The problem with ordinary cheap tweezers is that it is frustrating at times trying to grab hair or splinters because the tips don't close flush. With this Tweezerman tweezer, when you grab onto hair, its got a death grip on it and makes the job done on the first time. The quality of the metal feels great in the hand and does not fatigue. Comes in a nice plastic tube to keep the tweezer sanitary on transport. Overall, sometimes you need to just spend money on quality instead of cheap convenience store tweezer.

This thing looks gnarly sitting on your desk. It is small but does an excellent job cleaning the area around you. It looks like a big Bluetooth speaker that has a nice glow ring that has a couple of brightness levels and can be turned off at night. You can feel the air being put back into the room so it is creating enough suction to clean the room. My favorite part of this air purifier is that you cannot hear it at all. Usually small appliances that moves air tends to be loud because you are sucking air into a small device. Not this purifier. You barely realize it is even on. I routinely put my hand on top of it to see if it is working or not, and it is, just very quietly. The only concern I have is the ability to find filters down the road say 1 to 2 years from now. But for now its doing its job fantastically.

If you were looking for a way to add a keyboard for your 2020 basic iPad and looking for something that feels solid, this is it. I have used much cheaper keyboards and this one feels premium in hand. In fact, the outer protection of the keyboard and iPad cover are made by OtterBox. The nice thing is that the keyboard is held to the iPad by a slip in clip and magnets so that you can use the iPad by itself in portrait mode. Pairing it to the iPad was super easy and the keyboard is firmware updatable. With the iPad closed onto the keyboard, I have no questions if the iPad is protected or not. It’s one sturdy unit together. The keyboard is charged using USB-C and according to the manual will last 6 months. Time will tell about the battery but overall experience using the keyboard with the iPad is wonderful.

This Ninja Pro Plus Blender Duo is amazing and powerful. The three tiered blade system ensures even and quick blending or chopping. Making salsa is ridiculously quick. Making smoothies is super quick and easy. No chunks. Ice does not stand a chance against this powerful motor. In addition, the included single serving cups are great if you only want to make enough smoothie for yourself. While using this product, you can tell that Ninja did not skimp on the quality of the motor and it appears that this blender will last for a long time to come. The base uses suction cups to stick to the counter reducing vibration and noise. If you don't want to blow $500 on the industry standard mixer, this will be a best bang for your buck and and should last you a long time. Its one of the few products that Shark has gotten right.

This all metal electric kettle is exactly perfect if you need to make hot water quickly. Using a stovetop kettle always took a long time and was just inefficient. This electrical kettle by GE has digital controls so that you can select 9 different preset temperatures between 140 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit. The water heats up quickly and is absolutely silent until approximately 125 degrees, then you can hear water boil. The digital controls gives you precise temperature control over mechanical dials. The kettle is connected to a baseplate that supplies electricity to the kettle, therefore you are not dragging a cord with you as you lift off the kettle.
The few things I do not like about the kettle is the lid release mechanism and placement of the buttons. The lit is held on by spring mechanism clips that you have to pull out with a bit of force. For longevity reasons, I wonder what happens if the springs get stuck and wont release preventing you from taking the lid off. In addition, there is a button on top that you press in and out to provide a grip to take off the lid. When you press on the button, it does not extend out fully making you have to manually pull up tab all the way to get a grip on the lid. In addition, the buttons are placed in a spot where you will always be touching the buttons with our palm when you grab the kettle.
Overall, for the purposes of heating up water quickly and ease of use, getting this digital version is a no brainer. The stainless steel used is of great quality and the heating element appears to be solid. Hopefully, the lid will not be a problem in the long run.

Amazing open earbuds with distinct Bose sound

One of the things I hate the most about in-ear buds is the pressure booming sound you get when you are walking or running. Wearing over the ears or on ear headphones is very difficult for physical activity and heat/sweat issues. This Bose Sports Open earbuds solve that problem. Since it does not cover the ear canal, it allows you to hear your surroundings, partners, and spatial awareness but still gives you great sound. It is quite a unique experience to have something directing sound into your ears and still have the sound signature that Bose gives off. Because this does not cover the ear canal, you will not get the overpowering bass that in-ear headphones give you but that is a welcome deletion. You get enough bass that does not muddle out the mids and highs. Between listening to rock, R&B, and Podcasts, this headphones sound quality makes me want to wear it all day because I can listen to what I want and still pay attention to my surroundings and respond to people around me.
There is no adjustments to these earbuds and at first was discerning because I would of liked to make it fit on my ear differently. It takes a few minutes to get use to how it sits on the top third of your ear. It also took a few jumps and runs around the house to convince myself that it will not fall off the ears when you are working out. But somehow it stays in place and does not move. But there is some magic going on here because the way it sits on your ear, you doubt the sound entering your ear will be of any quality. Nevertheless, the distinct sound you get from Bose speakers, you will get using these open earbuds, but with a little less bass. Honestly, once you get over how it sits on your ears, you will forget you are even wearing it. And the most amazing part is that being open earbuds, people around you do not get disturbed by your sound. I can be in bed listening to my music and my partner does not hear a thing. The directional sound it produces is very efficient and amazing.
There are some places where Bose missed the mark on these open earbuds. Unlike most other earbuds available on the market, the heavy duty carrying case that comes with it does not charge the earbuds when not in use. Even cheaper ear buds include this in their products. Therefore if your battery runs out, you have to wait to get access to Bose's proprietary charger. Yes my testing shows typical 6-7 hours of continuous use. However, once you run out of battery, you either have to wait to go home and toss them on the desktop charger, or carry the charger with you adding to your arsenal of stuff you have to bring with you. Maybe Bose will release a travel charger later down the road but it feels like it should of been included.
The other issue is out of the box there is no way to change the volume. The Bose Music app shows an option to customize the left ear button but currently the only option is to listen to the battery level. A source from Bose confirms that the ability to change the volume is coming in a firmware update but seems like this should of been in the firmware from the beginning.
Besides these two issues, its remarkable how a non-adjustable set of on top third on-ear sports buds can sound so good and still allows you to be aware of your surroundings. I will be wearing these earbuds at all times possible because I can now listen to what I want and still perform my duties as an adult to people and things around me.

The Roomba i3 is considered their budget model but it sure does a very good job cleaning. The i3 first few cleanings is a systematic row by row cleaning method that maps out the area you are cleaning and every subsequent cleaning gets faster and faster. I am very impressed at how much dust and dog hair this thing picks up. It has never had a problem finding its way home. From a loudness scale, you will notice that it is running but in honesty more noise will come from your pets if they don't like a round black object invading their personal space. The collection container holds quite a bit of trash and the collection container contains 2 filters to prevent dust from recycling back into the air. The more expensive model comes with a trash bin that cleans out the container of the Roomba but I don't think it justifies the cost over this basic i3 model. Nothing a 10 second pop out and shake in the trashcan daily can't accomplish and one less thing to worry about breaking. The biggest feature that is lacking in the i3 is the ability to set keep out zones. Since I have sloppy dogs that can't seem to keep water in the bowl, it always concerns me that the Roomba i3 might suck in water on the floor. That feature is reserved for the more expensive i7 model and cost significantly more. Therefore the i3 will require a bit more planning on your part before cleaning. This usually means timing the cleaning before the dogs typically drink water. Otherwise, this i3 model gives you everything you need to just press a button on your phone to start the cleaning or use your Alexa or Google Home to start the cleaning. It took me a bit to figure out the right key words to use with Alexa to start the cleaning. Google Home works similarly too once you figure out the proper key words to use. The initial setup with WiFi was weird because it did not like any of my home's 5Ghz networks. It tries and copies the settings from your phone. Once I switched over to the 2Ghz network, everything worked fine. This is probably for the best because 2Ghz spectrum has a longer range than the 5Ghz spectrum.

This is a very nice monitor. The various color profiles built into the monitor is very useful for which mood you would like. Gaming performance is flawless and refresh rate is very nice. The only thing this monitor does not have are speakers. The connection options for this monitor is great and 4K content just pops when viewing on this monitor. Games such as Call of Duty just looks fantastic and the large real estate of the screen size is perfect for gaming and seeing detail. Nice thin bezels help make this monitor look fantastic next to your computing setup. I would not hesitate using this monitor for gaming or working because everything about this monitor is beautiful. I will be enjoying playing games more now with this monitor.

The Asus Zenbook 14 is a snappy laptop that works amazingly well. Asus made a winning choice going with the AMD Ryzen 4000 Series 5 processor to save cost but not performance. Surprisingly this AMD laptop comes with a NVIDIA graphics card that is also impressive for a laptop. Is this a gaming laptop? Not really but a dabble of Steam games or Epic Games should not have too much of an issue. Using the laptop to perform work on things such as AutoCAD or any other 3D modeling program will be a breeze. The screen is really nice and clear and the close to bezel-less screen makes a 14 inch screen not much bigger than a tablet. The touch and feel of this laptop is of top notch quality and inspires confidence that this laptop will last a long time. I do wish that the keyboard keys would of been black instead of silver because in a bright room, the illuminated keys are really hard to see. Turning off back light of the keys make it easier to see, but still is difficult at times. However, in dark environments with the back light on, it is very easy to type. The laptop comes with a microSD reader which at times I wish was a full sized SD reader since most digital cameras are still using full size SD cards. HDMI output is a breeze and simple. I would be curious to see if any benefits can be gained using the on-chip Radeon graphics paired with the NVIDIA graphics can boost performance or not. The laptop also comes with an IR camera that automatically unlocks the computer by looking for your facial features, which is really nice. Overall, the only minor complaint I have with the laptop is the keyboard visibility in bright environments. Also ASUS is very responsive to any problems you might have with their products. I highly recommend this laptop.

This is a nicely sized 75” 4K ULED TV. The picture quality compared to more widely known brands is completely on par in terms of clarity. A pleasant surprise was how useful the adaptive video and sound were in changing to what you are watching. The sound and video settings change based on the type of programing you are watching such as sports versus movies. One of the biggest surprise I have seen in these thin TVs is the sound quality. The amount of bass this TV produces is very surprising and at times makes me wonder if the sound system was on or not. Using Android TV build into this TV is a dream compared to using Roku or FireTV. With access to the Google Play Store, the TV can become a giant Android phone. The ability to use IP Camera apps allows me to quickly switch apps and view my security cameras. The picture quality while using a XBOX One X is amazing and smooth. Even the underpowered Nintendo Switch looks and feels amazing. The Google Assistant is integrated seamlessly and allows the user to use their voice to navigate and find content for the TV. I do hope that replacement remotes will be available in the future because it seems like the remote is very important in the usage of the TV. I would highly encourage anyone who buys this TV to pick up a Google Home device to allow you to expand your Google Assistant usage without being tied to the remote. With Google Chromecast built in, casting videos from Youtube on your phone to the TV is simple and natural. Having an internet connection for this TV to work is essential and with the amount of streaming this TV is capable off, running a wired connection is best, however I have not seen any problems with the Wifi built into the TV. I was not too wild on having this TV be on the included stands because at this large size, the TV has a slight wiggle when some wind is blown on it. I solved this by immediately mounting this TV onto the wall. Mounting this TV on the wall is definitely a 2-3 person job because the VESA mounts are on the bottom half of the TV so it is top heavy when placing on a wall mount. At this price point, this TV is the perfect value for functionality how much TV you get. For the average home viewer, it would be hard to find another TV that is a better value.
