I've had a first-gen Apple TV for a while. I've thought it was neat, but didn't find much use for it. Occasionally, I would stream music or show some pictures, but that was about it.
After reading reviews of this 4th Gen Apple TV I found a perfect use for it--as my main entertainment center device. There are two apps that I find essential (BTW, this thing has an app store!):
The first essential is the Plex app. Using Plex gives me access to all my recorded TV shows, music, movies, that are hosted by a Plex server on my network. The Plex app is beautiful and smooth (and free).
The second essential is called Channels. Using Channels I can tune to any cable channel from my HDHomeRun tuners to watch live TV. This is another beautiful app that just works. https://getchannels.com This app was very expensive and I was apprehensive, but I'm so glad I purchased it.
Using these two apps I was able to completely replace the Media Center computer that sat at my television with the Apple TV. I replaced a very complicated Windows computer, with keyboard/mouse at the couch, with a sleek Apple TV and touch remote.
Most importantly -- my wife is happy and can navigate the apps easily. Watching TV is no longer confusing, and she can find the movies and recorded TV shows she wants to watch with ease.

I liked this charger so much I purchased a second. I routinely charge AA batteries for my camera gear. This is a reasonably fast charger that does a great job getting all my batteries ready.
I have another 15-minute charger that I try not to use, as the batteries get really hot and I worry about overall battery life using it. Batteries stay relatively cool in this charger compared to the quick charger.
I love that I can charge 8 at a time and the LED gives me a status of the charging state.

Simple charger that works great

I went to Best Buy with the simple task of picking up a portable battery charger for a trip. When I got there I soon was overwhelmed with all the options for chargers. Some had built-in power plugs, some had digital read-outs of remaining power, some were smaller, some larger. Battery size indicators weren't the same between models. There was no good way to tell how well the battery would charge my iPhone 6 Plus.
After reviewing many models, the Best Buy associate suggested this model. It was reasonably priced, and very large. He thought it would charge my phone several times on a single charge.
I went with the recommendation and have been happy with the device. The LED indicator tells how much battery power is left. I can charge my iPhone several times with the charger. In fact, I charged several iPhones for friends, kids, etc. during the trip each day and never ran out of battery power.
The device is no-frills, inexpensive, and powerful!

Interesting, but may not be worth my time

I tried to use this as a full-page scanner to scan my many bills. Unfortunately there are some drawbacks to using a device like this.
1. The paper doesn't stay still when scanning.
2. It's difficult to perfectly line up the document for a full-page scan.
3. There is no concept of multi-page document. All the scans end up as individual pages.
4. The pages all end up on the card with nothing sent to the computer until you connect. You can't tell if you got a good scan until you scan, connect, and review. This is very tedious.

After 1 month of use the bottom of the case has shattered. The phone has never been dropped, but it has been put into a car mount. The plastic covering also doesn't allow me to plug in a headphone without removing the case.
I am going to try to get the case replaced by CaseMate since their warranty is for 1 year.

Correct batteries for Nikon Coolpix L840?
I purchased a Nikon Coolpix L840 and need to purchase batteries. The instructions on the camera state that it needs EN-MH2 Ni-MH rechargeable batteries - and I understand that I also need low self-discharge. The rechargeable batteries do not show whether they are EN-MH2 or 1 and my instructions show not to use 1. How do I know which batteries are safe?
From what I read online, EN-MH1 has a min 2000mAh and the EN-MH2 has a min 2300mAh. As long as these batteries are 2300mAh minimum you should be ok.
"Low self-discharge" batteries will be labeled "Pre-charged" on the packaging.
Based on these requirements, the batteries you ask about are not the correct batteries. These are only 1400mAh, and are not "Precharged".
