I am using these speakers in a 2 channel audio system for music playback. They sound amazing and I love the small footprint. When I got home with the speakers, I noticed a small tear in the cloth. I bought my Xbox console solely for Forza 5. While it was a blast to play, I found it a little kludge to navigate the leagues and levels and ultimately lost interest. With Forza 6, it captures the fun of racing games, keeps you hooked with incentives and the graphics are amazing. It is very straight forward and the leveling system keeps you involved.

Nice Mac for the Price!

I have been using a Mac since the late 90s. This is my first desktop Mac to own in about 8 years. I have been exclusively using the MacBook Pro and Powerbooks, but was tired of managing the storage and docking to print on my Epson 2200 (old school but great photo printer). I bought the middle Mac Mini to use as a front in for the printer and storage drives, but after using it a while, I realized I missed having a dedicated desktop.

So, the negatives on this model are well documented - no upgrade for RAM and a very challenging process to upgrade the storage. It is a little clunky in comparison to my MacBook Pro, but that is to be expected. What I am enjoying is having a computer in my home office that is always on and ready. I am using it for media playback, photo printing, video editing and general Internet use. All works fantastic. Gaming is a different story. I can run Blizzard games fine, but in the low settings. Still enjoyable, but...

So, if you are looking for an inexpensive Mac, this mid range model is the way to go. I do wish Apple had left some upgrade paths in mind and maybe a few extra USB ports.

Does anyone know how to open this unit?

I want to upgrade the hard drive. There are two screws on the back under the top feet but they only partially loosens the screen.

There are videos online and well documented. It is a cumbersome process and not for the faint of heart. Also, you can only upgrade the hard drive. RAM is soldered on the board.
