Has some downfalls

Ok so the sound quality sounds great on playback. But if you're doing voice over with FCP you cannot hear playback you have to constantly remove it from jack to hear sound and hope you remember to put it back in once you begin/restart the voice over. Also I attached it to my 70D while filming and picked up no sound from the mic. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I'll prob returning this one.

I like the battery I think it lasts for a decent amount of time but if you're serious about recording and are using it constantly or if you are using it to take moments on vacation buy two batteries. I always have back up batteries for my DSLR. So it's practice to do the same for this, especially bc video burns the battery life quickly.
