Beautifully crafted toy.. The attention to detail is amazing.. The packaging is done very nicely.. And it works great with smash brothers and hyrule warriors! This product is very simple to use with both games!
Keep in mind that some games are "read" only while some are "Read/Write" Basically Hyrule Warriors is read only meaning this product just unlocks content.. (Costumes for Hyrule Warriors).. Super Smash Brothers is currently the only read and write meaning you can save data to this!!
Also keep in mind that due to the limitation of these items it can only save 1 game per amiibo!! Basically if the new zelda game that comes out is read/write (No idea if it will be or not) you will have to purchase another to save to the amiibo!! BUT if it is only read like Hyrule Warriors, you can use this same amiibo.. They can be used with 1 read/write game and unlimited read games at the same time :)

First off for those of you that were able to experience the beta the final release version is very much improved. Overall the gameplay is very smooth. 4 hours in and the game has already exceeded my post beta expectations. The shooting and QTE finishers are very satisfying. I will not ruin the gameplay but I will say that the story is a direct omage to the original doom. Im not going to bore you with a long and drawn out review of the game but I will say that this is well worth a buy. If you are a fan of the previous doom series then this will likely be your new favorite. The graphics are a little disappointing but ID graphics engine hasn't quite been up to par for quite some time so this is top be expected. I will say though the graphics by no means are poor just a tad washed out IMO. The game play is very fast paced so if you are one that likes to take things slow then you may not enjoy the game. Much like the multiplayer beta the entire game is fast with tons of in your face action. You will have no problem spending hours on end enjoying the content of the game.

This game does justice for Digimon!

In 2011, Joymax brought Digimon Masters Online to the world Globally while maintaining its Korean home. It had been years since Digimon games were made far in-between titles and GDMO was the only game that was constant because it was online and was constantly being updated. After a petition had gone out ~2012 to get Re:Digitize, the Japanese re-dux of Digitize into a 3DS title, the creators of the games had apparently relented and localized Cyber Sleuth, a vita title from 2015.
It is a step away from the DGMN: World series and is it's own title. In the little time I was able to play with it in my busy schedule, I am extremely happy with it. The nostalgia for the 1990-2000 fans is astounding to play with friends we haven't seen in many years on television. The turn base system is easy for newcomers to video games and to the series itself. The fact that this was a handheld title that was ported to a system, there are obvious thoughts of "Is this really a PS4 game?" - yes, it is and it should be. The story is great. The gameplay is amazing. I have very few gripes about the game being the lazy translation and the wide range of abbreviation/stats one has to keep note of. Otherwise, it is an amazing game and I am extremely happy to see Digimon again. It is fresh change from the same ol': Pokemon, CoD, Halo, etc. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. A+. Bandai's twitter is the best way to contact them with any sort of information!

My expectations were met!

Let me start with this: I love all of the fallout games as well as the elder scrolls games. I've read lots of negative reviews of this game which surprised me. I'm going to address some of those points here. Oblivion is to Fallout 3 as Skyrim is to Fallout 4.
No Skill System: I find this untrue. Any level up grants you points to either pick a perk or put a point into your special. This being said, unlike past fallout games you can't put 10 points into intelligence and be a master of everything. There is no perk that allows you two skill points on level up instead of one. This doesn't so much bother me because the character customization is so much more dynamic because of it. It forces you to strategically allocate your points so that you character specializes in certain things. You can't be a master of all weapons, lock picking, crafting, charisma, and be able to carry as much as you want. This is very similar to the way the skill system in Skyrim is. I love it, it makes the game more challenging and every time I play I can have a different experience.
There aren't enough random quests: I've read this complaint a ton and I have found it to be completely false. I've been playing this game pretty consistently since it's release and have yet to begin the main story line past the initial quest. That being said, random quests don't fall into your lap as easily. As is characteristic of Bethesda you have to talk to people, but there are also tons of quests that aren't marked on the map or initiated in towns. You have to go find them. This means if you fast travel everywhere you won't. There are hidden locations and quests all over the world.
Not enough dialogue options: This is semi true. You only have four options for dialogue when speaking to someone. But it also gives you random options sometimes depending on your skills. Also, if you don't pick certain options you can miss out on items and quests.
Bugs: Yes there are bugs, sometimes you have to initiate a conversation more than once to get it started. Small complaint but annoying. The game also just released so I'm sure there will be a patch in the future. Companions pick up random items and then can't carry the ones you hand them because they are overburdened. It's still an awesome way to get free stuff. The build mode can be buggy but this is usually resolved by exiting and trying again.
Bad graphics: Um no, the graphics are awesome. I'm on the PS4 and I was impressed. If I had an alienware I would probably be blown away.
I love that you don't have to open something to see what is inside it or loot it this would save me time if I didn't find myself opening my pip boy often when I'm trying to close the loot menu, which you don't have to do. This will be resolved when I reprogram my brain to not hit O when I'm done looting.
Overall I am loving this game, it is more difficult, there are more options, and I feel as though this will entertain me for years to come just like Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and Fallout NV have. At least until Bathesda releases another elder scrolls game, which could be years at this rate and then I'll have to allocate my time equally between the two.
Great game. Hours upon hours of entertainment. Worth the money.

Worth going back and dying again.

When From Software first released Dark Souls II for the PC and last-gen consoles we here at Chalgyr's Game Room absolutely loved it. A near-perfect blend between action, brutally challenging gameplay, and traditional roleplaying elements, Dark Souls II was a strong contender for our Game of the Year awards, as well as being one of the titles that a few of us were quite thankful for in our 2014 Thanksgiving article. When we got wind of the remaster that was scheduled for release in April of this year for current-gen systems, and that it would contain the three DLC packs as well as some new content, we just had to get our hands on it and now that we have spent countless hours smiting hollows and dying (a lot), here is our review.
The most notable graphical upgrades come in the form of the framerate and lighting; while the lighting is not as nice as seen in the original E3 videos, it is a significant improvement of the original release. The framerate however, is absolutely glorious as it runs at 60 FPS with a few rare instances of FPS drop (most notably for me was while fighting the Old Iron King in the Iron Keep).
The new higher resolution textures are all clean and look great at 1080p and draw distances, where applicable, are as nice as ever. The one thing I did find that was quite annoying is that there are numerous places where, after killing a hollow, the item that they drop will be suspended above the actual body, I saw it most often in The Lost Bastille and The Iron Keep where it happened enough that it became more than a nuisance. Fortunately it seemed to be limited to just those areas, as it did not seem to happen in other locations with varying heights (like Huntsman's Copse and The Gutter). Beyond that one little issue, Scholar of the First Sin looks gorgeous on the PlayStation 4.
Gameplay has both changed and not changed. I have put about 250 hours or so into the original release and am currently on NG++++ (as I said, we here at Chalgyr's loved the game) so I went into Scholar of the First Sin thinking it would be a breeze. I could not have been more wrong. Enemy patterns and positions have changed significantly, throwing you up against some of the tougher enemies right out of the gate. Just as you enter the Forest of the Fallen Giants you are greeted by a couple of standard Hollow Infantry units and an Ogre.
With the puny weapons that you have access to (even the morningstar that is just off the cliff to Majula), taking on an Ogre and a Hollow Infantry or three is incredibly taxing. I died two or three times in that first mob until I removed my armor and simply went about dodging all over (I started as a Fighter, as I normally go Swordsman in a full Dex build, so I wanted to change things up) getting a hit in here or there to weed out the enemies. That first fight sets the pace for pretty much the entire game, as enemy counts are increased and terrible things, such as a Pursuer appearing at all of the wrong times, happen.
Boss fights seem largely untouched, though that could be because there are generally two summon signs (not including other player summons) outside of the mist door to the boss. If anything the access to more units make things quite easy. Take the Ruin Sentinels in The Lost Bastille; normally you would have the one NPC to help handle all three of them, but in Scholar of the First Sin you get a second NPC that can join, this one a melee character.
The melee character can soak up the damage and then the mage will pound them with Soul Spear (an immensely powerful spell). The two of them were able to take out two of the Sentinels before both were vanquished, leaving me just the third one to kill. While it is easy in the first run, I can only imagine (and hope) that Bonfire Aesthetics or NG+ will significantly increase the difficulty of the boss fights, as they seem to be the only thing that has not truly changed.
While the graphics and mobs got an overhaul, the music and sound effects did not. This is not a bad thing though, as the sound from the original game was absolutely wonderful. The audio conveys both a rich and gloomy atmosphere in Drangleic and the brilliance behind it can stir intense emotions like despair or dread, sadness and helplessness. For a game that can be downright brutal, the masterful audio is just another way for From Software to torment your soul.
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, with its enhanced graphics, altered mobs, new content and the added DLC packs creates what is easily my favorite PlayStation 4 game to date. Between the updates that were made and the solid and wonderful gameplay, Dark Souls II is a must have for any current-gen console owners. Every defeated enemy is a victory unto its own and the payoff is well worth any bit of frustration that you may have with dying regularly.

Kojima Productions ushers in a new era for the Metal Gear Solid V franchise with its newest chapter — Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain — which is set nine years after the fall of Mother Base and the other events in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. The game resumes the storyline in 1984 with the Cold War as the bleak, fear-inducing backdrop, which continues to shape an impending global crisis that potentially cannot be averted. After lying dead to the world in a near-decade-long coma, you finally awaken as Snake, a.k.a. Big Boss, filled with the thirst for revenge.Set off in pursuit of the shadow group, XOF, as Snake in The Phantom Pain, which features an open-world design, giving you ultimate tactical freedom in carrying out your missions and progressing through the game. Thanks to the Fox Engine, you can enjoy cutting-edge visual technology with photorealistic graphics and cinema-quality storytelling, making it feel as if you're truly part of the action. Delve into the dark nature of combat, exploring intense themes, such as the psychology of warfare and the resulting atrocities. Kojima's finest work.

Metal Gear Solid V brings all the greatness of Metal Gear onto these new consoles and lemme tell ya, the hype was real!! Not only does MGSV: Phantom Pain live up to the legendary status of the ones that came before, it may even surpass them and trust me it takes a lot for me to say that. I have been a huge fan since MGS released on PS1 in 1997 or 1998, and I have followed the series loyally and loved every single game thus far but MGSV offers even more. Not only can Snake (Big Boss) now traverse freely as he sees fit and explore the vast world Hideo Kojima has brilliantly laid out for us, but he can do so and still maintain the badass MGS style stealth and shooter-fanatics. He definitely took a huge risk in choosing to expand and sort of make an espionage-RPG, cuz previous MGS titles confined you either in an area, or jungle or facility of some sort. But now, Snake can take and acceprt side missions, recruit new members, liberate enemy bases and expand his own base and earn money to upgrade weapons and gear that you will need to take down tougher enemies. And yes I was skeptical of the whole idea at first, but I am very pleased to say Kojima and Konami knocked it out of the park. There is so much to do, and so many scattered fun Easter Eggs that Kojima has laid out for you, that alone could entice you to continue. And there are tons of eggs for players who have played any of the previous games and the answers he provides on some topics is much appreciated.
The shooting is great. same MGS style battling and stealth espionage style combat returns with all the stuff we loved about it added in the mix with a huge open world to sneak around in. And if your new to Metal Gear, even if sneaking isn't your style, Kojima makes it fit to your needs as well as you will have the full control over whether to not be seen by enemies and take them out silently one by one and covering your tracks by hiding the bodies of the NPC's you subdue or if you prefer you can go in guns a blazing and have every enemy in the Middle East after you at once. The 2nd option is not always possible however, and is much more difficult and I would advise assessing the situation before you commit. The enemies are tough Also, the epic bosses and superhuman abilities they possess make a return and its a joy ro have another chapter in the MGS saga of ultimate boss encounters. I wiont give it away but fans of the series will be pleased.
MGSV also sports the best looking scenery in the series up to date, beautiful, well designed locations. Even Afghanistan (which is where you will begin the story), a vast wasteland of desert sand and sun scorched wildlife somehow manages to look beautiful and alluring. The nights in the desert are also stunning in their own ways and you can tell their was passion put into creating it. You will go to many other locations and all looked and felt just right!!
The story of MGSV is true to the roots of other MGS titles and may seem a little far fetched to some, or unbelieavable even. But one thing that MGS has done from day one is tell a grand story of serious relations but does it in a creative and not so serious way. The content of the plot and the world that has become is all very harsh, brutal and cold. Yet, Kojima manages somehow to craft it in a way to make it enjoyable and not seem so serious and driven like games such as Call of Duty. MGS gives ppl a break of that and allows you to enjoy this ride and lets you ride it the way you want to. Needless to say,the story is full of surprises, betrayal, and old friendly and not so friendly faces of the past and is indeed a story done well and a perfect way to cap off MGS!!! And u don't have to be literate with MGS series at all to enjoy or understand, MGSV has Ocelot your instructor break it down to u as the story goes on. Although, it is much better having knowledge of the other games as there are tons of references, old familiar faces and stones unturned and Kojima really does well in leaving old fans of the series rewarded and satisfied.
So, I'll cap it off with saying not only did Hideo Kojima and his (former??) company Konami manage to make a great open world stealth/rpg/action journey, but they managed to add Metal Gear in the mix of all that and its a formula hard to accept at first but man foes it work wonders. Snake has access to way more weapons, build his own unit of men and expand his home base, decide whether or not to let foes live to join your squad or kill them, have access to TONS of side missions that are all so rewarding in their own right that I did nothing but side quests for a solid 2 weeks. And to top everything off, Kojima threw in a banging 80's soundtrack cassette tapes as goodies you can find and have access to the musicas you going on your missions or whenever you want. So, lemme be the first to say that I have had a blast playing Metal Gear over these years, and that I believe this to be the greatest one yet. I know the whole sort of rpg elements and free to explore world may be too big a pill to swallow for some fans of the genre, but I got over it and accepted it and ended up being grateful for the change. It was time to bring Metal Gear into this age and by doing so, it opens a lot of doors and creates massive opportunities that weren't there before so before you condemn it, go try it!! I can only hope that Kojima and Konami can work things out and that isn't truly the last Metal Gear Solid game!! Its been much fun!!! A must have for even the slightest fans of Metal Gear and even newbies who just like shooting or exploring worlds!!

Finally a dragonball game that brings back memories of the budokai and tenkaichi series. This is by far one of the better entries in recent years. If you were dissatisfied with battle of Z, this game is far better in every single category. The fighting mechanics are great and you'll soon find yourself not wanting to put the controller down. Character customization is an awesome part of this game as you get to create your very own z fighter from a variety of races (i.e. saiyans, nameks, majins, earthlings, Frieza's race). All in all, this game redeems the series for the failed attempts at trying to recreate the success of the ps2 games.
