High Security + Easy Wireless Setup

The Defender 2K wireless camera system offers highly detailed camera security in a wireless, easy set-up method simplified by a mobile app.
The 2) provided cameras simply plug into a wall outlet. The camera data is transmitted wirelessly. Depending on where you locate the 2) cameras, you may need to install a wall outlet. Be sure to test both cameras thoroughly at the locations you prefer to be sure their wireless video signals reach the base solidly. Rain, wind & other inclement weather can adversely affect the transmitted video, so I recommend a full week of testing before drilling holes to run the wall outlets (if needed).
The cameras transmit clear, bright images with 127 degree viewing angle. They are well built & are quite heavy duty.
The base unit, which contains the HDD, must plug into your router; it cannot be connected to the internet wirelessly. The base unit contains a cooling fan, presumably for the built-in 1TB hard drive. Unfortunately, this fan is anything but silent; I moved it out of my private office, as I did not want to tolerate the constant fan noise.
This security camera system is extremely flexible & is designed to be future-proof; you can configure many options when desired. However the set-up is an antiquated system & is not what you would expect from a modern security camera system today.
Video quality is excellent during the well lit day time, but it quickly falls to fair at night as darkness sets in.
One of the best features is: No monthly fees. You can choose to self-monitor, or you use a paid monitoring service. With no contract or fees, the Defender 2K Wireless Surveillance System offers a high quality, value priced alternative, complete with a mobile app, to meet your security needs for the foreseeable future.

The Belkin BOOST UP 5W Qi Certified Wireless Charging Pad is easy to use, charges dependably & has a small footprint, so it does not take up much night stand or desk space.
I use it on the latest iPhone XS Max and it charges this phone through the Apple Silicon Case without fail.
Simply sit the phone on the Wireless Charging Pad and the phone beeps & the charging light on the phone confirms that it is charging.
There is a pencil size green charging light on the Pad that glows when the phone is charging, as well. The small size of this green LED is ideal, as it is not too bright to keep you awake at night. You can block the green LED completely, if desired, by rotating the phone on the pad so it blocks the green light.
The Charging Pad includes a black USB wall adaptor & a 4' USB cable that plugs into the pad.
CONCLUSION: This Belkin Charging Pad is an outstanding value & is a highly dependable appliance. It earned a 5-Star Rating.

The Acton II Voice Wireless Speaker with Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant is Marshall through and through, solid to the core. Equipped with a Far Field Microphone array, a 4" single driver that plays down to 50Hz & 2) tweeters that play to 20Khz. Amazing classic Marshall sound rocks out!
Virtually no distortion is heard up to 80% of full volume. Above that nearly deafening level, the high frequencies acquire a slightly raspy sound.
The cabinet size of the Acton II is perfect for most interior spaces, unlike the larger Stanmore, which offers pristine sound with an oversized cabinet.
The 4" driver is powered by a 25 Watt digital amp; each 0.75" tweeter is powered by a dedicated 8 Watt digital amp.
Dimensions: 10.4 x 6.3 x 5.9 (W x H x D-inches).
Weight: 6.6 pounds.
Inputs: Alexa + Bluetooth & 3.5mm aux port.

The far field microphone is unbelievably sensitive, even with the volume cranked up to "Volume 7".
Possible Improvement? The iOS App is easy to set up, but will occasionally lack control. Thankfully, the onboard controls are 100% dependable & even when the iOS App did not respond, the volume, bass, midrange & treble controls on the Marshall made the desired adjustment instantly.
CONCLUSION: Marshall scored a "Perfect 10" with this speaker & I cannot recommend a single area for improvement. This is one Rocking Speaker with Alexa that means serious business. I highly recommend this speaker!

Powerful Blender with Features Galore

The Ninja Smart Screen Kitchen System is a 1400 Watt powerhouse. Depending on what cup you install, the smart screen literally displays just the unique features applicable to that cup. While this is a cool feature, I found it to be a little disappointing because I wanted to know what other features would be available if I used a different cup. Unfortunately there is no master feature list, so I found myself switching cup after cup just to read the features.
The machine is heavy duty, however the cups are fairly thin plastic. So what you have is a super powerful motor, a well engineered machine, and cups which will hopefully survive the agitation.
The other unique feature is the ability to add oxygen at the top of the blender. I honestly could not discern the difference nor see a tangible benefit with this feature.
Unfortunately, my pantry is small, and I found storing all the accessories for this machine to be burdensome. While I highly recommend it, the user should be aware that there are indeed many accessories which will have to be stored, but you will find no more powerful blender on the market today.

Luxurious Power Cloaked in Leather

The HP Spectre Folio touch-screen laptop is a powerful performer, with the Intel Core i7 processor. Opening this laptop for the first time was quite a pleasant surprise. The case is actually made of leather with a beautiful cognac finish. It weighs 3.2 lb. storage is 256GB SSD.
I charged the battery in about 2.5 hours. I got 10 hours of life fully charged.
It features a 2 level backlit keyboard and has an excellent feel to the keyboard.
Screen resolution is 1920 x 1080, quite impressive.
CONCLUSION: With 2) Thunderbolt 3 jacks, this machine is ready to work and is sure to draw attention, in the boardroom or the classroom. Serves as a laptop, media or tablet and includes a stylus. Absolutely silent - no fans! Love the 3.5mm headphone jack. Highly Recommended.

This is a wonderful companion tool to the Phillips Norelco rotary razor, which I also own. Both use the same charger, and both our built with similar premium build quality.

Powerful User Friendly Photo Editing Software

I am a semi professional photographer and switched from adobe Photoshop several years ago to the much easier to use Photoshop Elements. This 2019 upgrade is it real bargain and offers many new capabilities while maintaining a solid, easy to use platform.
Elements is a wonderful organizational tool for photos as well, and allows you to sort by individual, date, event, location, and many other options.
The guided edits are amazing and walk you through photo editing with 53 separate options. They are extremely easy to use.
Collages and slide shows are very intuitive and easy to create.
CONCLUSION: Whether you are already a Photoshop Elements user or whether you use a different software platform, Elements offers a powerful editing platform that I believe is the best in the industry and is very economically priced. Elements earns my highest recommendation!

The beautiful design & exceptional build quality are immediately evident. The aluminum squared design keeps it from rolling off of your desk. It feels strong & unbreakable to your hands & does not have the fragile plastic feel so common with the pencils offered today. In the hands of children, this tool, thankfully, feels less breakable than plastic competitors.
The Crayon does not work with the iPad Pro. I hope future iPad Pro versions work natively with Crayon, or Crayon can work with existing iPad Pro's. The iPad Pro is my go-to tablet & I would love to use Crayon on the Pro.
Any Lightning Power Cord can be used to charge Crayon, which is a huge plus.

How long should the motor last? After cleaning my bottom row, the motor loses power. ♿
If you were having what sounds like the motor losing power after just cleaning the bottom row, I would take it back to where you bought it, and ask for a new unit. This motor should last for years, and I certainly do not see any slow down of the motor each time.

When are they going to release a wireless version? I don't like cables. this sucha nueisance can you fix?
Like you, I preferred the battery version, so I bought a smaller, less powerful, battery operated Waterpik. If you get the opportunity to read my review, you will see that it was completely ineffective and a waste of time. This tool is so powerful, I cannot see them offering a battery powered version because the additional cost would most likely raise it to another hundred dollars over the existing price. So I’m putting up with the cord in the bathroom because the results are phenomenal.

Personally I use the same toothpaste, Colgate or Crest, that are used with my Sonicare toothbrush.

I always put warm water in the part for flossing but the water feels very cold when it goes into my mouth. Does anyone else have that problem?
I noticed the same thing, but since I’ve only owned mine for a week, I am playing with the water temperature. Right now I am using nearly hot water and it does feel better when it first goes in your mouth. I do not think it’s a problem. I actually suspect that the water pic holds a certain amount of water in the pump that naturally would be room temperature, and it takes probably 10 seconds for the new hotter water that you have added to enter the pump. Notice that the temperature in your mouth feels warmer after about 10 seconds? That is my guess on the reason that we feel the water is cold.
One thing I will try is to run the floss 5 to 10 seconds in the sink before putting it in a mouth to see if that warms the water about letting the warmer water fill up the pump.

Does it record movement
Yes, BUT - the cameras respond VERY SLOWLY. In a high performing WiFi area, my cameras take 15 - 20 seconds to respond to movement on a good day. Read my review for detailed reason for this. What you get in return for such slow responding cameras is very long 3-6 month battery life between charges. If you hope to catch a package thief, you will be disappointed. The camera will wake up after the thief has departed. If you hope to catch a thief breaking into your house, this is the ideal system.

I already have a full simplisafe system. Can I purchase this set for the additional parts?
Most likely, you cannot. I have a SimpliSafe system from about 3 years ago. I cannot merge the 2) systems. I can use the same door stitches, but I cannot add the cameras to my old SimpliSafe system.

Do you have tonoay for monthly monitoring
No, but all you get without paying for monitoring is real time viewing without the ability to capture or save video. Please read my review carefully, as I point out that you need the $25 / Month monitoring plan to capture continuous video from the app. This fact is not advertised clearly.
