I've been looking at smart watches for years, but I could never get past the cheap plastic look that they all had. Finally, somebody gets it. The Gear Frontier looks more like a nice piece of jewelry than a smart watch. The Frontier does so much it's hard to know where to begin a review of it.
Let's start with the looks and feel. This does not look or feel like a toy. The watch has some weight to it, and is comparable in size to one of my good analog watches I usually wear. It has a nice dark gray finish with an intuitive rotating bezel. It also has two side buttons that are just barely raised above the case and take you either Home or Back.
It interfaces flawlessly with my S5 phone. The notifications alert me of an incoming call and show the caller photo if it's in my Contacts list. Email notifications claim to only work with the stock Samsung email app, but I use Blue Mail and it works just fine. Texts however do require the standard messaging app and doesn't work with the messaging app I like to use.
S Health functions work really well and the watch is able to detect quite a few workouts automatically without any intervention from me. It counts floors as well, and is pretty accurate. I also found the heart rate monitor to be fairly accurate and the watch will take my heart rate about once an hour without me asking it to do so. Some people have complained about a lack of apps available for the watch, but I think the selection is good, and continually growing.
The screen looks incredible, and is very responsive. I've never had it lag at all, and whether you use the touch screen or the bezel, the response is really quick. Swiping works really well and I've never had to swipe twice to get the screen to change.
The watch faces that come with it are nice, and there's a good selection of them. But if you find you want more variety, there are literally hundreds (maybe thousands) available in the Samsung app store, and the majority of them are free. There is actually a whole developer community that produces some really high quality faces and if you want to get involved and try your hand at creating new faces, Samsung offers Gear Watch Designer as a free download. With this program you can easily develop your own watch face designs and load them onto your watch or offer them up to the community for others to enjoy as well.
Battery life is quite respectable and even though I charge mine every night, at the end of the day I still have about 60 to 70% battery life left over. This watch has everything I could want in a smart watch and the look and feel are top notch. Nicely done Samsung!

Good prequel with a very strong cast

I've really liked the way they've gone back and done prequels on the X-Men story. The "new" cast is really good. James McAvoy has always been one of the new promising actors and he competently fills the shoes of Patrick Stewart as Professor X. With Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Rose Byrne, and now the added Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, The cast just gets more fun to watch.

One of the funniest movies ever. A true classic in both comedy and horror. A great cast combined with a dark, 30's era horror background make this movie not only funny, but interesting to look at as well. When you combine the talents of Gene Wilder, Madeline Kahn, Marty Feldman, Teri Garr and Peter Boyle with guest appearances by Gene Hackman and Cloris Leachman, it's almost impossible to go wrong. Add in Mel Brooks and everything just falls into place. To see it in the crystal clarity of Blu-Ray is a real treat. If you've never experienced this movie, do yourself a favor, and take the time to watch it. You'll be glad you did.

I had reservations about this movie but wanted to see it out of curiosity. Setting himself in the role of self proclaimed protector. Batman works to pick up the pieces and help the survivors of Supermans battles. It's a dark and very brooding Batman we see. One that doesn't see Superman as a hero to the human race. Aquaman is shown very briefly and Wonder Woman makes her debut appearance. I did end up liking the movie but it was not at all what I expected. Well done though, and as always, the promise of future movies that continue the story is strong.
