Awesome continuation to the Assassin's Creed saga!

I've played almost every single Assassin's Creed game (Skipped Syndicate) and have been a long time fan since the beginning. Although Unity was a huge disappointment, this is them most complete, fluent, and content filled world that Ubisoft has made and it is safe to say that this game is excellent. The graphics are absolutely superb, the combat is intense and rewarding, and the music and new additions such as your pet eagle are just amazing. THE MAP IS MASSIVE and I can see myself playing this game for at least 100 hours with all the content. Strap yourself in and transport yourself to Egypt... MY ONLY COMPLAINT about this game however is the lack of a fluent cover system. Without this, it makes stealth more difficult as you're never quite sure how well you're hidden. Aside from that, pick this game up.

Picked this game up after the very latest update and they fixed a lot of the major bugs and texture issues since its rocky early access release. This game is the absolute definition of tense and suspenseful as you try to scrape together scattered resources in the world to survive. I can't even tell you how many crazy and memorable experiences I've had with squadmates and even alone as well. It's an early release title on Xbox so the experience may not be as smooth and polished in the first stages but it is still very much playable and enjoyable. The PC version is the better of the 2 in it's current state and in general but console players should have no trouble adapting.

As a console FPS gaming enthusiast, I spend a majority of my gaming time playing online multiplayer (Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Overwatch & Halo 5) and after using this controller for the past couple of weeks and owning the stock Xbox One wireless controller and a PDP controller, this is the one that I pick up every time when I play online. The primary criteria for a controller for me is how it compares to the excellent OEM XBox controller and does it offer an edge to my gameplay over the stock controller, and here is my take :
DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY
- The controller is about the same size is the OEM Xbox controller with the main gameplay buttons positioned are where you'd normally expect them to . Only the power & menu buttons are repositioned
- The black ABS plastic is thick and feels strong, but it’s a bit more glossy than expected giving it a cheaper look and add to that the blinged out D-Pad & RT/LT Trigger buttons in gold - you've got a controller that is not the most pretty to look at
- The controller handle grips are longer and thinner than the OEM Xbox controller and does feel different at first but once you get used to it, it feels ergonomic and does not put any undue pressure on your palms
- In addition the handle grips and the rear of the controller are textured (lines in the front and a carbon fiber pattern on the rear) for a better grip
- The LB/RB shoulder buttons are MUCH smaller than the OEM Xbox controller and does take getting used to while the RT/LT shoulder trigger buttons are shaped exactly like the OEM controller (see pics)
- The reason why most of the 3rd party controllers on the market today are wired (with the sole exception of $170+ Scuff controllers) is because Xbox One uses a proprietary wireless protocol for their controllers which is probably very expensive to license, so its hard to be critical on this controller for being wired
- Having said that the 9.8Ft nylon braided cord is PERMANENTLY attached at the controller end (as opposed to using a standard Micro USB) and there is a proprietary connector in between the USB-A that plugs into the console. Not good
- Despite being lighter than the Xbox controller it still feels adequately weighted and balanced in your hands
- You can swap the thumbsticks out to match your preference whether you like the stock xbox controller feel, taller wider or dome shaped thumbsticks - there's one for every preference.

- Since this controller is Windows compatible I used a program called 'Game Controller Tester' on the Windows 10 store to check the accuracy and performance of its analog sticks and they performed very well with full 100% motion in all directors with no random ghost movements or deadzones. I HIGHLY recommend you to try this app you to check controllers.
- There are TWO (instead of four mentioned in the listing) programmable buttons at the back of the controller which allow you to duplicate or map the "A,B,X,Y" buttons , the "LB, RB" Shoulder triggers buttons to them
- Programming the two buttons is simple and done on the controller itself without requiring any on-screen setup or software and are game independent
- For example if you want to assign the Reload or the 'X' key to the rear-right button - You simply have to (1) Press the Program Button at the rear (2) Identify the button you want to map : In this case press the rear right button (3) Assign the Button you Want to Duplicate : In this case by pressing the "X" button and just like that the Reload or the (X) key is now duplicated to the Rear-Right button
- The rear button positions are ideally placed behind the grips, are easily operated by your middle fingers and do offer an advantage in gameplay as you dont have to move your thumbs off the sticks to perform an assigned function like jump, crouch or reload.
- However the real game changer here are the trigger locks, something I did not expect on an inexpensive controller, as they limit the motion of the RT/LT triggers right upto their actuation point and cutting their 'dead' zone by almost 75%. If you prefer high precision or semi-automatic weapons in your FPS games, then can get in significantly more number of shots faster than you would on a regular controller. The importance of that in a tense encounter with another player cannot be understated.
- The impulse triggers and rumble motors feel just about the same intensity of the Xbox one controller

Why take away something that's universally used (Mirco USB & USB-A cables) where one could use custom length cables to suit their needs and replace it with a non-replaceable proprietary cable?
- Other reviewers have pointed out that the swappable thumbstick caps can get loose if changed frequently, however I dont see myself changing them that often once I've locked in my preference

South Park: The Fractured But Whole once again completely succeeds in immersing the player in the hilarious world of the eponymous TV show, this time focusing on the kids establishing Cartman's superhero movie franchise. Out are the capes and staffs and in are the masks and colourful tights. You once again play as the New Kid who gets sucked in the thick of it: fighting sixth graders, farting on strippers and gathering allies. All characters feel authentic and the jokes are on point. As an actual video game, The Fractured But Whole improves greatly upon its predecessor. Combat is now grid-based and feels more strategic; costumes are more varied and more numerous and bonuses from artifacts are very noticeable. The story is perhaps the one aspect that isn't necessarily better than that in Stick of Truth. While its better paced and more coherent, it lacks some ridiculousness and scale of the last, making it ultimately more forgettable.
As a verdict, the game is a must-buy if you loved the first game or are a fan of the show who for some reason didn't get the chance to play Stick of Truth. This game will satisfy you if you thought the TV show was a bit lacking lately, even if it draws some of its humour from some of the later seasons' inside jokes.

There have been a few fighting games that have already come out the last year, and for the most part they’ve been very good. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite whilst not as good as some of the other fighting games this year is a very good addition to the genre and it’s a game packed with fun and decent action. The fighting gameplay has been done really well and their is a great deal of strategy to be had when in battle. The strategy in the game is mainly down to the inclusion of infinity stones, and this inclusion makes every fight feel unique and keeps things fresh throughout. The story in the game was very enjoyable, and my favourite part about it was that they made every character feel important, which is great. The roster of characters though wasn’t as big as I thought it was going to be and there are plenty of characters missing, which is a bit of a let down. In terms of content the game has plenty for you to sink your teeth into, and each mode feels as though it’s had a lot of effort put into it. My favourite thing about the game is that it has catered to all skill levels so nobody gets left out, which is great. The presentation side of the game is something I was really disappointed with. The visuals and sound design are really lacking, and you just get a generic feel with nothing much standing out, which is a shame. At the end of the day Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a game that ticks a lot of boxes, and the most important thing is that it remains enjoyable throughout. I wouldn’t say it’s as good as previous fighters this year, but it does enough to join these fighters and it can at times offer a unique experience. Fans of Marvel and Capcom will enjoy this game a great deal and it gets the main aspects right so it gets a big thumbs up from me.

If you're booting this game up with an urge to kill some bad guys, to be the hero protagonist that saves everybody, or mindless fun that doesn't make you have to think that hard, this game is going to fight back against you until you get with the program or quit out. You aren't a big, strong protagonist, but rather a helpless kid in a colossal, deteriorating castle with a small army of animated armor trying to get you. Both the environment and the people around you are out to get you and you can't fight back. This isn't a horror game, however, because it adds in the addition of Trico, the big birdcatdog. Trico objectively has no reason to help you but does so anyways because it takes a liking to you.
There's points in the game where you have to navigate the environment to help Trico progress but even then, there's holes in the wall that Trico could realistically jump through, and then you'd be abandoned. You need Trico to help navigate the massive, crumbling world that's far too large for the kid. You need Trico to fight off the armor sets. And there's really very little you're capable of on your own.
This world is gorgeously realized on the ps4 and exploring it alongside your companion is a treat. Trico itself looks incredible from the very obvious care that went into its library of animations to make it look real to the way different times of day light up its feathers just right. While I ranted about how players could be annoyed at how helpless they are, the game still does strike a gameplay balance of guiding Trico along because Trico more or less is as smart as a dog. Personable, but not that smart. The soundtrack is good but sparsely used; the game instead opts for the various ambiances of the wind/fire/wildlife/etc. matched with the various noises Trico makes.
To wrap this up, players who enter into this game not wanting to care about Trico are going to be in for a rough ride, as the game is going to fight against you the whole way. On the other hand, if you accept that you are the helpless kid and that you need Trico, then you'll find that Trico can help indicate where you can go when you're stuck by looking, pawing, and barking at the place. Funnily enough, the people willing to work with Trico and not just ignore it could probably find a way to progress faster than if they stubbornly searched alone. That's just the way they designed it.

This has to be one of the best sport's games I've ever played. The presentation is fantastic as it features show track, a stat based replay that makes you feel like you are watching a replay on MLB.com. The career mode is the best part about for me, as you travel in between the AA's, AAA's and major's. The online is only ok as there is still some lag when you play. The retro mode is nothing to brag about and the ultimate team like mode is actually decent. The player's don't look real though but the stadiums look almost exactly lie their real life counter part. Overall this is a buy now game.
