This is a very good IPS panel. Being IPS it is not as bright as others but it has better viewing angles. Still looking good at an angle was more important to me than the boost in brightness.
The remote was weird for me at first but after using it for a bit I really like it and wish the pointer function was built into my harmony.
I have not played with the sound much as I use a receiver but I did test the internal speakers to be sure they worked and they sounded better than most TV speakers to me.
If you are not worried about the TV looking good off center you should shop around some. If off center viewing is important to you stop here. You are not going to get anything that is enough improvement to warrant much money. That statement does not include OLED of course if you can afford it thats the way to go.

It is typical Apple as far as build quality etc, it works very well and the battery life is very good. Using gestures on the mouse is nice and once you get used to it very fast.I took a star off because the ergonomics are not great. It is a little too small and short/thin. I have large hands but I think a little larger would have been a better compromise between small and large handed people. I bet even people with small hands would like it a little taller.

USB-C is great but still have more USB-A stuff of course and need to connect to a TV sometimes. The adapter works great and the USB-A is 3.0 so it's fast. I knocked off a star because the HDMI will only do 4k at 30Mhz not 60.

I have both and the Mac is better for sure. For a Windows laptop in this price range it is a good screen but nothing great. Remember some of the cost of this laptop is the Nvidia graphics and two hard drives. It will work for PS etc but it is not as good as other high end screens.

will this work on a VOIP phone system
Depends, If the phone system is already setup and you are just adding this in to get more ports for other things I think it will coexist with the rest of the network fine. If you are starting from scratch you will need to check with the manufacturer of the phone system to see what the phones require. Generally speaking you will want to have the phones on their on VLAN and they are often powered by the switch as well (POE). This is not a programmable switch and is not POE either so my knee jerk response is no not if you don't already have the phone system setup.

Connected TV to a laptop via HDMI, but the image on TV is cropped. Tabs on Chrome browser are not visible when maximized. How do I adjust?
In the settings for picture I think it was in the advanced area you can turn on and off image expansion. I don't think that is what it is called in the menu but just play with them and you will find it.

I NEED SOUND FROM THE FRONT NOT THE SIDE FOR HEARING IMPAIRED, DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING ?
Best bet is a sound bar. Yes it's an additional purchase but it will be louder and have better sound when loud. Also it is not tied to the TV so when you get a new TV you can use the sound bar with it.
