I knew nothing about this going in, other than the synopsis on the packaging, so the sheer dark excellence of the thing came as a pleasant surprise.
The first twenty minutes or so sets us up with the starving punk band on the road couch surfing and stealing gas for the van...just long enough for character development and not ten seconds longer, and then...
The "road movie" explodes in your face and never lets up. I'm not much on spoilers, so you'll have to see it, but suffice to say there's something for most fans here. Clever writing, dark humor, grisly-but not gratuitous-violence, and a bunch of "didn't see that coming" twists.
For best effect try to see this one with a minimum of previous information regarding the plot, then just sit back and get kicked in the head....repeatedly. Highly recommended.

An entertaining horror flick

Based on the packaging and synopsis, I expected 85 minutes of entertainment from this one and not much more. It turned out be be an interesting take on the "infected" genre (not easy to do), and quite well done. It is well acted and produced, with excellent special effects, and never annoys with obvious "low budget" compromises. It succeeded in holding my attention, and the ending is perfectly constructed for a sequel. Let's hope we get one, as I'd be interested in how our survivors make out. Recommended.

This is a traditional ghost story, set in the exotic locale of Mumbai and surrounding countryside. The somewhat well worn premise is kept fresh by the injection of Hindu superstition, which when combined with some traditional family drama and tragedy, makes for an engrossing, if appropriately dark supernatural flick. Nothing not to like here for fans of the genre.
