My after market unit was failing. For example, the radio tuner died. I don't listen to the radio, but others do request radio from time to time, so I was casually looking for a replacement. Finally, deal of the day had this unit at a good price. Because I was happy with other JVC devices, I figured I would give this a shot.
This unit has many options. My old unit had native iStuff hook up, USB, Simm card, sat-ready, etc. 10 years ago. The JVC has this and more.
I like all the flexibility with the JVC, though one has to dig to get to often-used features. With my old unit, sub control was on click away. With the JVC, it is a few clicks and scrolling. My old unit offered three sub xover options (80, 100, 120Hz) whereas the JVC has many more. This was a selling point for me as some tunes are mixed different than others and I want to be able to adjust the sub to complement.
The JVC also has build in 2-way and 3-way xover. While impressive, my only external amp is for the sub. Be warned that even if you use the JVC's internal amp, you still need to set your high and low filters appropriately; otherwise, not all frequencies will go to the appropriate places.
From reading the manual, I guess some of the other JVC units allow one to change the colors but also set a color for time of day. This unit only allows one color and I wish I had the option of red (especially at night for less distraction while driving). I would have paid the extra few dollars had I know - so FYI
I have spent quite a bit of time dialing in a sound I like. I am getting closer, but I will need to read the manual for the finishing touches. It is obvious I have been out of the loop on the latest options/technology with the latest after market stereos.
As my first unit with Bluetooth, I really like it for one main reason. I love my music loud (windows down, tunes rockin'!). I no longer miss a call since the JVC will automagically pause the current song in order to take a call (which I can take, or ignore), then return to where the song after the call ends. This is probably old for others with Bluetooth, but a new feature for me.
My primary source of music is on USB. Sometimes, the unit is slow to read the USB and start playing music. This behavior is sporadic and it could be the USB stick I use (on the cheap end). Unless I missed it, nothing at JVC's website for firmware update yet. Despite this, I continue to be happy with the unit.

While the KCup does not have the same great flavor of good-ole-fashioned brewed coffee, it sure is convenient. That is, I've found there's a challenge in finding a KCup that doesn't have the KCup-plastic after taste that you don't find in "normal brewed" coffee.
Fortunately, this French Vanilla product does a good job. I'm also a fan of the smoother coffees, which this is. Worried about the vanilla flavor? It is quite subtle, so do not fear. Of all the flavors I have tried, this is my favorite; hence, the excellent rating.

I used this product to clean up speaker and signal wires I had in the corner where the TV sits. When vacuuming, the cords really bugged me, so that's why I purchased this product. With the floor cleaned up, that the fact that this white kit (paintable) matched the white trim, the results are fantastic!
TIP: Be sure to measure (twice), cut, and prep all pieces BEFORE you apply the adhesive. I was glad I did this when I changed my mind about how I started because once you stick them to the wall, it's there for good!

Coffee with a bite

If you like having a typical KCup style coffee but want a small bite, then this Donut Shop is for you. Being new to the coffee drinking scene, I prefer something a bit smoother, but I find the more bitter coffees seem to get the blood flowing more. Add some milk and sugar to tackle the bite and enjoy!

Buy this album if you are a Lynch Mob fan

I had no idea Lynch Mob had a new disc; not to mention, that my local Best Buy had it in inventory. Thankfully, it was on display and Best Buy took my money.
Anyway, being a George Lynch and Lynch Mob fan for many years, I had to pick it up. Lynch Mob fans should easily enjoy this effort. Many killer tunes fast, and slow, with Oni's proficient vocals.
One might even think this a follow-up from Lynch Mob's first album so many years ago; though, time has brought a few enjoyable tricks.
The album is well written, recorded, engineered, and mixed. Fans of the band will not be disappointed.

Typical Sweet and Lynch Styles

You can take the hair rock guys out of the 80s, but you can't take their 80s styles out of the hair rock guys -- even when they have much shorter hair.
If you are a Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob) fan as well as a fan of the singing style of Michael Sweet (Stryper), then this disc may be for you. Honestly, I can't believe my local Best Buy even had this disc on display. Anyway, most tunes seem more Lynch Mob or Dokken-ish than Stryper; however, there are a few Stryper-ish tunes which leads me to believe Michael came to the table with a few of his own guitar riffs.

You get what you pay for, and I think that sums up this purchase for me. I am using this product as a second fridge. It replaced a less efficient RCA.
Some have said it is loud. It is louder than our Gold Series fridge but I think it is acceptable especially considering the price difference.
I do wish the doors had more effective closing mechanism. I had loaded the freezer and didn't realize the door failed to shut all the way until 24 hours later. Had several items thaw. So be sure doors close.
I do love the interior layout. Wish unit had LED lighting.
Seems to be a solid product and so far pleased with it.
