The Oster Self cleaning juicer is actually a centrifugal juicer. Centrifugal juicers use a spinning strainer to separate the juice from the pulp through tiny holes in the strainer. There is also a flat blade at the bottom of the strainer to help shred the food. The spinning strainer makes a powerful centrifuge that forces the juice through it.
Looks wise, the juicer is pretty basic in form, with the food chute and cover being a sturdy clear plastic, and the rest of the machine being a dark gray plastic, and a brushed stainless steel. The machine itself is kinda on the tall side, when compared to most of my other counter appliances. It's about 18.5" tall, the same height as my cabinets. So it fits pretty snug, fully assembled. luckily, you can lose some of the height by leaving it disassembled. Without the food pusher and lid, the height is 17 inches. If you wanted to get creative, with the height savings, you could turn the food chute upside down, and place it into the pulp reservoir ( **see photo ), this brings it down to about 13.5 inches. Although the inner parts will be exposed, so you might want to cover it with a plastic bag or something to protect it from dust. Or you could go completely without the food chute and cover, making the machine much shorter at a little over 10inches in height. The overall width and depth are acceptable at about 7.5" x 11.5", from the outermost parts of the machine. The juicer is heavy enough to stay put during use, at around 9 lbs, but still light enough to move around.Typically 800 watts is sufficient to juice most foods, but the Oster self cleaning model is equipped with a 1000 watt motor. This makes juicing very easy, and extremely quick. The juicer took only seconds to go through everything we threw at it, even whole oranges, cored apples, carrots, and celery. Even with the more powerful motor, it is still not recommended to put anything in the unit with large pits, like mangos and peaches.
Believe it or not, there really isn't much actual data floating around the internet or even through their support line, about this juicers spec's. However, based on information from similar machines, we can surmise; That the juice yield should be around 50% , obviously some fruits and veggies will have different yields than others. To increase yield percentages, you can try soaking some foods in water overnight, to soften and boost the yield.
This juicer has 2 speeds, a lower speed for soft fruits, and a high speed for thicker fruits, and vegetables. The high speed setting runs between 10000RPM to 14000RPM (some of Oster's similar models were reported to run at 14000rpm )The low speed setting sounds like it is definitely less than half of the high speed, probably closer to 70% to 80% slower.
There is a lot of misleading information about the actual nutrient retention from juicing, and the processes involved. The truth of the matter is that there really hasn't been a lot of credible studies done to prove any claims. The research would have to be pretty extensive, to include the different types of juiced items, and then even though there are only 3 types of juicing processes, there are tons of different machines for each process that could yield different results. What we do know is that there are a lot of nutrients passed on to the actual juice, and even some in the leftover pulp and typically discard materials.
The juice must be consumed in less than 24 hours before it oxidizes, actually the sooner the better because some nutrients actually lose their potency the longer the juice sits around.
Do not use continuously for 5 minutes or longer, as it may get too heated. Allow the machine to cool off a little bit, before continuing.
Every time before you begin adding items to the juicer, allow the unit to run for 10 seconds before dropping any food items in.
Large pits, like mangos, and peaches can damage the unit, so be sure to remove those before placing the item in the machine.
Not all fruits or vegetables contain juice, like avocados and bananas. These items can clog the machine and cause possible damage. They can still be added to any drink afterwards, or by combining everything with the juice in a blender. If you are unsure what fruits or veggies to not juice, you can do an internet search. In a quick general search, they also do not suggest juicing blueberries, cherries, or mangos. It's actually a really good idea to search for more information regarding what items you are going to juice. I also discovered that several websites say that putting whole apples in a juicer is a bad idea, because the seeds can contain amygdalin, which could be harmful to our digestive systems.
Keep in mind that juices contain the majority of the food's sugars, so keep that in mind, if you are diabetic. While homemade juices usually contain less sugars than store bought juices, it's still a good idea to try to balance out your juice items to get a good mix of sweetness and nutrients.
Depending on what combination of fruits or vegetables is used for your juice, you can take the left over fiber and pulp and use it in soups or added flavor on deserts. Some people even like to add some of the pulp back into the juice.
The Self cleaning feature works pretty good, but it is specifically for the filter/strainer. Which actually is one of the harder things on a juicer to clean, because of all the sharp points, and how materials clog in it. After the self cleaning is completed, it takes 5 seconds to take the chute and cover off to clean the rest. Most of the removable parts can be cleaned in a dishwasher too.
Overall this juicer has been pretty great, it's super fast at making any juice, the collection cup even has a little divider in it to seperate the froth from the actual juice, for a clean finished product. The 3" food chute is large enough to accommodate many whole foods, and makes things quicker. The self cleaning feature keeps the filter clean and free of clogs. It comes apart in seconds for cleaning the rest of the unit (and these parts are dishwasher safe). The juicer has been pretty fun to use, and experiment with. It's nice to have more control over what goes into (or stays out of) the juice my family drinks!
The Filtrete~ Advanced Under Sink Quick Change Water Filtration System 3US-PS01 is easy to install and maintain. It's an under sink water filtration system that connects to the kitchen or bath faucet.

The Filtrete under sink water filter system is a great choice for most residential needs. The filter operates at 1.5gpm and filters up to 1,500 gallons of water. Each filter typically lasts about 6 months under normal operating conditions. For high use water systems, the filter will need to be replaced sooner. There is no meter for when the filter needs to be actually changed, but there is a chemical sticker included in the box. The sticker is activated by pinching the small button on the back of it, which releases a chemical into the paper. It takes approximately six months for the sticker to fill with color, indicating that your filter needs to be changed. Filtrete also offers a text reminder service that you can sign up for. Although if you notice a drop in water pressure, or any other change in water quality, then you should change the filter as early as needed.
This filtrete filter is advertised to remove 4 types of contaminants, lead, microbial cysts, chlorine, and any solids over 0.5microns (which typically include; sand, sediment, rust, and soil ). From what I can tell so far, it is doing a good job.Our drinking water is typically over chlorinated, and has a lot of calcium or hardness to the water. After installing the new filter, and letting it run for 7 minutes, I poured a glass of water. I held it up to the light, and everything looked crystal clear. Right away I could smell that the chlorine scent had been removed. The water itself felt softer, and definitely tasted better than the straight tap water. It actually tasted just as good as most bottled waters
Just as a side note, this filter is designed to be a great choice for typical tap water environments. However if you live in an area where there is a lot of water contaminants or pollution, then you might want to think about also using a second step for additional water filtration, or try one of 3M's pricier options. Especially, if your area is known to have problems with NSF/ANSI 401 or VOC contaminants.
Installation really is as easy as they say, it takes less than 30 minutes to install. If everything under your sink is easily accessible then 10 minutes is actually pretty reasonable. This water filter is not recommended to be installed on the hot water line, as the water temperature should not exceed 100 degrees fahrenheit. The only thing you need to do to your existing water line under your sink, is to disconnect the cold water line, at the shut off valve, (obviously turn off the water first). From here all you have to do is mount the filter base close enough to the valve, so everything can still be connected with the supplied hoses. The base only needs three screws to mount it. Just remember to make sure you will have enough room for the attached filter, and hoses. The two plastic hoses that come with the filter are easy to attach. One end of each of the hoses just presses into the base, with it's quick connect couplers. The couplers remind me a lot of the old finger trap toys we had as kids. Once the hose is inserted into the coupler, it feels impossible to remove. Unless you apply pressure inward at the coupler lip, and then pull the hose out, the included instructions have a diagram better showing this process. The other ends of the blue hoses need to be attached to the remaining adapters included. Just keep track of the direction of the water, as indicated on the base. The left hose should connect to the water valve, and the right hose should connect to the water hose dangling from the faucet. Turn the water valve back on, screw in the filter and check for leaks. The cool thing is that the base is supposed to shut off the water flow, when the filter is removed, making replacing the filter extremely easy. No need to play with the valve or anything else.
The water pressure had dropped a little bit after installing the filter, but it was still pretty good, and way better than a lot of those faucet attachment filter systems.
Really for what you get with the ease of installation, filter life, quick filter changes, and great tasting water, you would not expect to be paying such a reasonable price for a water filter. For the price range, this is definitely the best choice!

This headset is PS5 compatible, so you can keep using it if you decide to upgrade to the new system later this year.I found the headset to be pretty comfortable, and really appreciate the fact that they made ear cuffs that work so well with glasses. The overall design is pretty standard, durable plastic arch with 1/4 thick padding, and 1/2 inch ear cushions. Except these ear cushions are angled to accommodate comfort for both people with glasses or without. The boom mic can be dropped to activate, and raised to mute. The mic even has a small hinge in the base, to angle it a little closer to your mouth, when extended. The ear cuffs tilt and pivot for angled comfort, and can be turned out 90 degrees to lay flat. and protect the inner ear cuffs from collecting dust. All the controls are located on the left ear cuff. There are two dials, and 2 buttons. The top dial is for the master volume. The bottom dial is to adjust the feedback from your own voice in chat. Which is a nice feature, to keep people from yelling too loudly during chats. The power button is recessed to avoid accidental presses, and easily distinguished from the raised "mode" button. All the controls are easy to find and use, while wearing the headset.
The 5 Preset EQ modes are accessed by tapping the "Mode" button, they include: Signature Sound, Bass Boost, Bass + Treble Boost, and Vocal Boost.Although the most impressive audio feature is the "Superhuman Hearing" , which amplifies typically hard to hear audio, like footsteps, gun reloads and other stealthy type sounds you would normally miss. To activate or deactivate the Superhuman Hearing, just tap the power button, an audio cue will indicate the confirmed action.
There is no 3.5mm audio jack, and the included USB C cable is for charging only, it does not transmit audio. With a 15 hour run time, at least you won't have to charge it very often. If you find yourself with a depleted battery, and have a long enough USB C cable you can charge the headset and still be connected wirelessly to your system for normal use.
There isn't a dedicated Chat Vs Game audio mixer on this model. Although the PS4 System's chat party options do have this feature, and can be accessed by pressing the PS button. Look for the chat party "audio mixer", here you can slide the mixer to amplify "party" audio or "non-party audio".
Another important thing to mention is that the USB adapter needs to be plugged in directly to the PS4. I had mine plugged into a USB 3.0 hub, that was connected to one of the two USB ports on my system. My other port was tied up with a USB hard drive for additional game storage. I noticed that the headset's audio was cutting out and my voice chat was barely heard by other players, while connected to the hub. Using a powered hub, or connecting it directly to the system seemed to alleviate this problem, so just be aware that some USB hubs may impede the headset's performance.
The surround sound is actually very accurate when it comes to direction, and the audio is very clean and clear. Which is no surprise, coming from Turtle Beach, as they have been one of the premier gaming audio providers for over 15 years, and in the audio business since 1975. The sound is so good, and easy to locate other players, that most people are dumbfounded when I turn to shoot them as they are trying to creep up on me, and there are no UAVs in the air. The 50mm speakers and Turtle Beaches included audio features really deliver with the new GEN 2 line!

Malwarebytes' new katana engine, offers increased speed and scanning depths, while using less of your system's resources. The new interface is very simple, direct and easy to use for users of all skills. Most of the time you will not even know that malwarebytes is running in the background until you need it.While advanced users can go into the settings and change most aspects of the software, to fit their needs.
Regular use of this software and scans can keep your device running faster, cleaner and extend battery life by removing PUPs, and ransomware that can hog your resources and charge you to remove their issues and malicious content.
The software Works best when it can scan your system on a daily basis. Not only does it look for signatures of known viruses and malware, but it also uses the daily scans to create a snapshot or profile of your system's natural processes. With this snapshot Malwarebytes can look for anomalies and determine if they are harmful. Most of the scans I performed on my PC, Android phone and chromebook took less than 2 minutes. With the hardware acceleration option set, in the settings on my PC, scans were just over a minute.
Malwarebytes is a great stand alone internet security option, but can also run alongside most other popular Antivirus and Firewall options for an added level of protection. The software scans all the locations in your system that typically harbor activity surrounding malware and viruses, like the memory, startup items, registry, and file systems.
On demand scans can also be done on any drive, folder or file, by right clicking the mouse over the item, and selecting Malwarebytes from the context menu. An entire hard drive scan can take much longer than the daily threat scan, based on your system hardware and size of the drive. It took my PC an hour to scan a 1TB hard drive.
With the Premium version of Malwarebytes you get real time protection for adware, malware, exploit attacks, ransom attacks, and malicious websites.I tried searching for some questionable websites that typically contain malicious items. The real-time protection kicked in by blocking the websites before the page even loaded in my browser. Plus, Malwarebytes identified the specific threat on each website. I had some pages blocked due to malware, PUPs, Trojans, and malvertising. One really cool feature of Malwarebytes, is the ability to show more information about anything and everything detected by the software. Just click on the item detected, and you will be taken to a webpage with more details and information about the item. The app's "allow list" can be propagated from scans, by selecting the ignore button on items that you want to keep, or by hitting the "add" button in the settings view of the "allow list".
If you are serious about learning more about cybersecurity, the app will direct you to news and current information in the field. This link can be found in the settings, or menu based on the device being used.
The smartphone app gives you an app manager that lets you uninstall apps, and view the privacy audit, which gives a detailed list of every app on your phone, and what permissions it has been granted on your device. The security audit gives you a quick look at potential vulnerabilities on your phone.
So far, I have been very impressed with the real time protection, scan results and small footprint this software takes up. I have seen new items found on my devices through threat scans, and have been pleasantly surprised at how well the real time protection works with any browser.

If you love espressos but don't like waiting in lines at a coffee shop, than this is the machine for you. (This is my first Nespresso machine. After seeing how good the coffee looks in the commercials, and my dislike for lines. I decided to give them a chance, and so far, I'm glad I did.)
Nespresso has done a great job at making an elegant yet space saving machine, that not only produces high quality espressos in under a minute, but also makes all sizes of your favorite coffee beverages.
The Vertuo Next Premium is only 5.5 inches wide, which makes this instant coffee machine able to squeeze in between your other counter appliances. At only 12.5 high, it should fit under most cabinets as well, although you might need an additional 5 to 7 inches of height to open the lid to place the capsule/pod inside the unit. The black finish is very smooth, and looks as rich as the coffee tastes. The chrome lined cup holder can be manually placed at 1 of 3 different heights to fit different sized cups for the appropriate brew. It was also a nice touch, to have the used pods automatically eject into a trash reservoir in the machine. The trash reservoir can be completely removed and rinsed as needed. If you subscribe to Nespresso for your coffee orders, all the used pods can be returned at no charge, for recycling to Nespresso. In fact Nespresso is very big on recycling, with utilizing 54% of recycled plastics in the making of each Vertuo Next machine.
The brewed espressos and coffees come out in less than a minute every time, and always at the right temperature. Most cups have just enough froth while brewing to still enjoy while drinking. Everything is automatic to the pods you select. The machine can read each pod, and knows the correct ounces of water , pressure and temperature for each one. Nespresso pods are actually a little tough to find locally, and the third party Nespresso pods that they do sell in most stores do not fit this specific Nespresso machine. So the best way to keep a healthy supply of your favorite pods, is to subscribe to Nespresso. The shipping, and recycling is all free, and they include a $10 off coupon in the box for new orders. Plus you do have access to special limited time only blends. Currently Nespresso has about 28 different blends, with beans sourced from over 100,000 different farmers throughout the world. The samples of coffee included in the box will give one a good idea as to what to look for, on future orders. All the included pods had rich flavours and nice aromas. I also like the fact that after you brew a pod, and want an instant top off to your cup, you can simply tap the brew button, to start an extra pour. Then tap the brew button again to stop it. This machine can handle 5 different brew sizes from single espressos 1.35oz to tall glasses of 14ounces. So everyone in the house can literally get what they want, for a morning or anytime brew.
Even though I enjoy the smell of my coffee brewing, I do not like lingering scents, like from a traditional coffee pot. I used to hate that half of the house would smell like a burnt coffee pot. Which is why I love these instant coffee machines. Once you are done, simply bag up the used pods, and no smell.
I would like to point out that you are supposed to flush the system before your first use, by filling the water reservoir and tapping the brew button 3 times. This cleaning process can be done at any time, and is recommended periodically, or if your system has sat for a long time between uses.
Another thing to mention, is that I always use filtered water to fill the machine to reduce lime scale, and prevent anything from altering the intended flavor of the coffee.
Overall I think this space saving design is great for a quick and delicious cup of coffee or espressos! With most people moving to delivery for groceries and other essential products, it would make sense to get your coffee delivered too, especially when there are no shipping charges !

This UPS is actually lighter and more compact than you would expect for a 900VA unit. The 5 foot power cord provides a little extra length than most power strips. The cord also has a flat plug, which is a nice bonus, as flat plugs take up less room, and holds tighter in outlets, than the traditional bulky straight plugs.Three out of the six back up outlets have block spacing, for those bulky sized plugs. There are 9 total outlets, 6 battery back up outlets (with uninterrupted power) and 3 surge only outlets for unimportant devices that you don't want to drain the battery during an outage
Before your first battery usage, the UPS should be charged for 24hours straight, after that it only takes 8 hours to fully charge the batteries.
The batteries are hot swappable, which means you can replace them without having to interrupt your power supply to the connected devices. APC provides a 3 year warranty on this UPS, and $75,000 for connected equipment damages.
APC understands that you might have different uses for this UPS so it offers adjustable voltage for different power sources like utility wall currents or generator currents. There is even a separate LED that lights up red to indicate a problem with the connected power source, like an ungrounded connection.
LED and Audible status alarms can be set for your desired notification method. The UPS is by default set to silent mode, meaning that during an outage, it will rely on the LEDs to indicate the battery status, and will only sound 2 beeps 30 seconds before the battery gives out. The UPS can also be set to audio alerts , which is helpful if the UPS is hidden under a desk or behind other objects. To set the UPS to audio alerts, while the device is plugged in and on, hold the power button down until you hear 3 beeps. At the third beep, release the button, then press it again (do not hold it down) until the power button light turns to "amber". Now the UPS will beep 4 times every 30 seconds until the battery is almost depleted (1 minute left), then it will beep once every four seconds.APC's website has a graph that shows the power runtime graph, which seems to be pretty accurate. I plugged a PS4 slim, 32" HDTV, and usb fan into the UPS, it was able to keep all these devices running for 30 minutes. See the attached image of the graph, or visit APC's web page for this UPS, and enter the wattage using to estimate your back up run time.
This UPS definitely provides enough backup power for most all types of devices to finish your game, or PC jobs , save your data , and shut down properly.

Hoover advertises 2x more suction than their previous hand held model. While I never used the previous hoover model, I have used other "dust buster" and handheld vacuums, and this one actually has real suction. This cordless hand vacuum had no problem picking up anything in its path. It vacuumed up sand, leaving no trail and larger items like cereal and popcorn with ease. It was even able to suck up small stones and pebbles, from my car floor in seconds.
For my first use, I headed out straight to the car. I had been wanting to vacuum it for the past 2 weeks. I wasn't sure how long the battery would last, as I was just using the standard 2.0 Ah battery that came with the unit, so I took my time trying to get every part of the floor. The dirt cup/reservoir looks kinda small, so I thought that might hold me back. It turns out that before the dirt cup was even halfway full, I noticed a loss in suction. A lot of the sand and tiny particles had clogged all the holes in the dirt cup filter, restricting the airflow. It was an easy enough fix to quickly empty the cup, and return to my vacuuming. I ended up emptying the cup twice, before the battery died on me. The second time, the cup filled up with more debris, as there was less sand to clover the holes. The vacuum ran for about 15 continuous minutes on a full charge. I was able to get 3 out of the 4 floor mats and carpet clean. Now that I know about how long it runs, the next time I will pace myself better to complete the task.
The cool thing about the Hoover OnePwr systems is that all the batteries and chargers will work with all of the hoover OnePwr devices. So I was thinking about buying the 3.0 Ah or 4.0 Ah batteries to increase my run time. The 3.0 Ah battery adds 50% more run time, and the 4.0 offers 2x the run time.It took just slightly over an hour to charge the 2.0 Ah battery with the default charger. It advertises charging in under 3.5hours, but it must depend on the size of the battery, the 3.5 hours must be for the largest capacity battery in their system.
The vacuum weighs less than 3lbs, and feels it. It is very easy to carry and move around. The 2 attachments that come with the vacuum work great, and the extender even has a dust brush tip that can be swiveled into position for use, or swiveled back to keep out of the way. To keep the weight low, the attachments have no storage mounts on the vacuum. I keep mine next to the charger, so I don't forget where I stored them. The extender wand works great at focusing the suction, and giving you the added reach to get between tight places. My biggest complaint about the extender wand, is that there is no flexibility in the wand, it is very rigid. I actually had a hard time trying to angle the 27" long vacuum( with the extension wand), between and around some of the seats. I would love to see an extension wand that is a flexible hose, for tighter angles.
The design of the vacuum is very modern, and looks great. The handle is at a very comfortable angle and the overall feel is great. Although I do have one small complaint about the convenient power button location. It is actually too convenient, they have placed it on the actual handle making it easy to reach with your thumb. However, I found myself constantly turning the unit off, as I would reposition my thumb for a tighter grip or different angle against the rug. I would love to see that moved up further, so it is just slightly out of reach, while holding the handle.
One of the big bonus features about the unit, is that it has a Hepa capture rating of 99.97%. This is great, as it keeps all the dust and sandy particles from being pushed back into the air around you, as you are working. Both of the filters can be brushed off, and or cleaned with water. Keep in mind, you should wait 24 hours before use, to prevent water damage inside the unit.
Lastly, I would like to mention the sound output of the device. It is a little high pitched. It sounds very similar to a larger Hoover vacuum if you had shrunken it. It reminded me of the cartoons where someone gets shrunk, and their voice gets squeakier yet softer at the same time. The sound is definitely not as loud as a full size vacuum, so if you can handle that, you can definitely handle this.
Even with a few complaints, I still think this is an outstanding hand vac! I have literally been waiting years to get something of this caliber in a mini vac!The performance definitely outweighs the negatives!

With an increased mid to high frequency response and super-low 60 ms latency, this headset is able to deliver clear vocals and enhance spatial awareness without lag. For a headset that doesn't have Dolby Surround, the audio directions are very pronounced. I will be honest when I first opened the package, I thought "this is too small to actually benefit my games", but I am glad to say that my first thought was wrong.
This tiny headset really packs a punch! The audio is rich, with clear and precise sounds, the bass is even good enough that explosions and music carry the depth you would expect from a larger headset. For the price and portability, these little babies have not let me down! They are wireless, which means that they can sync up to any open Bluetooth devices, like your phone( Android, Apple, or other ), stereo, or computers (Windows,Apple, Chromebooks, and others). The only thing they can NOT sync up to wirelessly is video game consoles. I know, some of you are thinking, well how can this be? " they are made for gaming, and advertise wireless". Well, here is the kicker, any veteran video gamer will know that the last generation of video game consoles (ie., Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch ) do use Bluetooth technology, but have locked out any type of third party devices from accessing it. Which means if you are gaming on a console and want actual wireless benefits, you have to use their brand of available devices, or you get a third party device that has its own USB transmitter/receiver that you would have to plug into an open USB port on your system. ( This is currently the only work around to using wireless 3rd party devices.)With all that said, this headset does not come with an USB adapter. Which is OK in my book, because most consoles only have 2 USB ports, and I am usually using both of them for charging controllers and utilizing external hard drives.Jlabs included a 3.5mm auxiliary cable in the box that will directly connect you to your console's controller. So you will have wireless freedom from the console itself, but a wired connection to your controller. You are still free to move about the room, or wherever you want to, as long as you still have the controller with you. The aux cable has a built it volume control, which overrides the volume buttons on the earphone. However to mute yourself, you still need to use the big button on the outside of the earphone.
When using the Bluetooth feature, the battery can last up to 22 hours. After my first hour of use, the headset still said the battery was at 100 percent. If you do manage to deplete the battery, the headset does have a rapid charge feature. Ten minutes of charge will get you an hour of play. The volume and power buttons on the headset also double to answer calls, skip and pause music, however these button features are not available when using the aux cable, only in active bluetooth mode. Probably because connecting the aux cable turns off the battery features, and just utilizes the speaker and mic. Enabling you to be able to game or listen to music through the aux cable indefinitely. The headset has 2 EQ presets "1" for gaming and "2" for music, however this option is only available in Bluetooth mode, otherwise the EQ is defaulted for gaming.
When using the wireless feature for gaming the latency is 60ms, and has no latency through the wired connection. Latency is the delay between devices. Most wireless audio devices are somewhere around 100ms in latency. Even at 100ms, most people can not notice the delay, I mean we are talking about milliseconds here anyway, not actual seconds. In latency the smaller number is better, and the Jlabs Play is almost half of what most devices offer. (pretty impressive)
The mic works well for calls, and in-game chat. While the mic can still pick up audio in it's stowed position, you really need to extend it for people to hear you well. The mute button is large enough to find in a hurry and easy to press. The button actually stays depressed in, when the mute is active, so it's easy to feel whether you have the mute on or off.
There are only 2 things I can say this headset is lacking. The 1st is a charging block/plug, the device comes with a charging cable but not a power plug, so you will have to use your spare phone charging USB port. This does not bother me too much, because I have tons of spare chargers, and they all use the same 5 watt outputs, just like the USB ports on your computer. The only difference between USB chargers is the amperage. Chargers with higher amperes will charge devices faster. Second is there is no game vs chat slider or toggle. This feature is usually only available on more expensive models, so I wasn't really expecting it to be included at this price point. A game vs chat mixer/slider/toggle makes it possible to adjust the volume of the chat at a different level than the game (which helps out, if you have a buddy that either talks too quiet or screams too much) .However most consoles, systems and games, actually include this feature into their settings. So it's still possible to do it, just not directly on the headset.
This little headset offers so much, it's silly to dwell on things it can't do, because of console manufacturers or higher expenses. For the price and portability this headset is top notch. I have used a lot of other inexpensive headsets, and none of them offer the spatial awareness and sound impact that this headset does. Plus this offers a 2 year warranty!

This cordless blender is pretty much the same size as most hand held blenders, but has the bonus of being cordless! Making it much easier to just pick it up and go. The rechargeable internal battery does add some weight to the unit, but nothing too bad. It is very easy to use, there are two buttons on the handle that need to be pressed for it to start. One is pressed in the palm of your hand, and the other by your forefinger. The battery has enough juice for approximately 25 uses, with the recommended pulses per item. I used mine all day, with various applications, and it made it through everything. When the unit is starting to get drained of power, the small led on the handle turns to yellow, then red right before it's about to shut down. There is also a noticeable power reduction in the force of the blender. Luckily, there is a quick charge, in about 20 minutes you can have enough battery juice for at least 1 use. Otherwise it takes 2 hours for a full charge. The trigger on the unit is actually pressure sensitive, so with the right control you can vary the blending speeds, giving you more flexibility when trying to blend different items.
The blender works well at chopping up or shredding different types of dry food items, but really excels with any item in a liquid. The motor is so powerful that it creates a strong whirlpool, and pulls the blade to the bottom of the glass. The blade housing is a perfect design, with open slats around the outside edge, letting chopped items push out, away from the blades, for better use. For using the blender in pots with sensitive finishes, there is a rubber guard that can be placed on the bottom of the blade housing to prevent scratches.
I made some soups, and a few different drinks. I am including some pictures. I pretty much used the blender at full power for all of my projects. I found that it will easily puree fruits and typical drink items, and finely shred hard vegetables and meats. I like soups that actually have some consistency, instead of just water for broth. I threw most of my ingredients into the soup pan, and then let the blender do the rest of the work. It worked great for turning the water into a thick broth, full of flavor. At this point you could manually add some different sliced meats or vegetables for the chunky soup experience, or keep it as is which is great for on the go cups, or mugs !
Overall I think this is a great blender, and is very handy for anyone that loves soups, whole fruit juices, shakes, or icee drinks. Not to mention that this handle works with the optional chopper and whisk attachments.

This new edition to the deskjet lineup is very impressive. It offers all the functionality of a larger all in one office model, but in a smaller much lighter unit. The design is focused on size, weight and functionality, trying to squeeze as many options into a standard size printer. The automatic document feeder can hold up to 35 sheets at various sizes up to 8.5" wide. The paper tray can hold up to 60 standard pieces of paper and different sized media from 3"x5" to 8.5"x14", including envelopes, photo papers, and cards. The copy features can be accessed directly from the control panel at the front, right of the printer. There is a color copy button and a grayscale copy button. Both buttons work in the same way, just press either button once to scan and copy your image or document. For additional copies, keep pressing the button up to 9 times. Directly from the printer, you can do additional copies up to 9 at a time, but from the pc or mobile app, you can enter any number needed. The default copy resolution is 300dpi (which should be very sufficient for most purposes).
The control panel LCD shows the ink status, number of copies, wireless connected icon, and mobile/remote printing icon. You can cancel or resume any print job from the 2 left-most buttons on the panel.
All other features and options are available through the apps. Here you can fax any image or document anywhere, scan items to pc or mobile, use smart tasks, or start creativity projects. Smart tasks can help you create one-touch shortcuts for printing, emailing, and saving documents with custom options.
HP is giving customers 2 years of their faxing services for free with the purchase of this printer. Sending faxes from your pc or phone is very easy, and can be done over the internet as opposed to a LAN line.
HP is also offering 2 free months of their ink replacement program with this printer , and has programs starting as low as $2.99 per month. When you register your printer for the program you also enable the remote printing option. After which you can send any image or document to your printer's direct email address( provided by HP ), from anywhere outside your house. When you return home, you can retrieve your printed items.
The printer handles scanning and printing of documents very well, offering color prints up to 4800x1200dpi. I scanned a magazine cover and a stock photo frame insert, then printed them from the printer without adjusting the scan or print settings. I was extremely impressed with how good each print came out. In both photos the item to the left is the original, and the print is on the right. The only negative thing I can say about the photo printing is that there is no borderless print option, otherwise the color and quality seem to be just as good as a dedicated photo-printer.
Overall this printer is fun to use, with great features and impressive results. The HP 4155 prints and scans at a fast rate with exceptional quality. One of my favorite features, which is available through the mobile app, is the ability to resize any image and position it anywhere on the print layout. I have paid for other apps, that attempt to do this, but don't work over half the time. With the HP Smart mobile app, it has been very easy and very reliable!
