We are really enjoying our new Xbox One! Although we didn't have any issues with our Xbox 360, we were anxious to upgrade to this newer system and check out the improvements. We're still using the Xbox 360 too, but the Xbox One does provide sharper images and better graphics overall. If you're on the fence, take the leap and go for it! You won't be disappointed!

Seven has been around for many years, so I'll spare you the movie review and focus on the disc itself. In my opinion, this Blu-ray upgrade is well worth the price. Lines are crisp and clear, color is well saturated and everything just looks richer than on DVD. Of course, this is a dark and bleak film; the cinematography reflects that so don't expect colors to "pop" the way some films do. I have too many movies to upgrade my entire collection to Blu-ray, but some are worthy of the re-dip and this is surely one of them. So go pop some popcorn, grab a soda, and settle in for movie night!
The third season of this horror anthology series is set primarily at a secret school for witches in New Orleans. After an absence in Season 2, Taissa Farmiga returns to the show as Zoe Benson, a young woman who unexpectedly discovers that she possesses a dangerous supernatural ability. She's sent to the special Louisiana school--which is run by Headmistress Cordelia Foxx (Sarah Paulson)--where she embarks on spell-filled adventures with fellow witches Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts), Nan (Jamie Brewer) and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe). Jessica Lange is also back as Fiona Goode, a powerful witch chasing eternal life, while Evan Peters plays frat boy Kyle Spencer in his return. Other familiar faces include Denis O'Hare and Lily Rabe, while newcomers Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett bring fresh excitement to the talented cast.

Admittedly, this one didn't draw me in as quickly as seasons 1 and 2 did. But it's still a great show and I'm happy to have it in my collection! The performances are well worth watching and the stories are completely twisted. There's really nothing else like it...add it to your Blu-ray library and enjoy!
Season 9 of the supernatural series begins with the fallout from heaven's angels descending to earth. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) suddenly find themselves living in a world that is now inhabited by thousands of powerful, angelic beings, some of whom want them dead. The brothers then embark on a journey to reopen the gates of heaven. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) struggles to survive without his powers and embarks on living as a human; Crowley (Mark Sheppard), the King of Hell, is kidnapped by Dean in order to find demons on earth; and Abaddon (Alaina Huffman), the Knight of Hell, reappears with plans to take over hell once and for all.

I bought this because after watching Heat, we fell in love with Melissa McCarthy and again, she did not disappoint. Be warned, much of the humor in this movie is quite crass and some is downright toilet humor...literally. But if that's what you're in the mood for, then this one should tickle your funny bone!
