I had Sonos Play 3 in my living room but ended up selling it because I wanted more stereo separation. But for a bedroom where you will listen to music in background this is great. It can play music loud without distortion. To take maximum advantage on Sonos systems is to have a streaming service as Apple Music, Spotify or Google Play. Consider it does not have an Aux input so everything would be streaming.

Good sound for the size, don't expect full range

If you want audiophile sound & stereo separation do not buy this. Not because it's a bad product, because it's a different category product. This little box provides a great sound even at high volume. Depending on the song the bass may make it rattle and displace. It can be switched to charge your phone via the USB port. Once paired Bluetooth will auto connect. For the price it sounds equal or better to those in the $100 to $150 range. So if this is the category you need give it a try.

If you already own an AppleTv it may not worth the upgrade unless you are going to play games. For a first time device in Apple ecosystem is great. In my case I got it for the games, played SketchTV with my family in Christmas and New Years, it really gets the fam together when trying to guess what those ugly drawings are.

Feeling that my AirPort Timecapsule was not enough to back up my photos & music I went with this drive. It's a nice feature to be able to access my file in my iPhone while away. The app needs improvement but does its job. I like that I can upload file to the drive from my phone saving space & protecting file by having a backup. The software included is only for windows, it forces you to use Time Machine which doesn't keep my folder structure and files are not accessible.

My dad old stereo broke so he needed a new one. Looking for an easy to use, nice looking and good quality stereo this one shined.
First of all have you seen the design on most new shelf stereo systems? With all those changing lights and mega speakers, it looks like college party, which is not bad but not right for a grown up living room.
This unit is great for small living rooms. Has all the features you may need, CD, Bluetooth with NFC, USB for playing music and charging tablet or phone and Aux input that can be used to connect a turn table or other devices.
Overal for the price and design is one of the shelf stereo systems in a box you can get.
