To me anything Neil Young puts out is cause for celebration. This CD as I said, Good not Great in my opinion falls a bit short. Its just not the classic Neil Young sound we all know and love. Still good though.
Some really great live excerpts from Jeff's 2014 Tour. I just feel that this live release should have been a complete show as he played some really great sets during that tour. Perhaps a full show will be released hopefully in the near future. Also includes two new songs from his soon to be released new studio CD.
An updated version of the already classic show, Space Ritual. This set comes with a DVD, although their is a more complete Deluxe package 2CD/2DVD which is only available thru there website. This is a great addition to any Hawkwind collection. Very creative variations as you can always expect from this already Classic Concert. Expand the mind.........
Another of the many live Quicksilver CD releases that have flooded the music scene. This is an excellent recording of a incomplete show.To bad as it is a very early concert. This CD is still worth getting. It contains some very rare tracks not heard elsewhere unless you have some of the bootleg releases. Oh come on, you know you want it !
As I stated, some very early guitar playing. Not at all what most of us are used to hearing as with The Jimi Hendrix Experience. That would come some months later. But what we do have here is another stepping stone of the ever evolving Jimmy Hendrix as he was presented as. He changed the spelling of his name with The Experience and of course his innovative guitar playing and song writing came to fruitation ever expanding with each album he released. So, this is a CD that can be considered Historic. But in my most humble opinion, Just not something I'd listen to that often. It does look nice in my Hendrix collection though.
A Masterpiece of Folk, Rock and Blues. Simply put, one of the best Rock albums ever to be imagined. If for some reason you don't have this amazing piece of Rock History, get it now. Along with all the other Led Zeppelin albums of course. The bonus disc is not a bad little extra too.
Another great show from the Rolling Stones. The set list in my opinion could have included some of their earlier songs, but then again I perfer the Mick Taylor or Brian Jones era's. Not that Ronnie Wood does'nt hold his own as he surely can along with Keith on this show. All an all, it is a great Stones show and very much worth having with many listenings and the DVD is just the iceing on the cake ! Enjoy !
