My wife and I wanted to get something that would track our activities and did not want to wear a bracelet. We settled on the Fitbit One as ideal for our needs. Besides counting steps and calories, it tracks how many sets of stairs you did during a 24 hour period. In addition it measures how well you sleep each nite. If you really want to use it to it's full potential, you can enter exactly what you ate and water drunk each day. At the end of the week it will give you a weekly progress report.
For the money and what it tracks, it is hard to beat this unit.

When I think of vacuums, Hoover is always the first brand that comes to mind. I have owned 3 in my lifetime and growing up, my mother always had Hoovers.
This one is easy to use, light weight, and does a great job of cleaning bare floors, and especially all rugs. The new style of bagless vacuums seem to have so much more power for deep cleaning. It also has a long cord that retracts for easy stowage.
You could buy this model, or pay 5 times as much for an equivalent brand and still not see any difference.

It has a volume control. I wouldn't say it is something that will help if you need "really loud" volume due to hearing loss.

Can I pay to have a Sprint Evo's cracked screen replaced? The rest of the phone still works (including touch functions).
You could probably have the screen replaced, but it will probably cost as much as a new phone. If it is time for an upgrade, go for a new smartphone with more capabilities than an older phone.
I have the Evo 4G, but it is time for me to get a new phone also.
