This years Madden has some pretty groundbreaking change. Considering previous titles and features, this is one of the more packed feature sets in probably a decade. MUT squads, Longshot, and Play Now Live, all together with a new engine make this the most desirable Madden in years. Definitely worth buying!

Take your Xbox One to the limit with EA Sports FIFA 18. If you have played the last 3/4 Fifa games then you know what you are getting.
Presentation is nice, fantastic choice of leagues/teams, a decent amount of game modes but with familiar gameplay and feel which ultimately is its downfall.
Fifa 18 is not a bad game by any means, but for EA to churn out the same game every year, its becoming increasingly apparent and frustrating for some fans.
Pes 2018 is still infront in terms of gameplay and 'realistic' graphics but Fifa 18 will appeal to the more casual football fan/gamer who prefer a pick up and play style of football.

Starting on Talos one alone and surrounded by creatures and other-worldly monstrosities has never felt so gripping. Instilling a sense of dread early on with limited resources and ammo, constantly being bombarded by mimics disguised as coffee mugs, rolls of toilet paper and other non-inspiring objects.
As you progress you'll find blue-prints enabling you to build ammunition, weapons and consumables. Rewarding those who like to check every nook and cranny. Aside from scavenging you're able to peek into the lives of those stationed aboard Talos one via open terminals. A glimpse into the day to day routines, to the more nefarious deeds of the employees. You also gain access to security terminals where you can locate every (and I mean every) employee on board living or dead. Some terminals will also yield maps and schematics as well.
The skill tree at first seems very overwhelming where each upgrade in the beginning seems like a monumental choice. At a certain point in the game you have the choice of infusing alien skills into your play-style enabling you make some truly devastating builds. As you progress and determine the play-style you want the choices you want to make become less daunting.
The game takes you various facilities around the space station, each section has its own unique story and characters tied to them. From a sprawling garden to lavish lounge and even exiting the station for some flight among the stars. Sadly, the load times are quite long and become increasingly frustrating toward the end of the game due to backtracking.
All in all I loved almost every aspect of this game. The various enemy types, weapons, characters and locales make this a truly horrifying and unique experience. From the lonely abandoned hallways to the endless expanse of floating around Talos one, very few games nowadays can hit that sweet spot between horror and action but PREY nails it.

Battlefield one is the excellent counter to call of duty's infinite warfare, and a perfect answer to the longing of many gamers (myself included) to play a shooter that doesn't cast them as a barely human cyborg, powered by cybernetic implants. It is the difficulty of BF1 that makes it so compelling. It is incredibly inconvenient every time you reload your weapon, and your character takes 30 seconds or so to do it, but at the same time, a little grin creeps on to my face each time it happens. Health is hard to regain, unless you have a medkit, and it is not uncommon to be unable to ADS because of the gasmask on your face, protecting you from a deadly cloud of mustard gas. It's these little details, that make this came so compelling.
The story is incredibly powerful as well. From the opening sequence where you play as about 5 different characters, all of whom inevitably perish, the game powerfully conveys the hopelessness of a war where battlefield tactics had yet to catch up to the death dealing technologies of the period. The Short anthology type stories do a great job of highlighting specific aspects of the war. These stories are extremely moving, as they manage to connect you to the characters and create meaningful development over the course of only three or four levels.
BF1 also features an immensely fun multiplayer. The most enjoyable aspect of which is the new operations feature; a bit of a cross between domination, and rush, with the large scale chaos of conquest. One match will take about 3 rounds, and sometimes moves to a different map. Usually at least once in a course of a match, one side is reinforced by a zeppelin, train, or dreadnought battleship. The scope of the matches is monstrous. Each time you spawn in, the camera zooms into a spot on the map, speaking to how small, helpless, and inconsequential each soldier must have felt; especially when there are things like Zeppelins looming in the sky, raining death on all who dare to venture underneath.
Whether you are a hardcore fps gamer, or someone who is interested in history, and compelling heroism, Bf1 is a mightily entertaining experience.

Played the demo and knew this would be a day one purchase. Nothing against NBA 2K which is a great series I just wanted something that was different and more accessible.
The graphics in NBA Live 18 are comparable to 2K, yes there are a few faces that need to be re-scanned but NBA 2K has the same issues. I'm loving The One mode any like the level up system.
Overall I'm loving this game and bounce from Live Ultimate Team to The One story mode. Great job and solid foundation to grow on. Well done EA Sports!

I had a great time with the game. It gave me a throwback to the old days of ME1. The stories are well written, the traits of the different alien races are well presented and the gameplay is great. Yes, the game is a bit buggy and sometimes loads in characters a bit late (at least on xone), but it is nothing game breaking and just requires a bit of patience from time to time. I finished the game within 75 hours and during that time only once I encountered one bad bug in a quest where I had to kill myself to progress....so again nothing special here. The game is in a good state now. The skill system is very nice and easy to understand, giving your followers the right abilities allows you to synergize and create effective comobos. Also the weapon crafting offers a great variety of options. You can create weapons that shoot lighting beams, which melt through shields, or weapons which shoot explosive projectiles. The only thing I didn't like as much was the music in the game, it just didn't hit my spot (but whatever...to each his own)
All in all i had a great time with the game, it really fell in line with the earlier mass effects....too bad they closed the developer team down.

Great game, great update. Well done guys! This was one of my favorite games last generation, and to play it again on my XBOX ONE with better visuals is a joy. Great graphics, great combat and a good long campaign. Just kinda weird this wasn't released before Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition. But honestly, go buy this as it's a great game at a great price plus we all want and need Darksiders 3!

After playing NBA 2k15 and NBA 2k16, I can see and appreciate the improvement in most areas!
The game-play still has some minor flaws, but this can be easily forgotten when you find yourself caught up in the action of this wonderful simulation and -without a doubt- best sports game on the market!

The depth is stunning, so many modes and aspects to explore, you might spend the entire year until NBA 2k18 hits the shelves just going through the different parts the game offers.
Regarding the game-play changes: the focus is more on defense now, steal mechanics are changed and passes get picked off a lot easier (which can be frustrating at times), running fast-breaks is a lot harder now as someone always seems to get in your way (even when you're going coast-to-coast with fast ball-handlers) and there is actually a real chance of a 3-pointer going in now (yay!).
The most important change might actually have come in the form of a new way the MyTeam economy works: the emerald rarity cards are more easily obtained from packs now, which feels a lot better than it used to the previous years, but in order to not screw up the supply/demand-balance, a set is locked now once you complete all cards of one team to claim the respective historic reward card.
Thus the economic stability might actually last longer this time around before the market crashes, without card prices skyrocketing early.

In a nutshell: the best sports game out there has just gotten better and sure-to-come updates and game-play improvements will most likely even improve the already mind-blowing experience!

An excellent upgrade over last year's game. You now have more control than ever in passing and creating chances. If you are a long time FIFA player it takes some getting used to, but it is more rewarding than ever when it all comes together. The Journey game mode is very well done and a pleasant surprise. I agree with other reviewers who said there is not much replay value here, but it is a lot of fun to play through once before going back to other game types. Everyone always gets mad at EA for never changing anything, well, they listened, and the result is the best FIFA yet.
