Great low-cost way to speed up your PC

Overall, I've been pleased with SanDisk products (i use their SSDs and SD cards--the professional versions, Extreme Plus/Pro for SD cards and the Ultra II's for the SSDs). They are reliable, but probably not as fast as the more expensive options (like samsung). But you do get good value for what you pay for and for the most part, for general computing, and light gaming, they are fine.

Overall a good low cost solution. The only thing is that this mount canot turn side-to-side, only tilt up and down. Installation instructions are a bit confusing for some, as they just give you a pattern to work with, no actual manual explaining it step-by-step so if you're one of the "do by seeing" (ie. you need visuals to guide you) this may be harder to install.

Relatively in-expensive and lets you use an HDMI cable on your laptop or other device that only outputs to DisplayPort. The only issue with these cables (in general, not this specific brand) is that the wiring fatigues over time if you use it a lot (like on a daily basis you are connecting/disconnecting it) and it looses signal, but for the price, if you had to replace it every year, it wouldn't be a big deal.

Good TV for the money

Good TV for the money (ie. cheap). We are using it as a display for presentations (ie. static text) so it's fine for that. My only complaint is that it for some reason does not fill the screen completely at 1920x1080. Could be the video card, but it's either the edges of the Windows desktop run off the edge of the screen or I have to run a lower resolution where there are black bars on the sides due to a reduced resolution (I'm using an HDMI cable and a card that supports 1080).

For the most part, does what it should, however please note that gold plated cables (below 25 ft) doesn't matter (gold plated or not). Gold plating does help with transmission over longer distances, but I don't think you'll see a difference at or under 25 ft as the insulation around the wiring is the important part. Since that's the case, buy a decent (but not super expensive) cable, and save some money.

A decent upgrade from the XT10

This camera is a very welcomed upgrade from the XT10, and now offers a true 24MP APS-C camera, making it ideal for much more subject matter (landscapes, portraits, nature, etc). I would recommend this to someone who is maybe starting out in photography. The build quality and image quality produced by this body exceeds the Sony a600/6300 in my opinion and is probably on par with the a6500. Nice and compact, and light, it makes a great travel camera as well. Fuji glass (lenses) are a bit more expensive than the competition, but their glass is also better quality in my opinion, optically and build quality.

The X-T2 is perhaps one of the top cameras from Fuji. It's about the same weight as a small DSLR, but provides great image quality. It is a bit more pricey than the Sony options but it's well worth the price. The glass (lenses) are also more pricey, but they offer better image quality in general than the competition. The dials on the top may be a bit confusing at first, especially for newbie photographers, so this is best suited for hobbyists and pros who know the basics of photography (ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc) and/or those who are familiar with old film SLR cameras. It does have an auto mode as well for those who want to "grow" into their camera.

Does what it should, inexpensive for what you get

Overall, this drive does what it should. It's fairly inexpensive considering it gives you 256GB of storage. However, I have a few of these and noticed that they rarely actually ever write at full USB 3.0 speeds (which I would say 100MB/s is good, but these in my experience only write around 50MB/s, still fast enough, but if you have a lot of data to move around, it can take some time. REad speeds are still good, though, 100MB/s or more. I'm quite sure this limitation is not my computer, as I've experienced this on a few machines with various drives of this model, so I'm thinking that perhaps they advertised only the read speed and the write speed is not quite what it seems (which is how companies generally advertise storage media anyway--they boast about the read speed, but the write speed is generally 50% less). Regardless, I'd still recommend this as I've never had a problem with a SanDisk drive going bad (yet).

If you don't need the largest or fastest Ipad, this is a good alternative. Despite being 3 years old, it's still quite useful for those who just want to read books, browse the web or do email. Probably not the best if you want to play some of the newer games, but it is good for basic tasks. I would recommend the largest capacity tablet you can afford though, as 32GB will only give you about 28 GB of actual free space (as IOS takes up about 4GB).

All I can say is that the Otterbox Defender cases (whether it's for tablets or phones) are well worth the price. Yes, they are more expensive than others on the market, but it's far cheaper than fixing or replacing your phone or tablet. Get it, put it on your device, and forget about it and don't worry about destroying your device. I've dropped my iPhone dozens of times, even onto concrete without a broken screen. Definitely recommended!

Apple® Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter - Proprietary, HD-15 Female
I purchased an adaptor and it worked excellent with my old MacBook. I purchased a new MacBook Air this year and the connect from this to the projector is very fuzzy. Is there something I am missing. I thought maybe a new port would help with the Macbook
YOu may want to try adjusting the resolution on the new MacBook. IN particular, the screen resolution it uses on the external monitor, as some computers (macs included) can have a different resolution for external displays, and a separate resolution for the internal built-in display, so it sounds like you're running a very low resolution on the external monitor. Increase the resolution in your Display settings on the MacBook and that should solve your problem. If not, then you may have a defective DVI cable or the port on your MacBook might be defective or the contacts are dirty.
(Sorry I see you have a projector. The same stuff applies, but you'll need to find out what your projector's native resolution is).

What does the Microsoft Surface Dock do?
It basically allows you to set the tablet into it, and it allows you to connect more devices to the tablet (as the dock acts as a port-expansion system, so you can have it plugged into your TV, an external hard drive, keyboard, mouse, etc). Plus the dock should charge the tablet as well, while it's being used in the dock as well. Not sure if the dock is worth the price they ask for it. There are cheaper USB 3.0 alternatives out there that do the same thing for a fraction of the cost. But that's basically what the dock does--lets you plug more devices into it (you plug the devices into the docking station, and then slide the tablet into the docking station and the devices are then connected to the tablet while it is docked).

What kind of ssd does this have and is it upgradeable?
It has a built-in (soldered on) M.2 SATA drive, which is NOT upgradable. You will destroy the tablet trying to get it apart as much of it is actually glued together, and there are a ton of small screws. Not worth trying to upgrade even if you could because the chances of damaging the LCD is very good.

Does it run google play? I have games on kindle and le pan that i still want.
Probably won't run Google PLay as that is only available on Android (as far as I know). You would need to download the games from the MIcrosoft Store if they are available, or purchase the PC version of the games if they are available, but i don't think Google Play is available on Windows (last I checked).

It says 256GB storage. Is that similar to a hard drive so i can add on an additional microsd card or is that in fact using the microsd card slot.
The 256GB advertised is the SSD (internal hard drive). It is like using a microSD card (which you can use as well in the tablet--there is a small slot under the fold-out stand in the back). You won't get the full 256GB of space on the internal SSD as some of it used by the operating system, so you may see about 220GB upon unboxing and starting it up for the first time. Still plenty of room for most people. But you can add a 256GB microSD card to the slot in the back to add storage. It won't be as fast, but should be fast enough for storing files, watching movies, etc.

Can the surface pro 4 run itunes successfully?
Yes it can, providing that when you install it, no error occur. But yes, iTunes should work on the Surface Pro 4 (or any version of the Surface Pro---1, 2, 3 or 4, as well as the Surface 3 [non pro version]).

Are there any encryption programs on the surface pro 4 256 gb Intel i5?
In case the unit is stolen, what kind of protection is there in the form of encryption?
I think BitLocker comes as part of Windows 10 Pro, which comes on the Pro versions of the Surface Tablets. This will allow you to encrypt the drive. You can also try other free programs, such as TrueCrypt, which is an open source cryptograophy system encrypting hard drives and files.
