Takes a little while to setup. Especially with parental controls, but once setup we all ended playing for a while... Then battery died on main controller. Which gave us time to put the system away and let it charge.

Works great for what I use it for. (Back up for multiple users). I have the silver model and it's plastic exterior looks cheap. But it's a back up drive I've hidden it. And it's so quite you don't even know it's there.

The seagate slim 500gb drive goes everywhere with my retina MacBook. It's portable, quick, and when it is connected, it barely takes up room on Dj stand.
Two things I wish seagate would incorporate is...
1. Thunderbolt connection (built in)
2. Higher capacity... but same price and size

Slim vs Goflex Slim
Hi there, can anyone please let me know if this model is the same as goflex slim. If not, what's the difference? Thanks so much.
I believe the "go flex" has a removable connection hub... The "slim" is all one housing with a built in USB 3.0. This giving the option of the "go flex" to interchange from USB, thunderbolt, or FireWire. But these extra connections are adapters available for purchase.
