Can't be nice about this one, this movie was just flat out horrible! I've always said that with M. Night you either really love his movie or you really hate it, as there seems to be no in between with this guy and this movie was horrible! Just in case I didn't say it already, this movie is horrible!
The material for this movie had the potential of delivering the message that it was trying to deliver in a big way, but missed the mark completely with the acting being as horrible at it was. Seriously, I thought I was watching a school play or something....that's how bad the acting was. I just couldn't believe it. Even Mark playing the teacher was horrible and his girlfriend that he was with....give me a break! Everyone from Mark to the Military guy to the citizens themselves were just horrible.
I was warned too, but failed to heed them b/c with M. Night you either really like his movie or you really hate it, so I figured I'd give it a try anyway and how wrong I was. Save yourself from becoming another victim of this movie and don't buy it!
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Everything
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This movie had me crackin' up from beginning to end. The cast of comedians in this movie will have you doing the same if you like to laugh. Would definitely recommend.

Nice stand

This stand looks and feels great, but is a bit pricy for my taste; however, I needed a special stand quick. It was easy to assemble for someone used to doing this, but for a novice user this could have been somewhat of a problem due to the instructions being extremely basic. Still though, it holds my 30" tube TV and components with no problem. As long as it works it's ok in my book!
What's great about it: Easy setup, nice and strudy
What's not so great: Instructions needed help, a bit pricy for a basic stand
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pulls 'em down with no problem

VERY easy to assemble and it does just what it's advertised to do...pull down off-air HD channels. Tried this antenna on all three of my HD TVs and it works great! The HD channels come in crystal clear with no issues. What more can you ask for?
What's great about it: Pulls down off-air HD channels with no problem, very affordable
What's not so great: none

Jump into a good movie

This is a pretty good movie. It has a decent storyline and the special effects are amazing. The Blu-Ray resolution and sound add to the excitement. The only bag I had with it is that I wish it had more action, but even without that this movie is great.
What's great about it: Decent storyline and great special effects
What's not so great: Needed a touch more action

Great drive

I purchased this drive to upgrade from the 60GB drive in my PS3 when it got down to below 10GB of free space and couldn't be more pleased. This drive spins at a much faster RPM (7200 RPM) than the pre-installed drive and has more room than a little bit for all my data. My games load much quicker and runs smoother when accessing information from the drive. It runs extremely quiet also while keeping cool. Been using it now for about a month and haven't had a problem yet. Would definitely recommend.
What's great about it: Fast, quiet, easy to install
What's not so great: none yet

Scary good!

I knew this movie was going to be good, but didn't know it was going to be this good. This is one of the best vampire movies I've ever seen and was well worth the money. On Blu-Ray too so you already know it's going to look and sound amazing! As if being in a town that's pitch black dark for 30 24-hour days isn't scray enough, you throw in some nasty blood sucking freaky sounding vampires and you've got a problem. Not only do the vampires look truly different from the norm, but even the way they move and communicate will bug you out, especially when it comes to the boss man. If you're into vampire movies, you'd do yourself a huge injustice by not picking this up!
What's great about it: Plenty of action, gore, thrills, and suspense
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great movie

I'd never heard of this movie hitting the theathers or anything, but heard plenty when it came out on DVD and Blu-Ray so I figured I'd give it a chance and was very pleased. The storyline is strong and the acting is 100% on point. Don't want to spoil it for you, but as you watch the movie you'll kinda see the brothers step into their true roles as this family goes through it. Great movie!
What's great about it: Great cast of actors to push a great storyline
What's not so great: a bit on the long side
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just what I expected

Saw this one coming a mile away. My wife was so intent on seeing this movie though and thought it worthy of Blu-Ray status, but 20-30 minutes into the movie she admitted the movie was a drag and turned it off. A movie about possibly the last man on earth...come on, you knew it was going to be dry. Will gave a believeable performance and all, but the movie simply flat-lined b/c not a lot was going on with this one man other than him going crazy. Put this one in the reject pile.
What's great about it: Special effects were decent and the acting wasn't bad
What's not so great: bad storyline for a movie
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent movie

This is a pretty decent movie. Heard a lot of mixed reviews on it and it's definitely one of those "you really hate it" or "you really like it" type of movies. Personally, I thought it was a decent movie. Not too over the top and the acting was all right for this type of movie. Other than the monsters looking kind of "broken" the movie is definitely worth a watch.
What's great about it: Plenty of surprises, blood, and fear
What's not so great: Monsters could have been designed to look scarier and more complete
I would recommend this to a friend!

CAN'T GET PS3 TO WORK ON MY HUGHESNET INTERNET FOR GAMING
Unfortunately, the news won't be good for your situation. Hughesnet is a satellite ISP, which means that the signal has to travel all the way from earth to space and then back again. Because of this, there is a VERY noticeable lag time and you can't get "real-time online gaming". Basically, any game you try to play online on PS3, Xbox, or PC won't play correctly due to that lag time. If you're able to swich to a local ISP through DSL or cable high speed Internet, then you'll be good to go. Otherwise, with Hughesnet you're going to ge stuck with playing games offline. Sorry for the bad news.

Will Upconvert dvd player play blueray disk?
I have a visio 32 lcd hd 1080p tv and a upconvert dvd player. Will blue ray disk play on the player?
Unfortunately not. Upconvert DVD players can only upconvert regular DVDs to try and get close to HD quality resolution, but not 100%. For blu-ray discs playback, you'll need to buy a stand alone blu-ray player or Playstation 3. There's many stand alone blu-ray players for under $200 that play great nowa days. I recently purchased the Sony BDP-S360 blu-ray player on a really good sale and it plays both DVDs and blu-ray disc with no problems for well under $200.

should i get gh5 or lego rock band for my first game
I would definitely go with Guitar Hero 5 instead of Lego Rock Band. Even though Lego Rock Band isn't out yet, that whole line of Lego games just gets old fast. GH5 however is already out and has proven itself to be a very good game with high ratings all around. Don't forget that the Guitra Hero series also has a pretty good track record for fun downloadable content, which I can't say the same for those Lego games.
