The microwave I purchased in 1990 finally gave up, so out to replace a great microwave. Over to Best Buy and looking for a replacement... their selection is quite good.
Not needing anything too elaborate, I chose the Panasonic and it is proving to be a very good choice. As with any new product, reading the manual is necessary, and thankfully this unit is not too complicated to work.
So far it is easy to use. My only caution is to measure the inside of your older unit to make sure you get at least the same size or larger. The Panasonic is slightly narrower so a rectangular pan may not be able to spin on the turntable.

Our 26 year old Sony clock radio was dying so we went to Best Buy to look for a replacement. There was a range of radios and models, but what I wanted was simple and readable for the time display.
We saw this Sony. The price was right and the size was perfect for a bedside table. Big bright numbers and a decent sounding radio. Got it home and the time was almost perfect out of the box since it has a battery backup. A quick adjustment and it was good to go.
If you want simplicity, at an affordable price, then this is for you!

Does this system have loud volume control?
It has a volume control. I wouldn't say it is something that will help if you need "really loud" volume due to hearing loss.

Can I pay to have a Sprint Evo's cracked screen replaced? The rest of the phone still works (including touch functions).
You could probably have the screen replaced, but it will probably cost as much as a new phone. If it is time for an upgrade, go for a new smartphone with more capabilities than an older phone.
I have the Evo 4G, but it is time for me to get a new phone also.
