water sports and a ton more to choose from. Most of these warm up or recoveries are anywhere from 2-11 minutes. Personally I suffer from back pain and knee arthritis and when I use this device it is only on quick start and I use it way longer than 2-11 minutes. The battery holds up rather well but that's all dependant on how fast you have it going and how much you use it.
The other options that the sense offers is breathing and heart rate monitoring. Research shows that if you can control your breathing you can reduce stress and even lower your blood pressure, just by breathing. This heart rate monitor seems to be accurate as compared to my smart watch. Using the relax breathing I was able to get my heart rate down 10 bpm from what it normally is. The sense uses vibrations and calming music as well as a sensor on the underside of the grip. I did have issues once getting it to read my heart rate but I figured out I was just gripping it too hard, the instructions plainly say not to do that.
All in all this is just another very cool device from Therabody. The incorporation of the sensing and breathing on the Sense is just what I needed in my life. We all need to work out the aches and pains in our bodies after being active and maybe we all need to just calm down, slow down and breathe a little bit too.

Bose is at it again with the new QuietComfort Ultra True Wireless Noise Cancelling earbuds. If you know about Bose, you know what to expect. Excellent quality, cutting edge sound and an all around amazing product.
Over the past few days these are typically in my ears off and on from 9a-11p. Out of the box these buds fit perfectly in my ears, amazing. It hugs the inside of your ear and unlike some other brands of earbuds these are so light and small they don't feel like they're falling out of your ears at time. Even while working out or sweating, they're just stuck there. The package does come with 2 additional sizes on top of what you get installed on the earbuds, so people with large or small earholes have other options.
Bose offers top notch audio quality in their products. The QuietComfort Ultras are no different. The app offers a ton of settings. There are 3 different modes to choose from. There's quiet which is your normal noise cancelling, aware that allows you to hear things around you by using the mic on the buds to amplify sounds and the last mode is immersion which makes it feel like a live concert in your hears and also uses noise cancelling. Inside the immersion mode you have 3 other depth enhancements. Off, which i'm not sure why it's included, Still which is best for sitting down and motion which is best for when you're moving around. Mess around with them all and see which one you like best. I seem to like motion as it delivers the most depth. An EQ is also included in the app.
Speaking of noise cancelling, these earbuds are probably top of the line as far as the ability to hear NOTHING while you have the buds in. This also makes the fit and different size earpieces so important. When you have noise cancelling you need that tight seal. These accomplish that seal needed. The noise cancelling is almost uncomfortably quiet.
The battery life has been second to none. They boast 6 hours of listening time (4 with using immersive audio) and the case holds up to 3 additional full charges. The case is small and slick feeling. It doesn't create a bulge in your pocket or weigh much at all. It does feel very plastic and slightly fragile and i'm currently searching for some type of silicone case for protection.
Calls sound great on these and i've gotten good feedback from others that the mic sounds great. Touch controls are similar to other Bose models. I like the swipe up for volume up and down for volume down and I like the ability to change from noise cancelling to aware by holding down on the earbuds.
All in all these are legit top quality earbuds that offer amazing fit, amazing sound and look great. A 10 of 10 in every category in my book.

Powerful Shark purifier with long filter life!

I've been using the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier for about a week and a half. I'm very impressed with what I'm seeing so far. The design on the NeverChange Purifier looks futuristic and really cool but the features are simple and very easy to use. There is no app, and no remote comes with it, so you have to physically touch the machine to operate it. That works for me but may not work for those who may need a remote or app.
The thing that sticks out to me is the up to 5 year life on the filter. This is a game changer since most air purifier filters usually last a year or so depending on how much you use them. Since using this device I have noticed the smells dissipating more quickly after cooking. We use it in an open common area between kitchen and living room and it seems to work very well. Both of my kids suffer from allergies and while right now they are mild because of the time of year, I'm hoping this device helps ease their symptoms a bit.
As far as functionality, the machine is super easy to use. The front display shows the current air quality in your home or area. If you're further away from the machine it will show a round circle of blue if your air quality is good, yellow if its fair and red if the air quality is deemed bad. There are 5 fan speeds from high to low 1-4 and then there's auto mode which recognizes when your air quality goes down and it ramps up the fan. Auto mode works for me since there's no remote or app and while cooking something in the frying pan, it just starts ramping up. There's also a time for when you want the air purifier to turn off and a child lock. Also included is an odor neutralizer that releases a nice scent while the purifier is running. Perfect to get those bad smells out of your house more quickly.
I really like this device and I think it works well. I'm most looking forward to not replacing the filter so often. I do wish it came with an app or remote at this price point but to just set it and forget it is also nice.

Great cleaner with a few downsides.

Having small children as well as a pet, I was excited to try this Hydrosteam out. I already own a spinwave and like the way it works but it has recently began leaking.
Putting the hydrosteam together was a piece of cake. I read the instructions and filled it up with the pet multi surface formula which was included with several other sample products. Once I started cleaning the floor I did notice that this device is not able to get into corners or all the way against base boards. It will suck up the small particles and dust and hair but it won't scrub as close to the baseboards and cabinets as the spinwave. When using the steam function it takes a few seconds for the steam to appear and I'm not entirely sure that its actual steam vs hot water. I also wasn't sure how long to keep the steam button pressed due to the delay in steam appearing. I cleaned my whole kitchen floor which is where the dog usually is and isn't that big of an area, and had very little cleaning liquid left. I also cleaned a small hardwood floor area where the dog crate sits and it has some black rub marks on the floor. After running the hydrosteam across it several times the black marks were virtually gone. Nice work!
I did have to empty the disgusting brown water twice during cleaning, so I will say this Hydrosteam does clean very well! My wife even complimented how good the floors felt afterwards. For larger areas expect to empty the dirty water several times as it does not hold very much.
The final test I always do to test if the floor is really clean or just looks clean. I take a clorox wipe and run it across my newly cleaned floor and see if there's any dirt on the clorox wipe. I'm happy to say that floors are indeed clean!
The breakdown and self cleaning was actually very cool and worked well. The roller comes apart very easily and the instructions were easy to follow so you're all ready to clean the next time your floor needs it.
I've listed some cons and pros but the dirty chocolate milk looking water that came off my floors should be a testament to how good of a job this thing does. Worth it!

A heavy duty speaker from LG.

I've had my share of bluetooth speakers as have most people. From cheapo to rather nice. This LG XBOOM XG9 falls into the rather nice catagory. LG has been around, I own many of their appliances and a soundbar from them so I know what quality I was expecting. The first thing I noticed was when I lifted it from the front stoop to bring it in the house, this package was heavy!
Unboxed the contents of the box to find the speaker, the charging brick and packaging to keep everything safe. The charging brick was unexpected, it's like something you'd get with a gaming console or laptop but that just speaks to the quality and charging ability of this speaker. The speaker feels like a dumbbell, heavy with a handle on it. I poked and prodded the speaker a bit. There's some buttons on top and all electronic connections are sealed away thus the IP67 rating (charging port, aux and usb). I charged it up fully before firing it up. I left it charging all night and turned it on the next day.
Once I got it turned on and paired I downloaded the LG XBOOM app that was recommended. I would highly suggest downloading the app as it gives you control over a basic equalizer, accurate battery life and the lights on the speaker. There are 2 lights on the speaker itself. One on each end and a spotlight on the back of the speaker. My kids enjoyed turning the lights off and blaring music with the back spotlight on. The sound is remarkable. It carries heavy bass as well as balanced highs. It has a powerful, substantial sound. I was rather impressed. The sound boost feels like the way to go with this My kids and I have both been playing with this speaker off and on for over a week and I have yet to charge it again. This speaker is supposed to last 24 hours without using the lights and without blasting it, and while I haven't done a thorough scientific testing of this I can say that the battery is strong and lasts a while.
There are other features that I wasn't able to test like the IP67 rating since it hasn't left my house yet, the speakerphone and the party link that links to other LG devices to give a seamless link between speakers.
All in all if you're looking for a rugged, heavy duty speaker that gives great performance and holds a charge for a ridiculous amount of time, look no further than the XG9 from LG.

Thick quality case for a good price.

The insignia Folio case for the 10th gen Ipad feels strong and sturdy as opposed to some of the cheaper models you might find online. When inserting your ipad in the Folio Case you can feel it securely grab the ipad and keep it firmly in place. I have no worries about it popping out. There is also a slot on the right hand side of the case where you can insert an apple pencil, pretty cool little feature. Instead of it just being a blank black space there is a clear window on the back in which you can display the color of your ipad. The front cover folds up and can be used as a stand when it's not protecting the screen. The front cover also turns the ipad on and off when you open and close it.
I haven't dropped my ipad since I started using the Folio Case but it seems like it would do a good job protecting from drops. I wouldn't put one on my 3 year old's ipad but for a responsible teen or adult I think this is a good amount of protection for a device.
So you have a well built ipad case with several really cool features for an extremely competitive price point. I have to recommend this case.

Expand your storage easily!

My son is now old enough to play and understand how to play and download games on my PS5. He actually plays more than me. So I've spent months having to delete old games that I never finished in order for him to download games that are age based for him. It pains me every time I have to go in and remove an old game. Well now with the SN850P from WD, that isn't so much of an issue. These come in 1tb, 2tb and 4tb versions. The SSD is constructed with what feels to be some pretty heavy duty materials. The heatsink is made with the SN850P and helps keep your ps5 cool while playing intense games.
Install was super easy, there's plenty of videos online. Just snap off the plate and unscrew the housing where the internal storage would go. Pop in the storage and spacer and reverse the process. Once installed you format the SSD and then you can choose what files to move over to the WD. You can also choose to download all your games and files to the WD instead of your internal storage. I feel like the SN850P is just as fast reading as internal storage, at least there weren't any noticeable differences by eye.
I very much recommend this product. Choose the size that best fits how many games you play or how much you game.

Good laptop for student or basic use.

The Acer Chromebook 315 is your typical run of the mill chromebook that is likely marketed to a student or a regular user who's not doing anything memory intensive or playing games that require a higher priced computer. If you're just surfing the web or using it to do schoolwork I think this is a good choice at a good price.
The Chromebook 315 has a 15.6" screen that is matte in finish so no glare. The colors, saturation and brightness is good. It has a number pad on the keyboard which is nice. There are two usb-c ports, both of which can transfer data or charge the laptop. I find this useful because occasionally I'll be on the couch and the charger will be on the left or the right depending on where I'm sitting. It's a pet peeve of mine to have the charging cord under the laptop, so having the option to plug in either is nice. I had no problem getting online and staying connected to the internet by wifi with this laptop. The battery life held up extremely well for me under normal usage. This is not an upgradable device so you won't be able to swap out components for storage or anything like that. What you see is what you get. The laptop is built mostly out of plastic components, which is kind of what you expect in this price range. The OS is Chrome so you use your Google login to use this device. It also comes with a padded laptop bag, which is a nice add in.
This is a nice laptop for a light user like a student or me who just uses it to surf the web. I've had no issues playing around on it. In this price range I think it performed well and would recommend!

Amazing power and ergonomically balanced.

This is my second battery powered string trimmer that I've owned. My old one is specific to a certain big box home improvement store and did the job for the amount of trimming I need. After a few years of use I did find it hard to keep a full charge on my old one.
This Greenworks has officially blown the competition out of the water.
The first thing I noticed was the weight of the battery. It's big and heavy, but the thing this trimmer has going for it is the fact that it's balanced properly. I can't say the same for my previous trimmer which was very hard on my back. The greenworks also comes with a strap that is adjustable and mounts to a perfectly balanced spot on the trimmer. Once again, this design is well thought out. The enclosed battery and battery charger are large but not too big. There is a fan on the charger to keep things cool while charging.
First mow of the season I decided to break out the new Greenworks. Holy cow. This thing has power like no battery powered trimmer I've used before. It cut thru the slightly overgrown weeds and areas that had been growing thru our warmer than usual winter. I accidentally had it set on the higher setting and the amount of grass and weeds that were being thrown on my legs was ridiculous. It's almost as if the plastic guard on the back that's used to shield grass wasn't made large enough. Highly recommend the use of thick pants when using this. The trigger his pressure sensitive so if you would like to have the motor spin a little less fast, don't press on the trigger as hard.
I was so amazed with this I went in and ranted and raved to my wife about the trimmer.
To put it simply this trimmer is downright worth it. The cost of the trimmer, the weight and balance and the insane amount of power it has makes me recommend this trimmer to anyone in the market. You won't be disappointed.

How comfortable are they? Do they feel like they're going to fall out with rigorous exercise (running) or do they have a secure fit a majority of the time?
These fell out of my ears while I was doing nothing. They don't feel secure. The sound on these are great but working out and exercising with these on will probably not be a good idea.
