Decent baby monitor. Baffled by resolution.

I've tried a few video baby monitors so far and this is just barely the best one that I've tried so far.
Setup was super easy... if you aren't aiming to hang this higher up on a wall. Setting it up on a night stand or somewhere next to the crib is easy to do but any higher and you need an extension cord because the power cable they give you is SHORT. Like really short. The last camera monitor I had gave me probably 20 feet of power cable. I'm pretty sure this one is a whopping 6 footer. If I was to hang the camera in the same place as my other one, I would need to attach an extension cord hanging half way up the wall. I decided to just put it on the night stand next to the crib for now.
The monitor works pretty well. I would have liked to see dedicated buttons for volume control on the screen but it's only an extra 2 button presses to open the menu and then open volume control. A little annoying because it's a function we use often but it's not a deal break.
Quality is good enough. There's pretty much no delay in the picture/sound. I'm still baffled by the fact that a camera that's this expensive only has a 720p image. For how much this thing costs I would really expect a 1080p picture and screen. Cameras are cheap now a days and skimping on that only feels like it's padding the margins on their device than anything.
Sound quality also sounds a little weird. Not bad but tinny and easily distorted. It could just be that the camera is closer to the crib than the other monitor, though, so I can't discount this one for that. It's not terrible.
Bottom line, I was expecting more out of this product for the cost. I don't think it's a bad monitor at all, I just don't think it's worth the price. If you find it on a good sale or if the price comes down, it's a no brainer. As is, I still recommend it but just barely.

Good upgrade to our previous Foodi grill
on November 27, 2021
Posted by: swemoney

We've been a pretty big fan of Ninja Foodi products for a while and this one doesn't disappoint either. We upgraded our smaller Foodi grill with this one and I'm really happy with how it performs.
Setup is simple. Just plug it in and it's ready to go. There are quick start guides as well as cooking guides included like usual. My initial impression was a little bit of confusion because the grill plate is the only one with the contacts for fully attaching to the machine. But a quick glance at the quick start guide tells you how each mode works with the included attachments.
One complaint I do have is the volume of the beeps this thing makes. They are LOUD and piecing. I used this grill for the first time to air fry something after I had put my 18 month old to sleep (her bedroom is right next to the kitchen) and I was seriously afraid it was going to wake her up. From what I've read, there is no way to turn off or down the volume of this beep without cracking the whole thing open and removing the beeper all together and I'd rather not do that.
Cleanup is also pretty easy and a lot better than the old grill. The grill plate is just a standard straight line grill as opposed to the circular grill plate with a ton of holes in it on the old grill. The 3 attachments that come with it are easy to clean and you can even put them all inside the Foodi when you're not using it so you don't need to store anything elsewhere.
Other than the loud beep that you might be totally fine with, the grill performs well in all the modes. The size of the grill is bigger than our last one which struggled even cooking 2 burgers at the same time. I'm really happy with this one and can't wait to cook more on it.
All said, I recommend this and other Foodi products if you're looking for some multipurpose tools for your kitchen. Being able to grill, griddle and air fry with the same machine is fantastic. If this is in your budget, I say get yourself one.

This LIFX Smart Switch is installed in-wall and features 2 buttons, 1 physical relay, haptic touch, and backlit design. With convenience at its core, you can use this Smart Switch to control both your smart lights and average lightbulbs at the source. Great little smart switch if you have LIFX bulbs
on November 17, 2021
Posted by: swemoney
from Hanover Park, IL
I have a variety of different smart switches in my home that I've accumulated over the years. They all work pretty much the same way with just their stability being the differentiating factor. As long as I can get them to show up in HomeKit, I'm happy enough with it. This switch CAN act just like those other switches but can also do a bit more if you'd like.
Setup is pretty simple if you know how to install a light switch and are comfortable working with electricity. After it's installed just follow the instructions in the app and you should get up and running pretty quick. I've heard of people having some issues with the setup process but I didn't notice anything.
After everything is set up you can use the app to program each button for what you want it to do. The switch has a single physical relay inside that controls the switch you replaced. This will act just like a normal switch and turn on the overhead lights or outlet that's wired directly to that switch. But you can program the other button to control another LIFX bulb somewhere else (probably in that room). So if you have a lamp on the other side of the room with a LIFX bulb in it that normally doesn't have a physical switch to control it, now you can use the main relay switch to turn on the main lights and then the second button to turn on that lamp as well.
Obviously that's just one simple example but mixing this switch with other LIFX products make it really neat and gives it a lot of potential.
If you don't also have other LIFX bulbs, I wouldn't recommend this but I think it's definitely worth it if you're either invested in the LIFX ecosystem already or if you plan on picking up some LIFX bulbs as well.

Pretty easy to use cold storage
on November 10, 2021
Posted by: swemoney
from Hanover Park, IL
This is my first cold storage option for crypto and while I'm not blown away by it or anything, I don't think I'm supposed to be. It does a job and it does it pretty well.
Setup is a process but it's pretty easy to follow their steps to get it done. You pick a passcode for unlocking the device and then it instructs you to write down each of the 24 code words that you'll need to use if you ever need to recover your wallet. You'll want to make sure you keep this safe and they give you multiple cards you can write your codes on. You'll probably want to store this in a safe or safety deposit box or somewhere.
The Nano S appears to only work with a desktop application. There is an iOS application but it doesn't actually connect to the device at all. It just syncs with the desktop app. When you try and do things like receive money from the iOS application there's a big "This address is not verified!" warning since it can't talk to the actual device. But since this is a cold storage, I don't find that to be too much of a big deal. I can connect it to my PC and verify the info on the device and on my PC before sending or receiving. When using the PC app and the device, it's pretty easy to use.
A couple things that could be a little better about the device starts with memory space. It's tiny. The BitCoin "app" for the device takes up a huge chunk of the available memory. Most of the coins that you can install apps for are much smaller but it just feels really small for this day and age. I'm pretty sure some of my toddler's toys have a larger memory than this thing. I haven't had any actual issues with the memory size yet but I'm a casual crypto user and only really need BTC and BCH. People with a lot of different coins might start seeing issues.
The screen is pretty small. Verifying some coin addresses take up 4 pages on the screen you need to scroll through. It's also not touch screen at all so you have to operate everything via the 2 buttons. It's not hard to operate with those 2 buttons but it is kind of slow and awkward. If you're planning on interacting with it many times per hours or something, you might get pretty annoyed. if you're only going to interact with it to dump some coins to it every once and a while before locking it up somewhere, it won't be a big deal.
Overall, this is a cool little gadget that doesn't feel too expensive. It has some shortcomings but if you're looking for security and some cold storage for your cryptocoins then you might want to pick this up. If you're a heavy coin carrier and plan to move things to and from cold storage often you might want to look for something with a larger memory or a better input system.

Good massager. Just ok software.
on November 3, 2021
Posted by: swemoney
from Hanover Park, IL
So too long didn't read on this one is that the massager works well from a hardware standpoint but boy are there some hilariously dumb software issues. Luckily it doesn't get in the way of what it was meant to do too much.
So setup... Most of my reviews will just say "Setup is pretty easy" because I don't usually have much of an issue with the setup procedure for most products. This object ran into some issues right off the get-go with the firmware update and connecting to wifi. Part of the appeal of this massager is that there are programmed modes and firmware updates and wifi are kind of important for possibly getting new modes and abilities in the future. Problem is, if your wifi password is greater than 16 characters long, you'll need to jump through some hoops to get this set up at all. This isn't some hardware limitation that was baked into the device or anything. This is limited on the client side on the website you browse to in order to set up your wifi password. That made it very easy for me to get around the limitation since I could just use my laptop computer to connect to the massager's wifi and then edit the HTML text field via my browser's "inspect" option and change the maximum from 16 to anything else that would allow my wifi password through. If you're also running into this issue, I recommend doing this if you have access to a laptop. I've seen a lot of really silly oversights before but this one has to take the cake. I have no idea why whichever engineer put together this setup page put a client-side limit on the number of characters for a wifi password at all, let alone capping it at 16. Insane.
I even did email their support about the issue who got back to me a handful of hours later telling me they'd look into the issue but they recommended that I change my wifi password (which would require me to input it again in the dozens of devices I have set up so that was definitely not going to happen). Hopefully they fix the issue in the future since I spelled out exactly what I did to get around it in my reply to them. I also did test out the wifi setup again after updating the firmware to confirm that the issue still existed. So I'm leaving it in this review mainly to hopefully help someone who might run into this issue themselves.
Function and feel are pretty good though. The wand feels well made. It's heavy but not too heavy. The extension piece that attaches to the bottom and helps for getting your back is amazing and genius. The modes feel a little gimmicky and I don't know if I can confirm that the "Energy" or "Rest" or "Calm" or "Pain Relief" options actually did what they're titled to do but they each change up the vibration a little bit so you have some variety there. The extra tips are nice for getting different parts of the body. It feels like a lot of thought went into the actual design and feel of the physical massager which is why the software issue feels like such a silly mistake.
Just two other smaller issues that I noticed and that irked me a little bit related to charging the device. First, plugging the massager in directly or resting it in it's charging cradle offers no visual indicator that charging is happening. There's no small light. This thing has a full touch screen and that doesn't even light up. It's small but it just feels weird to get no feedback when starting to charge it. And then the second thing is that the massager gets warm while charging. This is pretty normal but it doesn't seem to go away. You can leave it charging for a day or two and when you pick it up, you'll notice the warmth. Like it never stops charging. I would expect some sort of detection mechanism that would stop the device from charging after it's gotten so full and especially when it comes with a nice resting dock that you can leave it in when you're not using it. I'm not sure if it's doing anything to the longevity of the battery and I hope not but I also just don't expect it to still be hot 3 days after putting it in it's charging dock.
A few nitpicks and mostly stuff that CAN be fixed with software updates is really my only complaints about this one. Hopefully they can manage to fix the wifi input issue and help those who run into it before they do. I've been using this thing every day or two now and I'm liking everything else about it. If you're looking for a good massager and are ok jumping through a couple hoops early on to get it working right then this might be the one for you.

Night Owl is excited to offer our U.S. designed and engineered 4K Wi-Fi Bluetooth Network Video Recorder with Wi-Fi IP 4K Spotlight Cameras and Pre-Installed Hard Drive. With secure app-based Bluetooth setup, there is no need to connect a TV or monitor for setup or viewing (optional). Each camera has 2-Way audio (talk and listen) as well as a built-in siren and preset voice alerts. From within the app, you can easily activate the built-in siren, startling intruders and sending them packing. Have a guest but can’t get to them? Use a preset voice alert to let them know! Feels a little behind on the technology
on November 3, 2021
Posted by: swemoney
from Hanover Park, IL
I'll preface this whole review stating that this system was used to replace mostly a bunch of Arlo wifi cameras in my home. It's not watching over a business or anything. It's just capturing moments in my home and giving us some extra security in case something bad happens.
Setup is pretty easy. You have two options and I tried both of them. You can go with the headless option that they recommend where you just connect the PVR box to your network via ethernet and then plug it in and you can use their Night Owl Connect app to do a full guided setup. There were a couple of quirks with the setup process on the app but for the most part it worked pretty well. Quirks in their apps are going to be a common theme in this review. After setting up all of the cameras, you can move on to mounting them where you'd like.I was a tad disappointed that these cameras didn't have a standard camera mount thread so I could use some of our existing mounting points but that's not too terrible. You have 3 screws. The camera can move around pretty easily but just make sure you can achieve the angle you want to get before finalizing the mount. The other method of setting things up is to connect the box to a TV and go through the setup steps on the TV with their included mouse.
This is kind of where the good parts end for me. Setup is pretty easy but the actual cameras leave a bit to be desired. There's no native HomeKit support so if you want to be able to view these on your iPhone or Apple TV or iPad without using their app, you're left to creating a Homebridge server. It took me an eternity to find the RTSP path so I could add these to Homebridge. But that's probably an edge case. The cameras are only 8 frames per second. They're 4K but the picture isn't quite as nice as I'd expect a 4K camera to deliver. Almost like the camera sensor is capturing closer to a 1440p image and then upscaling it. Then the camera themselves don't have any indicator lights on them but the breakaway cable that connects them to the power adapters has the brightest green light you'll ever see on it indicating the camera is online. Electrical tape is strongly recommended here.
Now let's talk about the app. I'll start with the good. You can bypass the app all together and just view things on a monitor or TV if you connect the box to one. The app is also available pretty much anywhere. There's a mac and windows application in addition to the iOS and Android apps. So you have plenty of options on how to connect to your cameras. That's about all I can say that's good about the app though. The weird design decisions and overall slow and clunky interface is just terrible in this day and age. From launching the app to viewing one of your cameras it can take 30 seconds or more for everything to load and finally show you a live image. The app loads up to a list of your PVR devices and that's it. So if you don't have a large collection of these, there's literally 1 button on the screen that you need to press. You press that button and it opens up some information about that PVR box and a loading sign in the middle makes it impossible to do anything while it checks for connected cameras for a good 20+ seconds. THEN you can finally tap on a camera (with no preview) to see what's live. There's also a live view button on the PVR info screen that takes you to a preview of your first channel (stretched into a square shape for some reason) and then you have the option to display more than one camera at this point. It's just so many hoops to jump through to do what I would assume is the most important aspect of a security camera system which is to just view the cameras. I won't even mention the fact that the app doesn't appear to have been updated for more modern iPhones because some of the buttons are crammed at the very bottom of the screen where the swipe bar is (below the safe area).
So the app is pretty terrible. I can overlook this because I can set things up through a Homebridge server so I can view my live cameras in my iPhone's Home app but that involves transcoding into a lesser quality video and everything so it's not ideal. One thing that's harder to forgive is a lack of the continuous recording option. I understand when other cameras who want to sell you their cloud storage solutions only record movement but when I'm recording onto my own device (and on a security device) I should at least have the option to recording always. Somehow this is absent and I'm forced to trust that the motion sensors picked up enough movement to activate a recording. I've also had a couple issues with all of the recordings not showing up in the app until I reboot the PVR but that could just be a weird thing that happens every once and a while.
All-in-all, the ease of setup at least gives this system some redeemable qualities for the average buyer who doesn't have a lot of expectations. The cameras work and the quality is ok. The PVR works for the most part. Once you have your PVR and cameras set up it's pretty much a set it and forget it kind of thing. I really wish the apps were a lot better designed and got you into viewing your cameras quickly and I really wish there was a continuous recording option. As is, I don't think I would recommend this system. I'll probably be on the lookout for a system with cameras that are at least 30fps and possibly connects with HomeKit natively instead of needing Homebridge. And a lack of continuous recording is kind of a dealbreaker since that was the main feature my existing cameras lacked and I was hoping to replace.

Good hand feel. Weird buttons?
on October 25, 2021
Posted by: swemoney
from Hanover Park, IL
I can't fully decide if I like or don't like this controller or not. It feels good in my hand. It has a bunch of extra buttons with 3 paddles or bumper buttons on each side. Different thumbstick caps. It has a lot going for it and it definitely should for the price of this thing. I like it. I think the buttons are just too different for me right now.
Setup is easy. As you'd expect. If you want to customize the extra buttons, you need to use the Razer app on your PC which is fine for me but if you don't own a PC, you might be out of luck on that front. Overall, the controller "just works" but is also very customizable with the extra paddles/bumpers and the extra thumb sticks.
Some decisions that were made are pretty weird to me in general. The extra thumbsticks don't allow you to replace both of your thumbsticks with the same one. The controller comes with 2, normal, low profile indented with a cross on top thumbsticks. Then it comes with a single tall thumbstick with the same sculpt of the original and then another rounded top short thumbstick. Just one of each. So you can't have the same thumbstick on both sides with the replacements. So weird to me.
The first thing I noticed (and you will too) is the button presses. Pretty much across the board. Pressing any button sounds a bit like clicking a mouse. It doesn't FEEL bad, it just feels and sounds weird and different. I don't think I dislike it but it throws me off when I use this controller vs other controllers. I'm sure it's something I can and will get used to pretty easily but it's worth mentioning. The advertised "mecha-tactile action buttons and d-pad" is definitely something that will be weird if you haven't felt or heard it before.
Other than those things, this controller feels good in my hands. It works well. It's highly customizable (with a slight caveat). It lights up because everyone needs more RGB these days (/sarcasm). I like the controller. I'm not sure it's worth the pricetag but time will tell if it lasts longer than the official microsoft pro contrtoller.

Works well. Easy to hide.
on October 25, 2021

I haven't tried a ton of antenna for my TV and this one performs at least as well as the other one I used.
Setup is easy. There's a power cord that connects directly to the unit which I'm a little less happy about than putting the power inside the cable (so you only have a single cable instead of needing to run both) but it's not a huge deal. Testing and scanning for channels in various positions and locations drastically changed the result. Just depending on where it was placed, I scanned 25 channels on the low end up to 65 on the top end. So play around with positions until you have the results you desire. I ended up putting it in the groove of my window which it fit pretty nicely and keeps it hidden. That was the position it also gave me the largest scanned result.
I thought it was weird that both my older antenna and this one failed to scan for CBS (channel 2) in my area. Turns out, after a quick Google search, CBS is the only VHF channel in the Chicago land area where as everything else is a UHF channel. Smaller, indoor antenna apparently just don't work well to pick up VHF channels so I can't fault this antenna when I would need to install a much larger, outdoor antenna is I really wanted to get CBS. Just something to keep in mind if you're finding a single channel that isn't coming in on multiple channels while the rest of them seem to work fine. Chances are, that channel is just broadcasting VHF and you won't have much luck with any of these smaller, indoor antenna.
Picture quality is as you'd expect. Everything is digital now. It's either on or off. I didn't notice a lot of stuttering unless I was moving the antenna around. So it works pretty well.
If you're looking for an easy to hide antenna, this one might be for you. I'll be continuing to use this one on my main TV and moving my old antenna onto a TV that I don't use as often.

Nice little mobile keyboard
on October 3, 2021
Posted by: swemoney
from Hanover Park, IL
This keyboard came at just about the perfect time. I already have the original MX Keys keyboard and like it fine but don't use it a ton lately. I was going to start using it again as a keyboard for my AppleTV while I stream games to it via SteamLink. It works great but since it's going to be stashed near the TV in the living room I'm really happy this is basically the same keyboard in a smaller package (minus the numpad).
Setup is simple. It connects via bluetooth and you have three different connection options making it also great for using the same keyboard for multiple computers. So I can use this keyboard on all 3 of my AppleTVs and switch between them with a keypress.
The keys feel pretty good. They're scissor style keys. I didn't have any problems adjusting to typing on it while my main computer has a very sensitive mechanical keyboard with MX Cherry Silver Speed keys. I don't know if I'll want to type on it for huge things but for some gaming so I can play some games that really need a keyboard and mouse on the couch, it feels pretty good.
The construction of the whole keyboard also feels really good. It's not super light for the size. It's got some weight to it which I like. It's not a lot but it's more than I thought when I first looked at the keyboard.
Overall, it's a keyboard. It connects to 3 separate devices and it works well. If you need a small keyboard you can take with you to various devices then this one might be the one for you.

Designed in Sweden for expert removal of airborne allergens. Unlike a standard fan, Pure Fan Auto cleans the air of pollutants as it cools. Customizable to fit your needs, the fan features a colorful fabric pre-filter and Auto mode setting to auto-adjust to your real-time room conditions. Pure Fan Auto delivers more clean air than Dyson purifying fans¹ and removes over 99%² of airborne allergens like dust and pollen with Blueair's signature HEPASilent™ filtration technology. The unique combination of electrostatic and mechanical filtration effectively removes airborne allergens like dust, pollen, and pet dander with low noise and energy consumption. The fan works by pulling in dirty room air from the back through a pre-filter and particle filter using patented fan technology to deliver a gentle stream of clean, cooling air back into your room. Provides cool comfort by distributing air into the room at a 90-degree angle, so there's no need for oscillation. Upgraded features from the original Pure Fan offer simple air quality management. Set to Auto mode, the fan will automatically increase speed when particle pollution levels rise in your indoor environment and return to a lower rate once the air is clean. The air quality indicator (AQI) located on the top left of the fan keeps you up to date on the current status of your air. The LED displays one of three colors to indicate that room conditions are good, moderate, or polluted based on real-time measurements of fine particle (PM2.5) concentrations. Customize to your space with unique machine-washable fabric pre-filters available in five colors. Designed to catch larger particles to extend the primary filter's life, pre-filters in Arctic Trail and Night Waves come standard with the Pure Fan Auto. ENERGY STAR® certified for energy efficiency, Pure Fan Auto uses less energy than a light bulb.³ The fan utilizes HEPASilent™ filtration technology to clean the air as it cools with noise levels quieter than a whisper on low (25 dB) and less noise than a normal conversation on high (54 dB).⁴ Minimalist features are a breath of fresh air. Use the fan's two buttons to turn on/off, cycle through three-speed settings, set Auto and Night mode. Plus, the filter indicator light alerts you when it's time to replace the filter. Filter replacement is recommended about every six months. The Pure Fan Auto fits in well on a tabletop or directly on the floor in any area of your home. The balanced design is light enough to move easily, yet the low center of gravity makes it difficult to knock over. As an added benefit, unlike standard fans that use blades that get covered with dust and require disassembly to clean, Pure Fan Auto captures airborne dust before it has a chance to stick to the fan blades, using pre-filters that can be cleaned with a quick vacuum. At Blueair, our Swedish heritage inspires sustainability and quality at the heart of everything we do. Like our air purifiers, Pure Fan Auto is AHAM Verifide for Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR), certified by ENERGY STAR for energy efficiency, and certified by the California EPA Air Resources Board (CARB) for safe ozone emissions. ¹ Comparing dust and pollen CADR (AHAM AC-1) on high to Dyson purifying fans (TP01, TP02, TP04, HP01, HP04, DP04) ² Based on third-party testing of removal rate of particles, pollen particles (5-11µm) in less than 20 minutes and dust particles (0.5-3µm) in 30 minutes according to AHAM AC-1-2019 standard. ³ On lowest speed, according to GB/T18801-2015 standard. "Light bulb" is defined as an LED light bulb with 40 W energy consumption. ⁴ Sound pressure according to GB/T18801. A whisper is about 30 dB; normal conversation is about 60 dB.

Pretty neat and "cute" fan that works well

The first thing my wife said when I took this fan out of the box was "That's cuuuute". So there's that. I have air purifiers in a couple rooms in my house but this one looked cool to me because it's also a lot more of a traditional fan than other ones I've seen. I think it works pretty well too.
Setup is pretty easy. It's basically just a fan. The filters were already installed. The only thing I didn't fully understand right away was the "pre-filter" which is just a flexible cloth that stretches around the filter that catches a lot of the big stuff right away. I accidentally opened the package that had a spare pre-filter inside it because I didn't know what it was. Other than that, just take it out of the box, plug it in, turn it on.
The fan has 3 speed settings and then an "auto" setting and a night mode setting. Night mode, I'm pretty sure, is just the first setting but it turns the LEDs off. Not sure why they need a whole separate mode for that instead of just an LED button that turns off the LEDs no matter what mode you're on.
The first speed mode, as well as night mode, and auto mode when the air is clear are all pretty much as quiet as possible. You can still feel a little bit of air coming out of the fan too. But it basically sounds like the fan is not on.
Mode 2 ramps up the fan pretty heavy and is very audible. Not annoyingly. I actually have been using mode 2 as my sleep mode lately. It doesn't sound like normal compact fan. It sounds more like a white noise generator. Mode 3 is a little louder. Not crazy but it's a bit too loud for my bedroom.
I have used the auto-mode a few times but I think my air stays pretty clear when I just leave the fan on mode 2 so I haven't gone back since I started using mode 2 as my sleep mode. But when using auto, you will notice the speed fluctuating depending on the air quality which is a nice way to know things are working.
Overall, I'm a "fan" of this fan. If you're looking for a decent air purifier that isn't a big box for the corner of the room, this might be up your alley too. The fact that it doesn't look terrible and doubles as an extra fan is great. If it's in your budget, I can recommend it.

Enjoy a smooth gaming experience with this 27-inch ASUS Full HD monitor. The Shadow Boost feature increases clarity in dark scenes, and the ultrafast response times minimize blurring and streaking for seamless gameplay. This ASUS Full HD monitor has an ergonomic design that allows tilting, swiveling and pivoting as needed.

Is the monitor free sync or g-sync?

It's G-Sync. The actual model number (not sure why it's not in the product title) is VG279QR if you want to check all the specs on Asus.

You can connect to your phone's bluetooth to play music through the board. The speaker does not have a lot of bass to it so it just sound alright.

Does this board have settings for beginners etc like other boards from this company?

It has Beginner, Intermediate and Expert settings which I assume are the same ones available from other Hover-1 boards while using the same app.

eufy Security Wired 2K Video Doorbell. 2K Resolution, 5-Day Continuous Video Recording (CVR) on Secure Local Storage, No Monthly Fees, Human Detection, 2-way Audio, and Free Wireless Chime included.

Can you use an existing traditional doorbell chime with this, or do you have to use the eufy door chime?

I haven't tried to use my existing chime. The instructions do say that the doorbell will probably function but might work sporadically unless you bridge your current chime to give extra power to the doorbell. This disables your current chime so, I would say, officially, you should use the eufy chime if you want your doorbell cam to work reliably..

Expand connectivity on your Apple MacBook Pro or Air with this gray HyperDrive DUO seven-in-two USB Type-C hub. Two USB Type-C ports support Power Delivery for charging mobile devices rapidly, while the HDMI output lets you connect a UHD display. This HyperDrive DUO seven-in-two USB Type-C hub has USB Type-A ports and microSD and SD card slots for fast data transfer.

will this work if my MacBook Pro has a Kuzy case on it. The case wraps around the side of the computer right where the hyperdrive will go. Im wondering if the case will prevent the hyper drive from fitting flush or snug to the computer.

It's possible this could fit fine. The included magnetic support grip leaves a bit of a gap if you don't use it so you might be able to use this without that magnetic support and have it fit just fine. Don't quote me on this, though, I just know there's definitely a gap if you don't include the black magnetic support.

Is this Hyperdrive compatible with a (mid) 2015 macbook pro?

I'm pretty sure the 2016 MacBook Pro was the first one to move to all USB-C. To use this device, you need a MacBook that has 2 USB-C ports on the left side. If your device doesn't have USB-C this won't work. If your device has a MagSafe charger, this wouldn't be supported. USB-C only.

Safeguard your home with this Arlo security camera system. Its 4K resolution provides maximum clarity so you don't miss a single detail, and a siren is integrated so you can fend off intruders either remotely or while at home. This Arlo security camera system is weather-resistant, so it's functional rain or shine.

Can you pair Arlo pro 2 cameras with this system as well? We have 2 arlo pro 2 cameras we would like to utilize on the new system if possible.

Yes. The Ultra camera doesn't pair with the old hub but the old cameras will pair with the new one. The upgrade process was quite simple.

Always know what’s happening at your door with the SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro. Its crystal-clear 1080p HD video and 162° field of view give you a clear shot of your property 24/7. Two-way audio lets you hear and speak to unwanted guests (and welcomed ones too) - even when you're not home. Have the SimpliSafe App? The Video Doorbell Pro will send instant alerts whenever someone approaches. And with Smart Person Detection, it can tell the difference between people, vehicles and animals. That means you only get the alerts that matter. Plus, when backed by 24/7 professional monitoring, you’ll have experts who are ready to request emergency dispatch when you need it most. This camera is designed for all weather extremes—so you're still protected in rain and snow. (Compatible with the SimpliSafe Gen 3 security system. Requires Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) and existing wired doorbell setup with mechanical chime and a transformer with 8-24 VAC, 30VA max. Not compatible with digital chimes.)

Does this doorbell allow storage to the local network instead of a cloud server?

This doorbell does not currently allow local network storage. The app functionality is quite bare bones and you actually get zero recording capability unless you upgrade to their $5/mo plan for the camera.

Tune out the world and lose yourself in music with these Sony 1000X wireless noise-cancelling headphones. Equipped with SENSE ENGINE technology, these earbuds make it easy to adjust sound modes with a single touch, so you control what you hear. Compact and intuitive, these Sony 1000X wireless noise-cancelling headphones stay comfortable for hours.

How many charges does the case hold?

Two. The buds, alone, will work for ~3 hours. If you include the case, you get 9 hours. So the case will give the buds 2 full charges.

With no wires in the way, Bose SoundSport Wireless Sports Earbuds keep you moving with powerful audio. Perfect for exercise and running with a sweat and weather resistant design and StayHear+ tips designed for comfort and stability. The Tile app makes your headphones easy to find if they ever go missing.

Are there any other means to charge these earphones than the advertised charging case?

The case that comes with these headphones is just for storage. I do leave my headphones inside the case while I'm charging them, but it's just a standard micro USB cable that plugs in to one of the earbuds to charge.
