So went into Best Buy on Sunday and was looking for the Belkin Apple Watch Valet ($129) that I saw at the Apple Store. They didn't have that item, but I lucked upon this laying on the bottom shelf by itself. It was on sale for $49.99 and looked to be really handy at getting rid of charger clutter for me. AND it was. With minimal effort (maybe 10 minutes all together...OCD reasons) I had this stand set up and running.
While it's not as shiny and the Belkin Model...it's a 1/3 the price. And while it does use the Apple charging cords it has a really easy way to hide them in the base unit....and then there is only 1 power cord to feed into the wall.
Has worked great for 4 days now...AND the wife is happy with reduced clutter. So win. Win.

With the release of the new MacBook, the Airs have had many great deals. I purchased this for my wife as a surprise to replace the 2008 HP that we bought at Best Buy. She's wanted one for years and has not been disappointed at all with the speed and performance of this Apple product. Definitely worth the upgrade to a 256 GB storage, as these MacBook airs cannot be expanded at all. The 4GB of Ram is more than enough when coupled with the standard processor as my wife does not game on this computer.

I have been debating on this watch since the announcement LAST fall and finally broken down and purchased it yesterday! Firstly, I have ALWAYS worn a watch--have a Citizen watch fetish of sorts--since middle school back in the 80's. So wearing a watch presents no problem for me (unlike some of the reviewers whining about how 'my arm sweats and its uncomfortable'). Wow...just wow!?! This watch weights next to nothing compared to a stainless-steel watch and the sport band is not remotely sweat-inducing. In fact it is really soft and pliable and yet firmly clasps.
Secondly, I am truly glad that I purchased this as it is easily configured and provides an accessible way for me to receive important notifications without getting my phone from my pocket or off my desk--especially important for my line of work.
Lastly, I had no problems installing the ZAGG screen protector (I will add pictures later). It was as easy as installation on the iPhone and gives me the added easy of mind. I also bought the clear bumper guard as I have to move a lot of thins about on a daily basis and I would like to keep my watch in great shape.
TIP--this was provided to me by the Asst. Manager at Best Buy last night--and it is an awesome tip to save battery and avoid unwanted Siri time. Turn the orientation of the phone around. When setting up the configuration, select bezel on left side (then swap your bands to the opposite side). This turns the bezel to the inside of your arm so that your wrist motions to do inadvertently cause Siri to come on repeatedly. And it does not look awkward at all if you set it that way from the beginning.

With the purchase of an Apple MacBook Air, we decided that an extended warranty was in order just for peace of mind. This is perfectly comparable to the Apple Care Plus but Best Buy is just down the street whereas Apple if an hour-plus drive west. This makes sense.

Great Surprise for my Wife!

After talking with my wife over multiple occasions, I knew that she really wanted a MacBook. But I also know her and realized that if I purchased her this great deal on the MacBook Air 13, she would like it more (the new MacBooks are too small..retina display or not). With a little comparative shopping between BestBuy and Apple Refurbished--it was a clear winner that BestBuy had the BEST deal for the same Macbook Air. This one was IDENTICAL to the Apple website model listed for $929.
Purchased this and the case and a decorative sticker for my wife, and made her month!! It has been perfect. Battery lasts much longer than the 12 hours specified and the Geek Squad Ext Warranty for 2 years and $189 is perfectly comparable to the Apple Care Plus. BUT we have a BestBuy down the street whereas Apple is 89 miles away. Could not be more pleased that she is pleased!!

No, you will need to have the an HVAC tech come and install a thermostat both upstairs and downstairs. Most of the AC units have multistage and can do this with no problem. I speak from experience as I had to have this done in my last home. You will also need them to verify that the unit you have is actually up to spec on compliance for the space for the house.

How long is the battery life?
While watching netflix or streaming any type of video.
Easily over 10 hours. My wife has told me that she only charges her computer 2 times a week and that's with watching videos and performing research for her advanced nursing classes as well as iTunes movies and Netflix.
