Got this for my daughter that is entering 6th grade. Not only is she reading more, but reading more complex books and expanding her vocabulary tremendously with the word "look up" feature. Screen is free of glare and looks much like a paper book as the name implies. Great for learning and recreational reading.

If you like the Cap like I do, you'll like this cover. It's smooth to the touch and fits over the phone snug. I would give it a five on the review, but I prefer to have cushioned corners on my cases. Nonetheless, it's too cool not to use!

What is this shield made of? And is it for a 5 year old?

The shield is made of thick, hard, resin plastic. It's fairly hefty, so I wouldn't consider it for a 5 year old. Also, it is painted on the surface, so chances are that wouldn't hold up to the abuse a 5 year old would put it through. I hung mine on the wall for decoration, but it would be awesome for an adult at a costume event.
