Great TV for the price

I recently finished my basement and I bought this TV to use down there. The price was just too hard to pass up and even though it's not a smart TV, I have a blu-ray player connected to it that is, so that wasn't an issue for me. The picture is sharp and clear with 1080p resolution and it comes with a nice array of I/O ports so that I have had no trouble connecting any device I want to it.

I was skeptical but hopeful when this first came out in theaters. I have to say, I was not disappointed. Fantastic effects and a decent story, combined with a killer soundtrack made this movie a huge success, at least for me. Visually breathtaking.

One of the best to date

The first several Mission Impossible movies left me feeling very upset that someone had taken a really great concept that was based off of a cool TV show, and completely botched the entire thing. But in the past several stories, a lot of those issues have been resolved and now I actually look forward to the next installments. This one is one of the best in this series.

Depending on how you plan to use it, it could be good. As a pedometer, it's good. I've found it to be pretty accurate and I've actually counted my steps just to compare. The watch feature is nice, and I like the way you can change the way the clock looks by including the date or rotating the display. But hey, there's tons of activity trackers that can do this. Where it fails for me is the notifications and the alarm. Most of the problem is that you just can't feel the anemic little vibration it has. My last activity tracker had a great alarm/vibration notification and I had no trouble feeling it or even waking up to it. The Alta's is just too wimpy. It's not able to wake me, so now I have to find an alternative alarm to wake me (and not my wife). The texts and call notifications you just have to be too quick in order to see. They are very brief, and they don't last. If the notifications aren't a real concern for you, then this is a really good tracker. I like that it's water proof in case I get stuck in the rain, or I'm washing my hands. The display is beautiful, very clear. Even small text is legible and sharp. The app is really good and it's social aspects are easy and fun. I'm just disappointed that the notification and alarm vibration are so wimpy.

Well, I wasn't disappointed. Actually, it would be very difficult for me to give a Star Wars movie a bad review, despite questionable CGI characters in the past and somewhat less than engaging dialog. But thankfully, this movie didn't suffer from either one of those for me. Disney paid a pretty penny for the rights and I don't think they would squander that money on a poorly concocted plot. Can't wait for the next ones...
