5 Minutes to install a lifetime of security

Conclusion: The Google Nest Doorbell (Wired) second generation took 5 minutes to install while watching the video on how to install it is 11:10 (check Google's YouTube video on how to install it)
Nest team did think of everything, and I mean everything when designing this mighty doorbell camera.
the contents of the box include:
Nest Doorbell
base plate
20 degree wedge if your doorbell button is facing a less than optimal direction
Chime puck to connect your chime to the nest system
hex key
2 wall screws and anchors
2 spacers for not so even walls
extra security key
window decal to scare off thugs
quick start guide
safety & warranty info.

setup:
1- install Google Home app - add new devise in app- Nest Doorbell wired - scan QR code on camera and follow the instructions.
2- Turn off electricity for the chime box. Go to your chime box, follow the app instructions or the youtube video and connect the chime puck (2 wires) to the chime box connectors. this step takes 2 minutes max.
3- go to your doorbell. unscrew old door bell, connect wires coming out of the wall to the nest wired DoorBell. secure door bell t wall. screw in the security screw to fix the doorbell to the baseplate.
4- turn on eectricity, follow the rest of the steps and test your doorbell in the Google Home app.
all in all installation took me less than 5 minutes.

design: the Google nest doorbell wired looks very simple and elegant. it also looks like its well made.
Features: this is where this shines.
- I was able to setup visitor announcements through my Google assistant devices like the home or the display. they do announce when someone rings the doorbell.
- I am able to see my doorbell live feed on my Google Display and my next Display and on the new Google home web page.
- you can set quick responses and quiet times to avoid getting notified about not so important notifications during the evening hours.
- I was also able to create activity zones to exclude notifications for activities am not interested in.
- with no subscription, you are able to view the last 3 hours of EVENTS in your Google home app. this is helpful and I think long enough if you dont want to opt in for a subscription.

great setup for the price

This Camera and garage door controller combo is great for the price! what can you buy with $50 these days?
everything you need for the install is included in the box.
you will get the camera, controller, wall USB plug, USB splitter to connect to the charger, camera and controller, 3m STicker to fix the camera somewhere, metal plate to fix the controller if you want to, a sticker for the camera to recognize if the garage door is open or closed, and an instruction manual.
installation took about 15 minutes, calibration took 5 minutes.
I chose to fix the camera on top of my garage door opener and it was magnetic so I didnt need to use the plate or the 3m sticker. connecting to electricity was easy and figuring out which wires of the garage opener to connect the controller to took about 3 minutes.
just follow the wires to the wall button and you can figure it out.
after that it took me a couple tries to calibrate it after installing the app.
the camera quality is decent and the response speed is good for the price. I have a camera monitoring the outside of the garage so this is just an extra layer of security.
i had a hiccup where I have a wifi enabled door opener and it took me a while to figure out a way to make both work (the wyze app and the wifi enabled door opener) but I was able to figure it out eventually.
the sticker on the inside of the garage door doesn't bother me, yes they could have avoided it but the thing would have cost more then.
I am completely satisfied with this product.

big power in small body!

The Insignia 100 dual port charger fits all my needs for home and work.
it does have the ability to fast charge anything from my wireless earbuds to my Lenovo Y laptop in a speedy manner.
Gone are the days where I needed to carry multiple chargers on business trips.
with the Insignia 100 Watt dual USB C charger kit, I only need this one charger.
The charger comes with an AMAZING 8 feet well built USB C to USB C cable that I know will last for a long time.
the charger delivers 100 Watts when one device is being charged or 65W and 35W when 2 devices are charged.
of course the cable included with the charger is 100 Watt certified which means it will work with everything that takes power from a USB C port.
the charger does have a 1 year warranty and I doubt that I will be needing it.
the charger has a really small foot print but it it heavy!
although its heavy, it doesn't fall or slip from the wall plug when inserted. this foldable plug is formidable.
I also tried to charge my wife MacBook Pro and it did charge it like a charm.
I really like this charger!

I have had the 2021 model H8G quantum series and let me tell you, this new U8H is in a whole different league. the processing speed is superior even to the $2500+ 75inch tv i have in the living room. the brightness and vividness of colors is unmatched at this price point, and the blacks are really deep thanks to the Full Array Local Dimming. when hooked to a good internet connection weather wireless or wired, you will be able to stream content in 4K with HDR with no issues at all.
the sound volume and clarity are really good and the remote is very easy to operate especially with the dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime video, YouTube, Disney, Tubi and Peacock.
the availability of Google assistant and the Google tv system that runs this TV makes the experience much better and more enjoyable. I logged into my Google account and my favorite apps were already there and i just needed to log into them and thats it! moving from one room to the other wasn't an issue no more.
This Tv has 4 HDMI ports, 2 of them are HDMI2.1 and 2 USB ports with one of them being USB3 and Bluetooth for hooking up with things like a headphone for discreet listening if the tv is in the bedroom.
mounting the TV was a breeze as it comes with 4 screws in the back but I used longer screws that came in with the wall mounting bracket that I purchased. mounting the tv needed a drill, a level and 10 minutes of time.
the sound volume and clarity are really good and the remote is very easy to operate especially with the dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime video, YouTube, Disney, Tubi and Peacock.

Great picture with high speed response rate

LOVE LOVE LOVE This screen.
I have been looking for a square Monitor that has gaming specs like fast response rate, high refresh rate and no blur.
This HP 31.5 IPS QHD AMD freeSync checks all of those boxes.
it came packaged well in its box with the stand and the base separate, and the power cable and guide in a bag.
putting the monitor together took 45 seconds and it was a go.
the monitor needed no calibration whatsoever.
I am using it with An Asus ROG with Nvidia 3070 and the performance is out of this world.
the blacks are dark and the colors are vivid.
response rate is really high and there is not blurring at all.
it has both HDMI and Display ports, can be mounted on the wall or a mounting arm or just use the base.
the monitor has adjustable Hight and tilt but you cant use it vertically because the base arm is not long enough but it can be solved with an after market arm.
bezels are decent, not really frameless nor does it have wide bezels. but it might be a distraction if you are pairing screens for productivity.
all in all, I think that thise monitor is a homerun at a decent price point and I really like it.

Reliable power delivery, everyday, every time

Anker has been my go to brand for chargers, charging cables, and power banks for over 10 years now.
They never fail to deliver. when I saw the new 735 65W 3 post foldable charger available, I had to get it.
I am using it to charge my Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1 and my Google Pixel 6 phone. the charger is very reliable and delivers the 65W needed to charge most 2in1 laptops and all phones. it has 3 charging ports: a USB A with a 22.5 Watts max delivery and 2 USB C ports with a max 65 Watts of max power delivery.
when used together the 735 regulates and splits power between the ports for maximum efficiency.
When using the USB C port to charge my Google Pixel 6, the phone reflects the fact that this is a high quality charger by displaying the words ( charging rapidly). meaning that this Anker 735 meets the rigorous Google quality control for efficient charging.
my Lenovo Yoga is another story. I used to carry the laptop and its bulky charger with the bulky charging cable anywhere I go and all of that has been replaced by this tiny foldable charger and a high quality charging cable I purchased separately from Anker.
Final thoughts:
with more and more companies selling devices without chargers and charging cables, Anker has been my go to for high quality portable chargers. they never failed me and they keep improving their designs and products.

Alienware name to gaming is a name like no other! I have known the Alienware name to be the best computer in town for gaming since the year 2000!

This laptop is built like a tank, it is heavy and sturdy. the hinges feels great. you can open it with one hand by lifting the screen up from the middle.
the color is very nice. the mattish black with the number 17 etched on the back with the Alienware head logo on the back and on the power button look great.
the ventilation holes on the bottom and the backlit ring also look wonderful.

you can upgrade the Ram and SDD on this laptop. to get to the inside all you have is 8 Philips screws that are taken out easily. and you will be able to upgrade both in less than 10 minutes of time if needed.

Usage and feel:
the touch pad is OK, the keyboard feels well but I wish they had a num pad considering the size of this thing. the RGB backlit is customizable. the palm rest feels good but it will need to be cleaned all the time. the volume is high but the sound quality is OK.

I am using this and Comparing it to my Asus TUF gaming which has a 12th Gen I7 processor with 16 GB DDR5 Ram and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 and let me tell you, It night and day difference.
Yes the Alienware is almost double the price but it is also much much faster that a comparable specs laptop with a bigger screen.
fan noise and heat are very much acceptable for a laptop of this size and specifications. they are indeed better than the comparable intel CPU's of the same class.
overclocking options are limited and locked by Dell.
All games I played were played on high settings and I had zero issues or lag whatsoever.
Games played were Microsoft Flight simulator, Assasin Creed Odyssy, Apex Legends, Tomb Raider.
I really like this laptop and I think it is something that will last a few years with a memory and SSD upgrade down the road. Another thing I never mentioned is how good (and replaceable) the Wifi card is.
I think this laptop is a home run for Alienware and the only things I wished were available at this price is a 4K Screen with a fingerprint physical security option. Other than that, this laptop is a home run!

Complete solution for floor cleaning!

This is our 4th Robo cleaner between vacuums and floor mops and it is by far the most mature and complete solution we have used to date.
Conclusion: This is a fast, easy to maintain, easy to schedule patterns, can mop with soap, vacuum floors and can adapt and clean in an efficient way for years to come without needing to adjust anything. I definitely recommend this solution.

this robo vacuum and mop combo is well designed, and can blend in with any décor if its exposed. the base is the charger and the cleaning station and has a 2 water tanks for clean and dirty water and one tank that houses the exchangeable dirt bag that results from vacuuming.
the base does take some real estate though! its about a foot and half deep and about a foot high and almost a foot wide. if you have a smaller room or apartment this might not be a great solution for you.

Setup:
take out of the box, find a place to put the station in, take all stickers off the base and the robo vacuum, fill the clean water tank, attach the exchangeable dirt bag, download the roborock app, connect to your roborock cleaner, update the firmware if needed and you are good to go.

App ease of use:
the app for RoboRock is the most stable, fast and responsive app I have used on a robo vacuum to date. the features are great from setting zones, to remembering rooms to scanning and setting virual no go zones. the ability to set multiple schedules for different rooms and the ability to see whats happening in real time. the app is stable and very good.

Water tank capacity:
the water tank is enough to do a deep clean for almost 1000 square feet of hardwood. which is plenty and all you have to do is add clean water to the clean water tank and flush the dirty water from the dirty water tank. the tanks are easily detachable like lifting a small bucket off the floor.

Mapping:
since the robo vac has cameras and sensors and a fast processor. it did map the room in the first clean which took a little bit longer, but changed course in the second cleaning and used the most efficient and fast route to clean the room after the mapping was done.
the vac also automatically tags obstacles and names them based on shape (thanks to AI I think).

cleaning:
this is where the vacc shines. we have 3 cats and a teenager who leaves more crumbs behind him than a cat sheds hair! the cleaning is very very good and the hard floors are always shiny after the cleaning and we are very happy with it.

the vacc cleans itself! and cleans the mop between floor cleaning cycles and you don't need to do any dirty work! this alone gives this mop 5 stars.

operation on hardwood/ rug/ carpet mix:
We have hardwood and carpet across the house and this roborock can recognize that and raise or lift the mop when it detects a rug to avoid any unnecessary resistance.

DJI awesomeness strikes again!

Disclaimer: this is my 3rd high quality drone in the past 4 years. I had an Autel Evo, and I have a DJI Mavic Air 2S and now this DJI Mini 3 Pro.
I cant even begin to describe how good this drone is so here are my favorite features in NO particular order:
1- No NEED for your phone anymore. read that again!
2- No NEED to hook cables to the remote from your phone, its a get out of the bag, turn on and FLY!
3- Very Good remote control with perfect screen and good ergonomics.
4- You dont need to register your drone with the FAA anymore. its light weight with the same awesome features but in a pocket size!. check the picture I uploaded of the mini 3 Pro next to my DJI Mavic Air 2S. look how smaller the thing is. I really like it more than the 2S and it suits my needs more. this is very important feature.
5- Its light weight, it won't take a huge space in my backpack or in my carry on case when flying.
6- the battery life is decent. I got 28 minutes and am planning on buing another battery.
7- USB-C CHarging. Enough said!
8- video support material is very helpful and I have to be very honest here. this is by far the easiest drone to set up and operate among all the drones I have owned. I am very happy with it.
9- Obstacle avoidance is very good and on par with bigger more expensive drones.
10- photo and video quality are perfect and more than enough for someone who uses the drone for anything beside professional vlogging. it will be wonderful for your memories with friends or on a trip or even your exotic honeymoon destination. If you can afford it, get it! its worth it.
11- the drone is ready to use out of the box, just hook it to Wifi and let it update (took my drone 20 minutes total
12- the drone needs a high quality micro- SD card. the internal memory is 1.2 GB and isnt enought for anything. when you get the drone get a Micro- SD card.
13- some of my favorite features are the master shot, Hyper time lapse and the active tracking. very easy to setup.
14- the remote has 2 customizable buttons that you can program.
15- video quality is 4K HDR and the photo quality is 48 MP

Norton 360 standard with Norton utilities unlimited is a perfect solution that has everything you need to protect you device whether its a pc or mac or a phone against the dark art threats.
it has an anti virus, vpn, anti malware, browser protection, deep and fast scan, dark web monitoring for emails or phones, secure cloud back up, device clean up and accelerator and a device scrubber to permanently delete files from your device.
I have used Norton a lot in the past 25 years and this solution is now superior and very well priced for what it does.
it is also much much faster than before and doesn't eat your device resources and slows it down.
I have been using this version on my PC for the past 10 days and I have yet to find anything to complain about.
installing the software was very easy and fast. just follow the instructions and you will be secure in no time.
you do not have to use all the included features, you enables what you want and leave out what you want.
I did not use the 10GB cloud storage because I do a weekly cold storage and back up for my device.

Can I installation this camera on ceiling?
The Lorex security camera is a great option for affordable Indoor home security camera that packs a lot of features:

Setup:
- I unpacked the camera, connected it to the power adapter, waited until the led light on the camera turned to solid green per the instructions, downloaded the Lorex home app, followed the instructions to add a new device, scanned the QR code, and the rest was automatic and took less than a minute. once installation was complete I went to Lorex home app and it started a quick tutorial to show me how to control the camera from the app.
everything was seamless and all advertised features worked great and fast. the pan, tilt, and zoom options are snappy to respond and very easy to use through the Lorex home app, you also have to options to record SD, and HD. I found the SD acceptable and it saves space on the Micro SD card which I plan to replace with the max the Camera can support which is 256 GB.
the camera has a 2 way microphone option and it streams sound as well when you open the app.
the night vision is very acceptable and does what it should flawlessly.
The video quality is up to 1920 X 1080
The camera connects on 2.4 gh wireless network, or by plugging an Ethernet cable in its back (which is better for quality and streaming delay, and more secure).
Pros:
The camera is very easy to setup and very easy to use.
I was able to connect the camera to my google home app and to stream the camera feed to my google devices like Google nest screen, and my Google assistant enabled TV by simply asking Google assistant to stream my lorex feed to one of the connected devices.
You can take pictures from within the video incase you needed to.
there is a privacy mode where the camera lens will tilt and be covered inside the casing and the microphone will stop recording. you can reach it by simply opening the app and press the privacy mode button to enable or disable it.

Do these plug into a power source or are they battery operated?
Its powered by a USB cable and a power adapter which is provided in the box.

Is this device compatible with a 5g internet connection?
This works using either wifi or ethernet. has othing to do with 5G (which is a cellular network).

Yes you can and after you do you can go and enable the option rotate image from the app to get the picture right.
