I purchased 2 of these drives as laptop drive replacements. The drives worked out great...took an 8 minute boot time down to seconds. User is super happy. The drives do NOT come with any software to do a transfer from the old drive to the new. There is free software online that can do this transfer.

I'm using this connected to my computer to replace all my monitors with a single, huge 4K display. It's amazing to see Windows at such high resolution. Dividing the screen into 4 areas, each quadrant represents a full 1920x1080 HD screen.
The screen is bright and easy to read. I have the resolution in Windows set at native 4k, at 100%. It's very large for a desktop monitor...almost too large. I mounted it to the wall behind my desk and it is usable.
Windows doesn't do a great job of dividing the quadrants, though. Maximizing a window will take 100% of the screen. Be sure to learn the Windows shortcut keys for windows management. You might also consider a window management program like AquaSnap.
I do notice that viewing content that isn't 4k (like a DVD in Windows) doesn't look all that great. Windows is stretching and making up the pixels to fill the screen. I think the TV has a native screen scaling that might be better, but it doesn't seem to be enabled when using as a monitor at full-resolution.

Product works but no delay on my camera

I went to Best Buy specifically to purchase a remote for my 5D Mark II. This product works to trigger the camera. However:
1. The sales people are not able to tell you which cameras it triggers.
2. The documentation on the box and on the website says "Most Canon cameras" but does not identify the cameras work with the remote.

Most importantly: There are two remote wireless trigger modes on the 5D Mark 2. One is supposed to have a short delay before triggering the shutter. No matter which mode I use, the remote triggers the shutter immediately. That means my hand holding the remote ends up in the photo. That part is slightly annoying.

I choose my cases by a few criteria. Does the opening for the camera in the back interfere with the flash or lens? Is the power port restricted in some way by the case? If I drop the phone is there adequate protection for the corners and screen? Is the case slick or slippery so I might tend to drop it?
This case works perfectly for me. I can access all the functions of the phone while still providing good protection of my device. It isn't slick in my hands so I do not tend to drop my phone when using it.

I picked up this receiver after reading the reviews. I love it. I didn't have any problems setting it up with my Logitech Harmony remote.
I use this device to drive my TV, with an Apple TV 4th Gen as my main video source. The two work great together!
I connected to my existing JBL 5.1 speakers and they have never sounded so good!
I like the on-screen display showing information when needed. My last receiver was so old school it had RCA connections for video switching. This was a great purchase to get with the times.
I did have some trouble with the remote app for the iphone. The device cannot be found when scanning my network for receivers. I had to set a fixed IP address and then instruct the app to add the receiver at that IP. After that the remote app worked well.

I am using this device only for physical DVDs. I tried to setup some of the apps, but didn't find any apps of any value to me (since I also have an Apple TV that is serving most apps).
It plays DVDs and Blu-Ray disks just fine. I would probably look at another product if I were interested in using for the apps.

Correct batteries for Nikon Coolpix L840?
I purchased a Nikon Coolpix L840 and need to purchase batteries. The instructions on the camera state that it needs EN-MH2 Ni-MH rechargeable batteries - and I understand that I also need low self-discharge. The rechargeable batteries do not show whether they are EN-MH2 or 1 and my instructions show not to use 1. How do I know which batteries are safe?
From what I read online, EN-MH1 has a min 2000mAh and the EN-MH2 has a min 2300mAh. As long as these batteries are 2300mAh minimum you should be ok.
"Low self-discharge" batteries will be labeled "Pre-charged" on the packaging.
Based on these requirements, the batteries you ask about are not the correct batteries. These are only 1400mAh, and are not "Precharged".
