Mainstream Hard Rock (a little edgier than some at times), including Bumblefoot and Scott Weiland, etc.. Haven't had this long, so I'm hesitant to say much. A project Weiland was trying to distance himself from and it's a shame, because what I've heard so far on a couple plays thru, I would have been interested in hearing a sophomore effort. They put out a couple of videos and there were talks/hopes of future shows but Weiland was working with his band, The Wildabouts and then Weiland passed (R.I.P.). We will never know where or if this band was going to go anywhere. I can say this, my favorite tunes are not the singles. Solid release, not groundbreaking.
R.I.P. Lemmy. Rock, punk, metal, all rolled in to one. Absolutely gutted when I heard the news. Bad Magic brought Motorhead to the forty year point and man did they go out with a bang. Micky Dee is a beast, one of the greatest drummers alive. Phil owns the solos on this album, just absolutely shreds. Lemmy, the voice has aged but perfectly fit the songs and Motorhead once again prove why they were and always will be one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever. Yes, EVER!!!!!!
Nice little bag. Honestly would not have purchased separately. I do give best buy props for the extra little something with purchase. Actually going to use bag as gift bag.
Disturbed haven't changed much and if your a fan, I think you'll be happy. I'm still getting used to the production on Immortalized, not my favorite and I wish they would have given Dan more solos, but I love this album and there are some nice surprises. My favorite album is still "Believe". Welcome Back Disturbed!! Buy the Digipack with the bonus tracks, they rock and are worthy. Buy at Best Buy
Clutch have turned around and given us the best Clutch album of all time, Psychic Warfare. My previous favorite, Earth Rocker = been ate up and spit out by Psychic Warfare. 2015 has been a great year for music. Production is phenomenal, lyrics are outstanding and these musicians are some of the finest. Crank it loud!!!! Buy it at Best Buy
The band W.A.S.P. have been around for more years than I would like to admit. Blackie Lawless, the leader and only original member today, has truly created what I consider his greatest work, Golgotha. The man that once gave us the wonderful 80's Self-titled album, then The Last Command and later progressed and impressed critics and fans alike, with The Headless Children and his epic masterpiece, The Crimson Idol...that was until now and the arrival of the epic, career defining, Golgotha. Blackie is a born again Christian, hard to believe I know, coming from a man that once gave us the fan favorite, "Animal F@#K Like a Beast" but it's true. Certain songs from the past, he won't even play live anymore due to the content. So with that said, if you buy this don't fear the born again thing, if your Christian or not, embrace this, because you truly are in for something special. The production is phenomenal, actually, unheard of in this day and age. How is Blackie's band you ask, each member brings something so special to this record, it is breathtaking. This contains Blackie's greatest ballad, "Miss You", absolutely untouchable and this man has done some great ballads. Don't worry, you will headbanging, oh yes! Scream, Shotgun etc...Is the Christian thing going to put people off, maybe, it will be your loss. I love fire and brimstone albums/bands as much as the next metalhead, but this album is so well done, so thought provoking and once again phenomenal, I only hope it gets the credit it deserves. This will be in my top 3 metal albums of 2015, just haven't quite decided which position yet. I hope he tours the states. Do yourself a favor and buy this masterpiece from Best Buy..... p.s. it is a limited edition digipack, also if you play guitar your will love this!!!!!!
